From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he was fun, knowledgeable, confidence inspiring and very patient. We had little experience as a group and my son (13 years old) is very hesitant to do anything new, but Zach eased him in to repelling and built a rapport and connection to where he was able to overcome his fear. The scenery was beautiful, rugged but doable for all ages (youngest was 9) and this day was one of our absolute favorite of our entire Utah adventure. Absolutely highly recommended! Thank you, Zack!

From that first call, the customer service was excellent. The day before, Zack, our guide reached out directly to introduce himself, confirm our start time, and let us know exactly what to bring. From the moment we met him, Zack MADE the tour. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and attentive, literally anticipating questions my friend had before they even asked them, which instantly made them feel reassured and comfortable. Even though we switched tours last minute, Zack went above and beyond by giving us a taste of the rock climbing experience while still keeping things manageable and fun. He was super flexible in adapting the pace to what we were comfortable with, and I am so glad we ended up choosing canyoneering. It was the perfect balance of adventure, challenge, and fun without feeling overwhelming. To top it off, Zack told us about a local Peach Festival happening in town and even invited us to check it out, which was such a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience feel personal. Overall, this was one of the best tours I have ever been on. If it is your first time in Zion or you are unsure what to book, trust Rock Odysseys and ask for Zack if he is available. You will not regret it!

Forrest struck the perfect balance -- fun, knowledgeable, and great with kids -- so everyone felt completely safe and comfortable while still having an amazing time. Our 9- and 11-year-olds crushed 50-foot rappels and were so proud of themselves. Highly recommend, and we'd book with Forrest and Zion Adventures again without hesitation. We also rented our Narrows gear through them, using the new Virgin location instead of Springdale. It was more convenient for us since we were staying in Hurricane, making it easy to pick up gear the night before. Easy process, and Maile made sure we had everything we needed plus all the info necessary to stay safe on the hike. One tip: if you're not staying in Springdale and are booking a canyoneering tour, book the Virgin location. It's right by Kolob Canyon Road where Lambs Knoll is, so it saves you the drive into Springdale.

Boots and socks were in great shape and dry. Made our hike the best experience yet with having peace of mind that our feet were protected and the walking stick was very handy to have. Makes us think how we ever navigated without it. Return was just as easy. Will rent again. Thanks Gurus!!

Zion Guru Outfitters: We Always Help Our Customers. My wife…read moreand I are retired and real old school. We don't respond to solicitations for completing service solicitations or surveys. That changed during our planning and for when we started our Mighty 5 road trip in Springdale UT with Zion National Park, September 11-13. We needed e-bikes for getting around the ark for 2 days and for gear for the Narrows. After reviewing the local outfitter websites for Zion, and previous customers' Youtubes, we liked what Zion Guru represented. They had a good vibe. It got better. Being new to Zion, to riding ebikes, and hiking in a river, we called with specific questions about all 3 areas. A Zion Guru staff member answered our questions simply, enthusiastically and honestly. Our e-bikes were ready for us on the morning of September 12. The customer attention by each staff member was great and really friendly. When our RV Park could not deliver our shuttle back later that day, Zion Guru said no problem. "We can help. Take your bikes overnight back to your RV park. We'll give you a charged battery now and another when you come back for your Narrows gear." Now for the best! The previous day's orientation on the Narrows and the gear we picked up (neoprene socks, hiking shoes and wooden rod), made for a great and fun experience. It was a blast! We brought our bikes back Sunday afternoon only to find out we couldn't find any way to get to our RV. Our park said can't help you. No public bus, Uber or Lyft or taxi. Shout out to Carson with Zion Guru! He asked his manager for personal time off to drive us the 12 miles back. His manager said you can stay on the clock. "They are customers. We always do what we can to help our customers." This ethic of fun, safety and customer satisfaction, local area knowledge - and staff respect - is why Zion Guru rents more e-bikes than any competitor, and why they deserve your trust and business. I came away looking at this seemingly barren environment knowing there are green pastures and happy cows, birds, reptiles and life on each mesa we pass. I saw large expanses of rocks we could walk on that resembled skate parks, I saw a hummingbird, phlox, blooming cacti, painted flowers, lizards, evergreens, lichen in bright yellows and oranges and views that make your heart stop. He even took us to see petroglyphs and actual dinosaur prints! We came away feeling our thousands of miles trip was worth every hour it took. We highly recommend ZRMG! Sick of your shizz, coronavirus! Initially I wasn't really sure what you expect from a Jeep tour, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fun, off the beaten path experience that we had taking the sunset tour. I was a bit leery of the Jeep and thinking it may or may not break down on a dirt road without cellular signal, but all is well that ends well. The ride was scenic and bumpy and an all around good time. Our tour guide was Zach(Zack?) and he was Ah-mazing. He was a great driver, funny, interesting, informative, and an all around joy to be around for our three hour tour. He shared lots of information on our surroundings, asked a lot of questions about our trip, and made a lot of great recommendations for our stay near Zion. If you can get him as your guide, you'll be in great hands. Overall a lovely time with spectacular views.

Our tour guide, Al, showed us such an amazing experience! He was friendly, patient, funny, knowledgeable of the area, and of course, has tons of stories to share! Super laid back and very professional! Depending on the amount of people you with, the price of canyoneering will decrease. Before you go on the trip, make sure you use the bathroom. The drive up to Lambs Knoll was about 30mins and the hike up was about another 30 mins. Instructions and safety took about 10 mins and next thing you know, you're strapped up and ready to go! With a group of 4, Al made each of us feel comfortable on each course. He didn't rush us off the mountain and even offered to continue on to do more rappelling. If we didn't leave our mom on a souvenir shopping spree for 4 hours, I would've agreed for more! He even made me feel all skinny believing that I can squeeze myself between the slot canyons!! Haha! That was an adventure in and of itself. The Slot Canyons were one of my top 10 things to do while living in Utah and I'm glad I got to see how beautiful it is in person. The pictures below doesn't do any justice to actually being there and touching the walls. Before I wrap up this novel of a review, I have to say that I will definitely come back here and do the narrows. They offered 10% off our next adventure and 10% off apparel.

The NPS recommends to do the hike in a clockwise direction due to the elevation slope at the end of the hike, but I wanted to be contrarian haha. It wasn't bad! I liked how there were some tunnels going through some of the hoodoos, and there were various parts of the trail in the shade and in the sun just by going around the rock formations. It was absolutely beautiful when I went, with great cottony white clouds against an azure sky. Do note that there's no water on the trail, and seasonal pit toilets on Peekaboo Loop, but otherwise no restrooms on this portion of the trail. I spent the morning hiking, and then went back to town for a buffet. I couldn't image hiking on a stuffed stomach.

You can do this hike either clockwise (starting near sunrise viewpoint) or counterclockwise (starting near sunset viewpoint). I was recommended to do it clockwise. There was plenty of parking near sunrise view point, I had no trouble on a Sunday in early April. Took me a couple hours to do the whole thing from start to finish. Overall if you have time for only one hike in Bryce, this is the one I'd rec! You'll see so many iconic and beautiful spots here.
