But she wasn't trying to up-sell us - She was just enthusiastic about the rocks and crystals and we agreed that what she showed us was amazing. For example, we got the kryptonite. It glows so well. We held off on the muldavite, but one day that will become a reality. I won't elaborate on the reasons for the secret rocks or the secret meetings that I hold. It is the one fronting the West entrance to the Park, which is the more popular of the two. It is located before having to pay the park entrance fee. It was manned by two friendly, quite busy volunteer rangers, answering any questions about your visit. We didn't have time to visit the park itself, so took the opportunity to learn a bit more about the park from displays and presentations. As I learned, it is crowded inside (shoulder to shoulder). There is a dedicated parking lot, along with street parking, and a small gift shop. My wife's mom ended up buying a tote bag (or two) to take back home. We didn't get to go inside the park this time, but was able to see plenty of Joshua trees real close, which are only endemic to this area.

We tried the Third Eye and sampled the Heart Opener--both were delicious. We ended up getting the Third Eye, but honestly, we would've been just as happy with the Heart Opener too. During the week, the teas are available bottled, but on the weekends you can get them freshly made, which takes the experience to another level. The vibe is super cool with spots to hang out and relax, making it a great little detour while exploring Joshua Tree. The service was just as memorable--the woman helping us was incredibly kind and welcoming, and finding out she's the one who creates the teas and owns the shop made it even more special. You can really feel the care behind everything here. Five stars, highly recommend if you're in Joshua Tree on a weekend.
