Sponges Mobile Car Wash & Detailing

Picture this: the detailer and the customer (me) dashing around in the final minutes before an…read moreAustin Memorial Day storm, to jump a dead car battery so we could move one freshly detailed car into the sunlight for golden-hour photos before the oncoming rain. That was Roberto from Sponges today. I had hired Sponges because I'm selling two cars immediately. I needed both of them to look showroom-ready for online sale "beauty" photos. Roberto showed up this morning exactly when promised... on Memorial Day... and worked for seven straight hours. Near the end, one of the car batteries drained because the doors had been open for hours during detailing. The detailing itself was top shelf - more than five stars - but what really stayed with me was Roberto's attitude: always a big, reassuring smile on his face, coupled with hard work, professionalism and the kindness of a righteous human being. Getting off my soapbox just to add that booking and paying for the service was easy and took a handful of minutes. Thank you, Richard!

The price however should be adjusted accordingly depending if the vehicle is too dirty or not. In my case the car is kept in the garage 90% of the time and has a full cover on it all the time and it never gets dirty so $95 for a clean car that essentially just needed a quick wash seems a bit overpriced. But I definitely recommend them as you won't regret the results! I would do business in the future!

Just passing thru on a road trip. Saw the reviews but decided to give it a shot anyway. I'm glad I…read moredid. This is the only car wash I've ever been to that actually will take time to pressure wash and scrub before the actual automatic car wash. I only did the $12 option and my car is nice for the drive ahead. Thanks ya'll

Let me start off my saying I HATE leaving negative reviews as I know how much it impacts a…read morebusiness. However, this is directed at Jim Phelps, the GM of Drew's Car Wash. The employees & office staff have been extremely helpful each & every time. Back in Aug. '25 I visited the Wellborn location w/ my 2025 Ford Raptor. Grant you this is a $95,000 truck. Evidently the attendant guided me in crooked, as the truck slowly went sideways. I tried not to freak out & do any abrupt maneuvers to cause damage to my truck. However, it shifted onto the tire shine sprayer & climbed it. I jerked left to avoid any damage. I made it out safely w/ no paint damage etc. I let the techs know what happened as they towel dried my truck. I went on vacation for a couple of weeks & left my truck at home. When I got back home, I noticed my truck had a hard pull to the left on it. I went to the office & the ladies took down my info. Jim called me back the next day, & said he wondered how his equipment got damaged & insisted that there is no way that my alignment could be off. He insisted I get it to Ford to have warrantied out etc & that these Raptors are able to handle severe off-road abuse. Come to find out my alignment was indeed off & I took the $130 receipt to the office & said yall don't have to give me a check, just give me 3 months free or whatever makes sense. Jim called me back the next day & was quite rude, still blaming me & refusing to pay anything. What should I done Jim? Locked up my brakes to break your machine / tracks ? Honk my horn super loudly to get everyone's attn ?? I did the quickest reaction I could think of by holding my steering wheel to the left to not get any more damage. I understand no one is perfect & everyone makes mistakes ( even I do on the daily). However take some ownership in your employees etc Jim. I wasn't trying to seek thousands of damages, just a simple reimbursement of my front end alignment. However your attitude & customer service made me finally write this review & educate the public.

I had heard so much about Buc-ee's online but nothing could have prepared me for this experience. I…read moream a huge fan. Who knew a gas station could offer such a wide assortment of food, merchandise, and home goods? We tried some of the fresh jerky from the counter, some brisket sandwiches (get the XXL one), a banana pudding, pralines, and candied pickle chips. The candied pickle chips were insanely good with the brisket sandwich. We need those in Canada. I have never seen them before and am obsessed. There are so many flavours of jerky. I recommend them all quite frankly. The pralines were good. The banana pudding was more vanilla than banana but it wasn't bad. I just love Buc-ee's and will actively go out of my way to visit in the future.

If you are traveling on the interstate system in the southern US (mainly in Texas) you have seen…read moresigns for this place. As a matter of fact, you start seeing signs more than a hundred miles from each location. What you will find if you get off the interstate at one of these is not just a place, but it's an experience:) The first thing you will find is a parking lot that's as crowded as a major city at rush hour. Then you will find about 120 fueling stations that you can fill your vehicle with usually the cheapest gas/diesel in the area. The newer ones even have electric charging stations. Then you get to go inside. Most of the new stores are about 79,000 square feet of food, beverages, snacks, and all kinds of touristy stuff. The folks working there will greet you and seem to be happy to be there. If you look at some of the sign's advertising for workers, you will see one of the reasons why. Salary at the lowest end starts at about $27 per hour and go all the way up to several hundred thousand dollars for a store director annual salary. If you need to use the facilities, head on back to the back of the store. You walk into a huge bathroom with enough spaces so that you probably will not have to wait. On top of that, the restrooms are so clean! Will I return? Definitely!
