We were staying at Twentynine Palms for a short getaway and Yelped places with stones and other zen type things. I enjoyed the experience and bought a couple of things but I thought it would have had more items. All in all I did fine it ok. Just wish it had more merchandise. read more

Whoh. What an awesome place in the desert. It's a perfect place to stop by and grab a gift for myself or for someone special. What I love most at this unique place is to find one of the kind local theme for jewelry. Lots of cool looking rocks and other Indian or desert related stuffs. You can find special cowboy clothing here. The price is very reasonable. The person who works here is very helpful, friendly, and polite. The shop is well decorated in this new building in the desert, just a few miles from King of The Hammers. I feel happy being in the store! In the back, there's a room that you can get your massage. Make sure to check it out if you will have time. We were in such a rush to beat traffic to get home. For sure, I will reserve enough time to browse throughout the entire store next time. I'm totally happy finding a gorgeous pair of earrings for my neighbor, Sabrina who is generously caring for my kitty cat Mimi. It's tough to have a business so stop by to support this brand new local place. Tip. Plenty parking in the front of the store. For sure, your rig will get a VIP parking spot! read more

Lovely local shop. The owner-designer is a very friendly girl. A Lot of organic products, nice clothes and accessories.

This is the most expensive store in the entire county. Most everything is found at a second hand store. This girl who own it (I don't know how such a girl got the money) charges $300 plus for dresses and $35 for Candles. The hours are sporadic and I would warn anyone from coming to this store. read more

Take the time to go off the main drag and spend some quality time here at this beautiful little boutique filled with handmade clothes, many repurposed from vintage fabric, blankets and tapestries. Awesome selection of bohemian capes, boots, slippers, hats, jewelry and many other things like creams and cosmetics. The place is decked out with gorgeous Moroccan rugs and lanterns, Indonesian teak day beds and other furniture fashioned from natural elements. Looks like it could b a quaint store inside, however, it was closed. Unfortunately that seems to be the theme in this area. I like shopping local and giving business to independent retailers but thy make it hard if they don't keep the same hours of big box stores. In any case the trip to the store was a disappointment seeing how we didn't get to shop. read more

Moon Wind's store front caught my eye as I was driving along to my next adventure and I just knew I HAD to turn back. Marked by a Crescent Moon, I walked in and was blown away by the unique merchandise. I love that almost all of it is from local artists. The jewelry is unique and the vintage collection is thoughtfully curated. The prices are very reasonable and match the quality of items in the shop! When I returned home, I was still thinking about a little trinket in the store and they shipped it all the way to Nebraska for me! What a sweet place. New eclectic store in the desert. My daughter purchased a gift for me here and I loved it. I wanted to see for myself where it came from and I was not disappointed. The items were displayed perfectly for maximum viewing to enjoy. Healing creams, essential oils, soaps, jewelry and pottery. All handmade by local artisans and close friends of the owner. Not manufactured. The owner is an amazing seamstress so if you're in the market for something made especially for you, ask to see photos of her beautiful work. There are some items made by her in the store. If you're in the market for some true vintage wear but don't appreciate the stores that just "pack it in" making it difficult to look through, take yourself to Moon Wind Trading Co. You will be pleasantly surprised. I love the variety of the things in this quaint store and I will definitely suggest my pals go. I know I will go back. They will now be closed for the season and reopen Labor Day Weekend. read more

Love shopping at Moon Wind and the girls that work there are super friendly. They carry a lot of local art, jewelry, and crafts. Meiki sews her heart out making unique fashions that go well with the Bohemian Scene. I highly recommend this store to anyone traveling through the area as it is worth the stop.
