I'm not sure who Big Josh is but he's someone important here.

Let's see: I could go to Joshua Tree National Park or I could spend a couple of hours browsing the absolutely strange oddities and truly excellent vinyl collection at The Station. The fact I'm writing this review tells you what choice I made. Parking is located behind the building and there is a designated reserved spot for actress Beverly D'Angelo. If you don't know who that is, maybe go back and watch one of the "Vacation" movies. According to the owner, she has visited the shop before. And I believe him. There are quirky t-shirts, stickers, patches, knickknacks, posters, and just tons of stuff. In the back area outside the shop, there are giant odds and ends, like displays and booths, from carnivals or fairs, I can only imagine. It's a trip. I don't know that you should skip a national park to come here. But I do encourage you to visit.

Super cute souvenir shop. Lots of nostalgic little kid rides they used to have outside stores back in the day. Lots of interesting and funny things to look at. They also sell little snacks and clothing.

Been coming here once a year for trinkets for a few years now and I always find something that feels perfectly fitting on every trip. It's become a place I tell everyone to stop at, the several hour drive is worth it everytime. And to the lady complaining it's not kid friendly (which is a lie), if that were true, honestly good, I love not seeing kids running around and screaming and touching everything! It's peaceful every time I go. Keep on keeping on.

Looking for a cool place to snag some unique souvenirs? Well, this is the place! They have all kinds of shirts, patches, stickers, Mexican blankets and a bunch of other things you never knew you needed. Prices a good and the stuff was friendly. If you like older vinyl don't forget to check out back. They even have a selfie stand to get pics of you and the cowboy.

They really did have a lot of unique things and definitely could find something for anyone that you are shopping for. I would say that they could be a tad more friendly. Did really get a warm welcome when I arrived or was shopping. I definitely will give credit though for their selection

Destination - The Station of Joshua Tree This super venue meets gift & souvenir shop is a photo-worthy slice of oasis in the desert. Come for the vintage and nuance vibes, amazing service and beautiful layout.... just shy of the Joshua Tree visitors center and Joshua Tree National (park). Proud owner of a new navy blue The Station Tee, I couldn't be happier with and at a great price ($25). Added some groovy shades and miscellaneous knick knacks (like magnets) to my purchases as well. Walking around is pretty maze like, this places is definitely bigger than it appears as they've had weddings and celebrations here many times including a friend of friends wedding a few years back I've seen pictures of. They spruce things up for fancy fun! There's a motel next door that I was told is just okay, but very convenient if you do decide to rent out the space and host an event here. I don't know if they can provide or more so suggest vendors (food trucks, etc) and music for you - but was told they're great at accommodating whatever they can and have professional photo shoots here often. Would definitely consider a birthday or celebration of some kind here for sure or at the very least stop by for more neat vintage vibes and gifts for others. Their huge back patio, restrooms and landscape are all worth checking out as well. Pull in at Twentynine Palms Highway & Grand View Circle on your adventures, travels and/or vacation.

No service at gas station it's a walk in for JT goodies. Had a wide range of cute JT souvenirs, cute outside photo opportunities: Big lookalike Paul Bunyan, white & yellow cars and patio area with gift options. Counter employee was nice & engaged in some commentary regarding Cheez-it station that was temporarily there which we had inquired about. Supercool gift store to stop in & purchase items & take pics. Put it on your list!

Fun little place on the way out of Joshua Tree National Park. Bought some friendship bracelets, magnets, sweater, and posters. Nice place in Palm Springs area

Not sure what the hype is about "The Station." Cool old vehicles staged outside. Inside, they have a wide variety of items from the past. I even saw a Rat Fink themed decal! The guy behind the counter never said "hi" or really looked up. They had custom t shirts made for The Station, but they were $35. They had unique bandanas, but I could not find a price.

Best selection of rowdy (and tame) vintage bumper stickers in SoCal. It's what keeps me coming back

Stopped here with our kids and from the moment we got there, we were greeted and treated amazing! I also witnessed the employees treating other customers amazing and it was nice to go in there, have the kids ride the rides out back and take pictures with the turtle in the back. Cute items are sold in there and I'll definitely come back to buy the prickly pear syrup that can be added to your drinks at home! I didn't get their names but there was a guy with an orange shirt that was super nice to my sons and nephews and they had an amazing time shopping and looking around. I loved how friendly they were with the kids! Handicap friendly, amazing employees, cute items, cold drinks, it was nice to finally stop there and enjoy it.

This place is a cool little spot right down the block from the entrance to Joshua tree national park. The man working there, who I think is the owner, was really nice and a lot of fun. Definitely has a personality and will interact with you to get you smiling. They had random things there from vintage stuff to gift shop stuff. The reason my friend and I stopped there tho was for the blankets, which were high quality and affordable.

It is the one fronting the West entrance to the Park, which is the more popular of the two. It is located before having to pay the park entrance fee. It was manned by two friendly, quite busy volunteer rangers, answering any questions about your visit. We didn't have time to visit the park itself, so took the opportunity to learn a bit more about the park from displays and presentations. As I learned, it is crowded inside (shoulder to shoulder). There is a dedicated parking lot, along with street parking, and a small gift shop. My wife's mom ended up buying a tote bag (or two) to take back home. We didn't get to go inside the park this time, but was able to see plenty of Joshua trees real close, which are only endemic to this area.
