Anyway, I have rented from Leonard realty for the past 2 years (in Harris county) and I really don't have any complaints! The office manager is kind and helpful, and always is a pleasure to talk to. Whenever we had an issue she was our main point of contact and always helped when she could. The rental itself was "as is" when we moved in, so there's a ton of work and repairs that are still needing to be done. However, if you've ever tried to find a rental in HC you know how hard it is to find one, so we went ahead and rented it. We ended up doing some minor updates/repairs ourselves just for livability purposes (replaced broken sink faucet, fixed a few broken cabinets / holes, and also replaced a few door handles). We did have an issue with the AC which is a 1970's model. There's a leak in the roof in the dining room, the microwave handle is broken, along with the glass for the microwave, there's a ton of misc. debris outback from the owners, the bathroom floor is coming up around the tub and the toilet, no screens on any windows, etc. I wanted to post this review prior to our move out because I worry that we will be blamed for the damage/problems because we accepted it "as is" and the realtor that we went through no longer works there. If we end up getting our deposit returned to us, I will update my rating and review to include this and vice versa. Overall, it was difficult at times to get someone to come and make repairs because it's their only rental in the county (the rest are in columbus) but as I said they did the best they could. I have also met the owner of the property and she is a sweet lady!

I told them I'd be away from home at a certain time and asked them to come out before or after that time. Well they call me DURING that time and tell me they are on their way. I am an hour away from home and can't get back. They ask can they reschedule for MONDAY and I tell them NO! We endured the heat for the night, sweating like pigs in a slaughter house. We've got ceiling fans and big desk fans blowing all over the house, but it does absolutely NO GOOD, it's just too humid. I didn't even cook dinner, it was too damn hot! This morning (Saturday) I wake up and my husband is dragging around like a wet sloth, so I decide to call someone else to see who had the best prices and could get out NOW! Called 3 places and one wanted $98 just to come to my house, plus $120 per hour (which they'd probably been dragging their @$$ for at least 3) plus the cost of parts/labor/freon. I get a call back from Dana Wright's and the guy quotes me a reasonable price. Problem was he was booked for the day. He took my address and discovers he's gonna be out this way ANYWAY so he came by, fixed my AC and I paid less than the cost of the other guy showing up! My old AC guy is TOAST! YOU'RE FIRED! He gave us a few repair options at what we thought was reasonable prices. He was here probably another 30 minutes installing the replacement part and checking over the rest of the system. He mentioned the drain pan had some stuff in it. He cleaned it out before he left. I highly recommend Robert and Veteran Air to anyone needing their heat or air looked at.
