I absolutely love getting the Grouper fish tacos here(keep in mind some locations do not serve this grouper taco). The location was very easy to access !! Lots of parking ! The cashier was so friendly & the restaurant was extremely clean !

Came with my dad for a quick lunch. Staff was super friendly recommending items and having a positive attitude. Interior was very pretty, nice lighting, and very clean. I ended up ordering the carne asada quesadillas and the fish tacos. Fish tacos were ok, fish felt like it needed a bit more seasoning even with all the fixings on top of it. The carne asada quesadillas were good but something was overpowering, but, not a bad flavor at all despite it. Will definitely come back to try more

The first time I tried coyo tacos was when my work got catering, and it was absolutely delicious. I was obsessed with the Elote and the beef, chicken, and pork were delicious. Perfectly tender and well seasoned. They came with the catering burners and the person who delivered it set it up perfectly. Even though it arrived 45 minutes before I was able to eat it, I still had warm food that wasn't overcooked. I cannot say anything about the ambience because I have not been to the restaurant, but I will talk about the delivery experience. I got delivery through DoorDash and wow, was I disappointed. I opened up the paper bag that came in, and saw a tiny box that contained my two tacos. I mean wow. So small. Itty-bitty itty-bitty itty-bitty for $10. The meat was good. I had asked for a side of sauce and I see none. They're also are no onions. Definitely will stick to my usual taco places really very disappointed.

Went during a Thur afternoon. I was famished when I arrived that I didn't even read they had HH taking place. Take advantage of the great deals on drinks, tacos, and sides. Easy parking. Fantastic staff. And food was amazing. Big portions, so be mindful of your appetite. I had leftovers and took two tacos for dinner. Place hosts a lot of UM students and has ample space for big groups. A+

Coyo taco never fails to impress with the great food, tasty drinks, and a cool atmosphere where you'll always have a nice time. The bartenders are cool and alt and the hosts that take your order are as sweet as the churros! You'll have a blast here and it will not disappoint.

Had a phenomenal time and we always do whenever we go to Coyo Taco. This time around we went to check out their new Rib Eye taco and it was phenomenal! Space is always a vibe and the staff is always awesome and willing to help/answer any questions we have or make recommendations. Quick, fast, easy and DELICIOUS go to spot.

This place is my go to whenever I want great Mexican food and good cocktail drinks. Came here for happy hour that I believe is between 4 PM through 7 PM. They have margaritas specials and I believe beer as well. The drink was perfect and I had no complaints. This is my go to spot for a happy hour in the Gables. I also recommend trying their quesadillas, amazing!

Tasty and consistent. This location was quicker than the others with the food and the sauce station was very well kept. Ample seating inside and a nice bar but the parking is right and right off US1 so it's easy to pass the drive. Overall great experience.

I am not typically a fan of corn tortillas (they do not offer flour tortilla as an alternative, so you have to have corn tortillas), but they were honestly delicious. Their tortillas are made in-house, and they definitely stick to the Mexican culture in that aspect. Wednesday nights, they have their margaritas for $10 (which is pretty much half off). I don't know if it is multiple days, but on Wednesday when I went, they told us about it. They have indoor seating and nice, outdoor patio seating. We sat outside since the weather was nice, and it felt a bit more casual outside than inside. Inside seemed more "fancy" and date night. They also had a mariachi band there too which is always fun and a nice touch. The service was great! And, I think they gave us free shots of tequila because no one from our group admitted to ordering them, and I didn't pay the bill. So, I am unsure. However, tequila shots randomly appeared at our table, and we took them.

A very good friend of ours recommended Talavera as she comes here often. We were greeted nicely by…read morethe hostess by the front entrance and we decided to sit indoors to get a feel for the ambiance which was definitely very nice and beautifully decorated. The place was full with the lunch crowd and they all seemed happy. The music was loud but it was soothing music. The outdoor seating is in the Giralda Plaza next to the restaurant and looked very inviting. Next time! Our server was Ana and she was attentive and helpful. My daughter and I decided to share our dishes. We decided to start with the Queso Fundido Poblano and Tortilla Chips with Guac as our appetizers. The chips were crunchy good and the Queso Fundido was good but was burnt around the edges and could have used more cheese. Our main dishes were the Enchiladas Suizas, which were delicious and perfectly made with suiza sauce to emphasize the flavor. Yummy! We also ordered Quesa Birria, which seemed overcooked and the tortillas were too hard. Since this is considered a Mexican restaurant, for a side dish I asked Ana for red refried beans that I love but I received black bean hummus. I explained to the waiter that I didn't order that and described Mexican refried whole red beans to him. He came back with smashed red beans hummus style, similar to the black bean hummus. I ate a couple of bites and had to push it away. I had my daughter taste it and she didn't like it either. It didnt taste like the ones I was used to all my life. Every restaurant is different so we understand. We chose iced house water to drink because it was early in the day. They leave a bottle of it at your table which was nice. They do have a full bar and I would love to try a classic Margarita there one day. For dessert, we ordered the Tres Leches Chocoabuelitas. One bite each was enough for us and we had to leave it, sorry to say because we love chocolate but this was bitter and not smooth to the taste. I don't know what happened to it but it was not edible. We will have to come here another time to try other dishes. We were there on 01/07/26. There is street parking and we parked a short block away. Entrance to the restaurant is ADA approved.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. Having stayed till closing of two music week events the prior to evenings, this was in my mind a great recovery meal. Despite the name, this restaurant is not just Mexican, but actually fusion with Uruguayan cuisine. The main courses focused on that area, and the tacos had a lot of exotica such as ear and tongue. Given my preferences, and my stomach, the only basic options that I would get were there Al Pastor and chicken tacos, five dollars each. The menu said that they had alcohol, but apparently not on that week, supposedly for some bureaucratic issue. The tacos were served with just the tortilla and the meat, along with a basket of fixings, such as cilantro and line. No complaints of the food really, the tacos were actually well seasoned and for my taste buds made even better with the hot sauce that left a yummy after burn. When I went to the bathroom, the handle on the door was damaged. Besides that, in the end I was not feeling the place especially that there was a mandatory gratuity.
