There are a couple crochet art pieces right outside, along with a table of crochet hats. Yes, I bought one. When you step inside, there's a hanging chair I took a selfie in. Barely made the weight limit. :). The artist's working studio is adjacent to the store. The Art Queen herself. It's quite the eclectic little store. She sells crochet tops, crochet animals, crochet hearts, crochet flowers, and well, you get the picture. Along with that hat, I also purchased a heart, bear face, and a couple flowers. All for $20! What a bargain. I'm surprised I was able to stop myself from buying more. In a trailer across the way, she sells new afghan blankets. Yes, new. Those are also reasonably priced.

But she wasn't trying to up-sell us - She was just enthusiastic about the rocks and crystals and we agreed that what she showed us was amazing. For example, we got the kryptonite. It glows so well. We held off on the muldavite, but one day that will become a reality. I won't elaborate on the reasons for the secret rocks or the secret meetings that I hold. But I will tell you that you might end up seeing me here a lot. Thank you

In Joshua Tree, it's The End. These are not stores where you walk in and grab something off a rack and call it a day. This is where you build a look. The pieces are curated, the textures are right, and there's a very intentional mix of vintage, statement, and elevated boho that you just do not see everywhere else. You can feel that the owners understand style, not just trends, and that makes all the difference. It will take many pieces to bring it all together, so take your time. Do not rush through it. Let yourself explore, try things on, and really pay attention to what feels right. This is not about grabbing one perfect item. It is about layering, editing, and building something slowly until it becomes your look. The right jewelry, the right gloves, the right hat or bolero. Every detail matters. You never quite know what the final result will be, and that is part of the magic. It is a process. You shift things, you refine, and then suddenly it all comes together in a way you could not have planned from the beginning. What I love most is that you are not going to walk into an event and see someone else wearing the same thing. That almost never happens anymore, and here it feels possible again. Admission is free and visiting is really so novel. I do crochet, and do a lot of other creative crafts and was so excited for my nerdy heart to visit the museum. If you visit their website you will also see that it's the "museum seen around the world" with photos of it popping up in airports around the world because it was featured in and HSBC advertisement. So if you like to create, or you like unique roadside attractions, be sure to visit The World Famous Crochet Musuem. The cool thing too, there are other things to see and shop at the same location in Joshua Tree. The area is really neat, and a place to add to your bucket list.

I spent my birthday here in Joshua Tree and when I travel I often look up places to visit which are unusual for the area. This little place popped up and I knew I had to visit. This is an old converted drive thru Fotomat kiosk like they used to have that was deserted and sat on the highway for many years before it was moved and transformed into this museum. It houses a large and uncounted collection of colorful crochet items. Shari Elf is the artist and has collected all these whimsical pieces. From animals, dolls, food and other characters there is a lot to take in. It is very eclectic and cute. Shari is known as the "Art Queen" and she also has a gallery of art. She asks you not to touch, just look. Donations are accepted via Venmo. This area also houses other small businesses worth exploring.

The environment is very relaxing & is conveniently located next to Cold Stone. Everyone who works here is very nice & welcoming. It's really just a good place to hangout. They recently just got new plants; cactus to be exact. They're so cute & reasonably priced just like the whole store! Check them out!
