I was very clear of what I wanted but I had to repeatedly tell him this. I had to keep telling him I was sure of the plan I wanted because he kept insisting I take the higher priced plan. He proceeded to start the process to sign me up, and when he gave me the quote and paperwork, it was made out to the most expensive plan and with a tablet I did not ask for, need, or want along with watches that I also did not want. I told him AGAIN that the plan he kept talking to me about was not the plan I wanted. I wanted the most "affordable" plan they have. I told him to please redo the paperwork to reflect the plan that I told him I wanted over ten times and to take out the tablet and other crap he added that i didn't want. He told me he would not do it for the plan I wanted. This is predatory behavior and I would not recommend anyone come to Verizon. He obviously wanted to make a sale and only cared about the sale and what he needed as an employee. He did not care for me at all as a customer or my needs. He understood exactly what I was asking for and what I wanted. But he decided to ignore me and my needs as a customer so that he could meet his goals. Imagine what he does to elder people or those not knowledgeable with this type of behavior or those who don't pay attention. NOT OKAY!!

Dave arrived with an assistant and quickly diagnosed a weak amplifier up on the antenna. They brought out the 40 ft ladder and had the new amplifier installed in about 30 minutes. That visit was two weeks ago and we haven't had a single missed program since. We continue to be very happy customers of Connect Tech, highly recommending Dave Riollano and his team!

They are desperate to keep customers. For the past few years, we simply call, attempt to cancel (and we are honestly attempting to cancel) and they cut the price for the next year substantially. It's really kind of sad. Since AT&T has gotten involved the service has gone from bad to worse. The only reason we keep it around is for the NFL Sunday Ticket. If you're considering Directv, I'd say don't bother. If you are with them already, give canceling a shot, you might just save some money. Call - Cancel - Get Discount - Stay - Wait a year - Repeat (I gave them 2 stars -- though I wish I could go with negative stars.... my logic is that with the countless 1 star ratings, someone will read this one giving its 100% higher than the average review!!)

We had DirecTV satellite service for several years, then switched to Dish a few years back for a…read more(slightly) lower subscription price. When Dish kept increasing our monthly fee, we decided to switch to DirecTV Stream. After I signed up for the "no-risk" trial of DirecTV Stream, I called Dish to cancel that overlapping service. At that point, Dish transferred me over to a customer retention specialist who made me an offer that we could not refuse. At that point, I signed up with Dish, then called DirecTV to bail out of their service. Good luck! I was beyond their 14-day trial and could not cancel without paying them for the entire 2 year contract. They were holding me hostage. I then called Dish to explain the situation to them and to cancel that service that we had just ordered the day before, and THEY also tried to hold me hostage and expected me to pay for an entire 2 year contact. After threatening Dish with legal action and reminding them that the contract could be revoked within 3 business days, they caved in. So now we are stuck with DirecTV Stream for 2 years. It came with the one Gemini device and remote. We have two TVs, and I was not willing to pay them to lease another remote, so I bought two more online. We have had frequent and recurring problems, where we are watching recorded programming and where an error message suddenly pops up, saying that it has lost our Internet connection (which is total nonsense). The only way to escape this when it happens (error code 10007-013) is for me to restart the device. I had to do this yesterday and again today. So much for "streaming". I called DirecTV when this occurred today, and their technical support was totally useless. She wanted me to reboot my Starlink modem, which is working fine with a dozen other devices in our house, including the other TV. I have also had issues where I have had to totally reprogram one of the Gemini remotes after it kept freezing up. Waiting for this contract to end is worse than waiting for the next election cycle.
