Cool little souvenir shop. We passed this location a few times but didn't realize it was the same Coyote Corner. The sign out front just says "Gift Shop." We thought it was something else, once inside though, you can see it is indeed Coyote Corner. They have a bit of everything, some things a few dollars cheaper than I'd seen in other places, and they did have a bit more of a variety with some items like stickers, magnets, etc. It's not a huge place but there's plenty to go around and look at. This has to be the best store I've ever set foot in. I wandered for probably an hour in there and surely missed some items. There's something for everyone. I got a beautiful nightlight and boyfriend got some carved keychains. They had miniature pottery, posters, towels, clothes, jewelry, snacks, prickly pear fruit items, cactus water, stained glass art... something for everyone. This is a well stocked gift shop right outside the Joshua Tree park entrance on Park blvd. While the store is not large, there's plenty to shop from. They have souvenirs for all kinds of tastes and people. Prices are reasonable. The staff is also super nice! They take cash and credit card. No bathroom in the store but you can use the bathroom right across the street at the JT visitor center. read more

What a great gift shop! How is it that we've been to JTNP so many times but have never stopped into Coyote Corner until now? It's right across from the visitor's center, with plenty of parking and plenty of unique gifts. Check out their website for more a deeper dive into what they have, and here are the highlights from my perspective. I love the wood art here and am kicking myself currently for not coming home with one (I will next time for sure!). The designs are so cool - definitely check those out towards the middle of the store, on top of the clothing racks. I also absolutely love the sticker collection - it's pretty massive! And decently priced. There are stickers of all sizes, including wraparounds. Their stationery selection is quite impressive, with a lot of JT designs on notebooks. I wasn't sure about the paper quality though. Lastly, I love the little JT paperweights (I think they're paperweights? I'm not 100% sure - see photo). There are different sizes and would make great accent pieces around the house. We spent so much time here, and the kids loved it. They have a lot of toys, magic tricks, etc. for the kids. They even have night lights that have cool designs on them! Oh, and I picked up a harmonica! Service is super friendly here too - I'm definitely a fan and will be back to pick up that wood piece next time I'm in the area! read more

I came to shop but sadly got stuck real bad by a cactus outside the lot. I had no idea what to do so I ran in this store and begged for help with getting the cactus unstuck from my finger. They could have easily told me to go away but they miraculously pulled the bit of cactus out of my skin, cleaned my wound and offered me a sticker. There is also a notable selection of books about the area and Joshua Tree National Park. The selection of maps, history, and informational materials is impressive. I don't know why I've never written a review of this place, but that stops now. Five stars, easy. I've been coming here for, well, I don't know how long, at least twenty years? Probably more. The people who work here are always friendly. There is something here for everyone, even locals (because locals love things like shirts depicting UFOs in the desert, which are impossible to resist!). I really enjoyed my time in Joshua Tree. I went for some quiet and nature once the Covid-19 restrictions were somewhat lifted. I chose to hotel closer to Palm Springs due to temps and having my dog with me. I found the trail entrances and parking / camping areas very easy to find. In fact between the signage and the info from Alltrails, it was a total breeze. For the most part, getting out around sun up I had the trails and scenic points to myself. I did Warren's Peak, the Barker Dam trail, Ryan Mountain, Black Rock to Lost Horse Mine, and the Palomar Loop. All rated moderate to sort-of easy. Some really didn't have a lot of elevation gain but lots of great views and nature. I didn't see too much wild life. A lot of desert birds, lots of types of lizards, a couple slithery things I avoided (not a fan), and a couple 4-legged creatures that didn't want much to do with me. It was great being in nature and having so many places to myself. For hiking, camping, relaxing, and mountain biking Joshua Tree is just great. It's a wonderful place to get in touch with your thoughts and mother nature. Cheers! read more

Joshua tree has become our escape a few times a year and kind of tradition for our family yet we realized we didn't have a magnet from here (we collect magnets from places we visit for memories). Just stopped in for a magnet and very friendly staff who helped explain pricing and selection , we were short on time and would've stayed longer but overall loved the unique selection and friendly service. We agreed this will be a regular pit stop whenever we come to Joshua Tree. I recommend getting the cactus jelly made especially for Coyote Corner and Leslie'a Legendary Toffee. When I came there was a long line to get in so try to arrive a bit early. Cost was $80.00 dollars $30.00 for day pass I took a picture provided a list of prices. It can be cold bundle up or bring extra just in case. Restrooms are available through park. Plenty of land to explore. While here seen a tiny fox just crossing the highway like nothing. It is there land as we are the visitors. Ran into the most friendliness people out there in Joshua must be that were nature lovers and are there for all the same reasoning to enjoy the beauty in nature. I was kicked out with my PSA which is illegal due to California law. Maybe have your rude ass cashiers do a little educational research as she was trying to tell me that my psychiatric service animal is an emotional support animal and not a real service dog and kicked me out. A PSA IS A SERVICE ANIMAL AND HELPS MY CONDITION. THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!! How are you about to tell me what my dog is? You look dumb and will lose my business forever as well as everyone else I tell this to. Do not recommend this business based on the rude and clearly uneducated employees. Seems like a lot of others agree on the rude employees as well. Under California law, it is like I said, illegal to ban PSAs under the ADA. Will be taking this matter further. read more

TLDR: super nice staff and cute stuff! I stopped by this store after being mildly disappointed by the gift selection at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center across the street and I was pleasantly surprised. I visited on New Years weekend so the line was relatively long because the store had placed strict regulations on how many people could be in the store at one time. However, it was well worth the wait because this store offered so many cute products from plants to stickers to patches and more! I ended up purchasing one patch and a couple stickers and pins just to commemorate my time at the national park. I also was drawn to the cactus candy so I purchased a box of that too! Everything was well organized and the girls who worked there were super helpful and nice. I highly recommend supporting this shop because they have the cutest souvenirs! Everything was also super good quality!! I could probably spend hours just browsing everything this store had to offer. read more
