I felt like I had a sinus infection, bad headache (I never get headaches), sinus pressure, stuffed up, run down, all the symptoms. WellNow is around the corner from me, so it should have been an easy decision. After checking in, I had a short wait and was guided to an exam room. I described my symptoms to the nurse and was told to wait. A few minutes later the nurse practioner, Rebecca, comes in and very brusquely tells me that I have a virus and needed to see a functional medicine doctor because I have mold in my body. Really? I used to get sinus infections all the time when I lived in Texas, and still get them once or twice a year. Rebecca is younger, probably 25, and it's doubtful she spent much time as a nurse seeing patients. Rebecca them throws open the door and tells me "We're done here," stomps out and throws her pen on her desk. I replied "Thank you" and left. I then went to another urgent care where the NP was closer to my age and probably had a lot more experience seeing patients and is willing to listen to them. She said I had a sinus infection and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic. I cannot recommend WellNow with an NP with a bad attitude and unwilling to listen to how a patient feels.

I show up at opening as the only one there and the employee refuses service because they don't want me to lay down, claiming they don't have time for me despite an empty waiting room. I was the first and only one there yet they were nasty and refused to help me. Seems unethical to turn away someone who needs help as a medical professional. Go here if you want to speak to a rude bully that has clearly been smoking weed, who hides in their office after telling you that you're a burden for wanting to simply lay down. One of the worst customer service employees I've ever come across, not to mention the last time they stuck me 6 times before calling in the more experienced employee they had. Definitely not protocol. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Not a viable business at all. Then being called a racist (in the comment below) when I have said nothing about anyone's race is also unprofessional. Smelling like weed is not race specific and you making it about race is prejudiced and unnecessary. It has smelled like that every time I've been there (four times), but that is where my doctor unfortunately had me go. It does not take 1.5 hours you just couldn't do your job the one time and that is not on me. I went elsewhere no thanks to you and was out in 10 minutes no problem. Clearly the problem is with the competence of the employees here. Attempting to shame sick people for their needs who come to you for help is inexcusable and is simply another example of how the employees here do not treat you like a human being. Your need to take up an exam room for 1.5 hours while cuddling your stuffies, covered in your animal hair covered blankets, with multiple ice packs on various parts of your body are why we cannot accommodate your draw. A viable business cannot basically rent out a room for 1.5 hours for your $15 draw. This is not rude, just good business. My guess is you won't find anyone that is able to accommodate you, but I wish you the best of luck. Funny, if it smelled of weed every time you were here, why would you come back over and over again? Instead of looking at bones in my leg and foot as instructed, the radiologist report said it was a "normal MRI of the calf", completely missing a minimum of 2 obvious bone problems even I could recognize. When I complained and asked (at least twice) for my imaging to be read again by a better educated radiologist, I was ignored. I now have 3 separate MDs and a few other medical professionals agreeing that there are fractures and other bone issues shown in those images. Still, I have no new report from them to send along to specialists who might help me surgically, yet they continue to harass me for payment. I'm delayed in getting the care I desperately need because of their incompetence and am now a full time wheelchair user as a result. I wasn't at the time of my imaging, FIVE MONTHS AGO. I even taught these folks about both my conditions and exactly what to look at and why, yet it was all a waste. Why would i need info on my calf when the pain is in my tibia, talus, and calcaneous bones or up behind my kneecap?! There was zero mention of any calf pain from me, but that's where he focused his report. Negligent, ignorant, careless, lazy.
