The therapist are professional and they will understand your pain area and cover your whole body from head to toe including hand and legs, giving a special treatment to your pain area, for me it was shoulders and neck. King Thai Massage did not mention that they would not be covered by SunLife and when my husband put the claim in through later that night it was rejected as King Thai Massage is a delisted provider. I am now out $60 on something I assumed would be 100% covered. I requested some accommodation by just refunding me the $25 RMT premium and the location refused. Needless to say I will never go back and I hope to warn others ahead of time as well.

I've never had a Thai massage before, but I'll definitely be looking for a local place and coming back here when I visit. They were professional and friendly, talented and surprisingly strong. I.e. my husband couldnt handle the deep tissue pressure but I could. Appointments can be booked online and you will need a credit card to confirm your reservation. I opted for a 75min deep tissue massage. Day of massage, I was a bit skeptical at first due to the storefront of the massage place. They are located on the 2nd floor where you do have to take off your shoes upon entering. Never judge a book by its cover because as soon as I entered I was greeted by Nitchapatr who ushered me into a massage room. She gave me some hand sanitizer to use and left me alone to change out of my clothes. During the full body deep tissue massage Nitchapatr worked on some deep knots I had in my shoulder the most. She made sure that I was comfortable with the pressure throughout but knew that I was feeling some pain from my shoulder knots. She even offered to put Tiger Balm on me to make sure I was more comfortable. After the massage I quickly put back on my clothes and went out to pay. I was offered some Thai tea. Nitchapatr and I made small talk and she commented that I should likely come back for more treatments as my shoulder knots were quite deep. My body definitely felt the effects of the deep tissue massage. I felt tired afterwards but did feel great and had a good night of rest. Overall, great massage place, they definitely know their stuff and will treat whatever pain you are experiencing. The entire massage was good but not really relaxing as the massage therapist, Veronica, was a bit rough on my shoulders and back. But I guess I was just really stiff that day. I am really glad that she didn't talk to me at all throughout the massage as other places would continually ask me questions and I would have to stop her from asking. Overall, it was a good experience. It is quite expensive in my opinion ($95+tax). They do provide RMT receipts so it would be great if you want to claim some of the benefits.
