As a person who takes my cars very seriously I make sure to line up appointments with service professionals before delivery to protect my lease/purchase. The list includes: window tinting, ceramic coating, film kits for vulnerable parts of the car, wheel coatings (BMW and MB brake dust is awful), leather protection (if the vehicle has non black leather). The ceramic coating and film application process is an art and can't just be done by any Tom, Dick or Harry..... If you go to the website for Xpel (the leader in film kits) they can provide you with all of those that have gone through their internal course and continuing education on installation. Cover Up Solutions is the only provider in the entire state of NH to have this designation. This actually means a lot because if something goes wrong with the film, Xpel will back it under warranty and NOT fight you with a denial because the installer was not authorized. Is that worth the price of admission? I was not sure yet....... I called several other installers in the NH and MA/NH boarder area who use a similar product but less "healing" than Xpel and they were all much higher.... I had these services completed a few years back and the cost across the board increased from all service providers. Joe, the owner of Cover Up Solutions was the most in range for the price I paid several years prior and was using high end materials.Why is that you might be wondering? I have the answer and honestly it was one of the main factors that had me very concerned at first.... Cover Up Solutions is based out of the garage of Joe's house and not some fancy garage with 6 bays and massive overhead. I was not sure about leaving a high-end luxury SUV at a "Strangers" house for a few days while the entire process took place. Well, after talking to Xpel and verifying that he is an authorized installer and the qualifications needed I felt a bit more at easy. Joe is able to work on your vehicle at any time of the day and doesn't have to worry about getting home by a certain time. He is home!!! I took a picture of my odometer BEFORE going to the door on the drop off day (he didn't know) and I also activated the manufacturers mobile locate tool to see the location of the vehicle from my smart phone. I am happy to report that the vehicle had ZERO change in the millage and the vehicle never left his driveway/garage. The vehicle looks absolutely amazing and I allowed Joe to try a new product on the windows which is a glass repellent. He had never used it before and the labor took 4x as long as he expected. He NEVER asked me for additional funds because of this added labor. That is a good business person. If someone like myself who is way too serious about the look and upkeep of their car can leave it with a "stranger" for 3 days than you should be ok as well. I spoke to Joe each day and he provided me with updates, pictures, etc. as he progressed. Joe is an artist who cares to express himself through cars. He is a perfectionist and I will without a doubt use him again without any reservation.With that, it closing.... make a reservation because this one man company doesn't hire employees so he is only able to have one or two cars at a time. I never ended up having any work done on my truck at this shop, but I did contact them about an estimate. The estimate they gave me ended up being almost twice as high as other shops I had contacted, so I didn't pursue having them do work on my truck any further. About a week later, they emailed me again asking why I hadn't set up a time yet. I thought this was really strange, so I went ahead and told him why I hadn't contacted them again. The person responding to me email was extremely rude about this and continued to argue with me further. This business is clearly desperate. Joe was extremely unprofessional. Showed up to the appointment and was told that I needed to get my car washed prior to a tint job. It was apparent he overbooked himself and needed to buy time. Other tint shops would clean the windows themselves and do the install with no problem. Car was immaculate and didn't need to be washed As it was washed the day before. since you feel the need to respond...you never even came outside to look at my vehicle as it was flawlessly cleaned prior to arriving. As a business owner you should be accommodating customers and not making excuses. Hence your awful response and defensive attitude towards paying customers. Might I remind you of your response to another paying customer....the following remarks were from you Joe!.... .The only one thats desperate is you, and thats for getting the attention of your fellow yelpers. If you're going to write a negative review and BASH my business, the least you can do is state the truth. First of all... I NEVER asked you why you haven't set up a time yet. I sent you a friendly follow up email because I hadn't heard back from you. Following with potential customers is actually very normal in the business world, so if you think this is something strange well than you must be detached from civilization. Second... You say I was rude? Yes maybe I was a bit rude to you but precisely because of YOUR rude wise ass comment about my $1300.00 price is over the moon and twice as much as the other two so called "Installers" you contacted.  Yeah sorry I dont take those ignorant comments lightly especially when my prices are actually very much in line with the majority of other legitimate installers that do this as a business NOT as a hobby. I then went on and explained that a truck your size would require 6-7 gallons of paint which cost wholesale $400 and the rest is 10-12 hours of labor. You're reply to that was that you could buy 3 gallons of paint (half the required amount) and do it yourself for $200..... Well shit, if you knew all this and can do it yourself then why the hell are you wasting my time in the first place?! Guess what smart guy, 3 gallons of paint ISN'T going to give you proper coverage on your truck!!! Nope... instead it'll get you an extremely thin coating of dip that will peel off in tiny shreds. But I was gonna let you figure that part out first hand since my price was "over the moon". You take more pride in yelping than you do researching your purchase. How about you get your facts straight next time. And I dont work out of a tent in the woods spraying cars half ass for a measly $200-300 profit. No I actually take into consideration the costs of being in business... things like rent, proper insurance coverage, utilities, cost of goods, advertising, oh yeah and lets not forget... my labor for at least 10 hours to properly clean, prep, mask, and painting the car! But Im guessing you wouldn't understand what any of that is like because im pretty sure you aren't self employed! I do see however that you're an "ELITE" Yelper. This is probably the only thing you'll ever be considered being ELITE in your life. The fact that you'd take the time to write negative review THAT ISN'T EVEN ACCURATE - about someones business, says a lot about the type of person that you are. As you can see I've created this page about 3 years ago and there were no other reviews but yours.  And thats because up till now I've never had any customer leave my shop unsatisfied and I've never bothered to ask anyone to write a review for me. Key word being CUSTOMER! Fact is you're not a paying customer and you never were going to be. You're all talk and no action. And now I would like to finish by saying THANK YOU,  because you've actually motivated me to contact all of my customers and ask them to write some honest reviews for me just to shit on your pathetic 1 star 2 cents of a review. Once I get all these honest and great reviews up, it'll create even more leads and sales for me, which will turn this 1 negative  experience into multiple positive and profitable experiences! I came to Joe from a pretty extensive search for a company who could do the type of job worthy of a new GT350 mustang. Joe was helpful and very patient with me and what I wanted to get done. I had quotes out to another large paint protection firm and Joe was able to match what they quoted. Joe spent at least 40 minutes on the phone with me going over options and the benefits and drawbacks to each product or application. I had the following work done to the car. * Remove front Xpel clear wrap from (hood, bumper, roof, doors, and A pillars.) * Remove racing stripes. * Wrap entire car in Suntek satin finish. * Wrap roof in satin black * Wrap mirrors in red * Wrap spoiler and rear deck. * Ceramic coat wheels and small plastics. Mind you that all this was happening when I was overseas for work and I had not made up my mind on doing the roof and mirrors. Joe was constantly sending me pictures to see if I was happy and was patient when I changed my mind every 10 minutes. Actually, when I returned Joe worked with me at his shop until 10:30 at night to make sure I was happy with the crazy color scheme. He has taken the time to answer all my questions and is very passionate about what he does. It's immediately apparent that he loves his job. I would not hesitate to bring another vehicle there for work. I've been to his shop probably 5 different times and each time he has high end vehicles such as Maserati, corvettes, muscle cars etc. This review from Mike G shows he has clearly never owned or had work done in this arena. Wrapping an entire vehicle is hard work and the devil is in the details. Joe has the eye for detail and if by chance you're not 100% happy with some aspect of his work he will make it right. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Cover Up Solution. I had purchased a new Tesla and wanted to take the steps to protect it before any bad habits set in. Having previously owned a black car, I knew first hand how dirt and damage can show if you don't properly care for the car. I emailed Joe to ask about my options and he was super responsive and helpful. He walked me through everything that can be done to the car, what most people do to the car, and every different potential configuration. He was super quick on pricing and telling me what wasn't necessary and what was actually essential. The pricing was fair compared to other estimates that I received, however what set Joe apart was the customer service. An email thread got a bit long and he just called me - unprompted - to discuss, as he wanted to be sure we were both on the same page. He obviously has a passion for what he does - it shows in the work he does - and he just wants to share it with his customers. He sent over a couple of pictures of past jobs he did, including on similar models to mine. When I dropped the car off he actually spent a long time with me showing me other cars that he had just finished working on so that I knew exactly what I would be getting.
