When making substitutions for arrangements displayed on the web but not available in their stock, I never felt as though I'd been victimized by a bait and switch -- never. I do wish there had been better correlation between the web and that stock, but equally want to emphasize they did more than a good job across a span of a decade. I can't begin to say how wonderful and helpful the staff at this location of Buds & Blooms has been to me. Planning flowers for my daughter's wedding, they were so helpful to suggest flowers that would work and look lovely in the color she selected. They turned out beautiful. When I had to go in prior to the wedding, to arrange flowers for my husband's funeral, they were on it and telling me they would make sure everything was extra special. They went the extra mile for me, and I can never begin to express how grateful I am for their help and support during a very trying time. Used to be my go-to, but it's not what it used to be. They had a poor selection of three bouquets. I waited and waited but the old guy working there couldn't be bothered to say hello or acknowledge my presence and just chatted away in his phone. Wasted my time so I ended up walking out. They always make sure things are correct and get delivered on time. I have been a recipient as well and their flowers last for a very long time. The designs are correct. Even when we have had issues on the other end of of the transaction they make it right. Even working to find a different florist on the other end that is acceptable. read more

A young lady purchases a boutonnière...it's ONE FLOWER! How do you mess up one flower?? It's the worlds biggest, most open rose--EVER. And the bow is not even CLOSE to what she asked for..."Ya that's all the owner got in...". It's a covid rose shortage?? Can you drive down to Safeway and pick up some appropriate flowers to save yourself a customer and a bad review?? Their excuses were lame, just kept offering a refund when prom is TONIGHT...didn't really care. I've used this business several time. I recently used them for a funeral. I'm so disappointed & embarrassed at what they send only a fraction of what I thought I was buying. The owner told me I could return them for a replacement. How do you take an arrangement from the funeral home & cemetery for an exchange? Sell what you advertise. I do not recommend this florist. read more

I've gone in to the actual shop a few times and bought arrangements and have always liked everything about my purchase. Unfortunately, I ended up with a stalemate when calling in for a delivery. I was told that their Covington shop didn't deliver to the desired address, which is a few miles up the same street IN COVINGTON and was given their Maple Valley store number. I called that store and they told me I needed to call the Covington location. They had no recommendations when I explained that I was just referred to their store from that store, except to tell me that they couldn't do the delivery. read more

I walked in and the arrangements seemed so expensive. I told the lady what I wanted to spend, which is on the lower end. She wasn't overly inviting at first. I was thinking " I should have just gone to Safeway". I told her I wanted some of these and these with some filler, expecting it to cost about 50% more than my original plan. It was the week before Christmas and even though they were slammed, they got a delivery out for me the same day. The last thing they said was they would make the bouquet something special! Covington was wonderful helping me place my order for a funeral service in WA (I'm in CA). I gave them free reign for one of the arrangements with the only instructions being 'it's a Military service' so they designed the red white and blue arrangement on their own. I was very disappointed with the flowers that was delivered to my wife for our 37th anniversary. When I ordered the roses I asked for tight buds with maybe some that had just started to open. The reason I asked for them to be this way is because my wife likes to watch them open up. I have never had a problem with this request before. I have been buying flower from here for over 20 years. This flower shop is awful. BUYER BEWARE. I had flowers delivered to my grandma today for her birthday. My sister took a picture and sent it to me and I am thoroughly disappointed. I even paid extra money to upgrade the bouquet. There are barely any flowers in it, and the ones that are look like they are dying. Also, what flowers? There is so much greenery you can't tell it is even a floral arrangement. I will never buy from here again, not ever. read more
