I opted to wait we had a nice conversation and I want to say about 10mins later my glasses were brand new . He was so nice and professional and my repair only cost $20 bucks. I just have to say his craft is rare and you don't find them everywhere so please support his business!! His prices are very reasonable and if you're feeling generous add little extra tip for his service. Thank you so much buzz for making my day!! Till next time .

He is the kindest, most pleasant eye doctor in the world! His entire staff is also very warm, friendly and helpful. The office is also very inviting and comfortable. from the receptionists to the opticians, everyone at this office is very professional and pleasant. They also have a decent number of eyeglass and sunglasses options to choose from. You can also choose any frames that are typically for eyeglasses and have them made into sunglasses and vice versa. The prices are also very competitive. Now back to Dr. Teague,... I cannot sing his praises enough because not only is he the best ophthalmologist in the world. Due to the pandemic, you are required to call and make an appointment, they will not let you in the building without one. Mask are required & sanitizer is spread out throughout the store. Now as far as service goes, the gentleman on the phone who made my appointment was not too friendly and seemed to be in a rush. Maybe they were busy, I get it. Day of my appointment, the one woman who was helping customers had me sit at the same desk as the people who just left (literally), so no sanitation of seating here. I wasn't able to get my glasses because my perception was on my phone. (They do not accept virtual perceptions) But you are allowed to get your prescription faxed to the store. I'm also getting lenses because I have frames I want to use. I think those two things turned the woman helping me off because once I said those things she got up gave me the card to get my prescription faxed & just started walking to the door (mind you I'm still sitting down at the desk) I had more questions to ask. So I got up asked her while she basically escorted me out the store. Then stopped at the door and started telling me more information. Ma'am! Why didn't we just go over all that when we were sitting down. Didn't ask if I had anymore questions or if there was something else she can help me with. I didn't feel like my services were wanted there. It's weird cause I received lenses for my frames here before (frames I did not buy with them again) and the experience was a lot different. I'm now re-thinking my decision and I might go some where else. They get a 3 star for the CDC regulations, but their customer service really needs some work.

I can't say enough good things about Kaluzne Vision Care... they are amazing!…read more I originally selected Dr. Kaluzne and his team because they were the only optometrist in the Winston Salem area to offer Optomap, a digital health picture of your eye that is saved and allows them to compare changes between visits. Well worth the small extra fee. When I first started using contact lenses they included some much needed, hands on lessons on putting them on. They reached out to me a few days later to see how things were going. When they learned I was still struggling they asked me to come back in so they could give me some pointers and practice with them watching. SO helpful! They are dedicated to outstanding customer/patient service. From their overall demeanor to their willingness to help with insurance to their happy personas... they make every visit to the eye doctor a pleasant experience. Their dedication to quality is noticeable as you enter the building too... super clean and well kept with nothing out of place. Twice now I've developed eye infections over the last few years. Both times, despite being on a Friday, they were able to work me in for a quick medical visit and get me prescription drops so I would be good as new by Monday.

I had good impression of this office, but not anymore! We saw Dr. Freshwater and heard good things…read moreabout him, but that was not the case. The exam was not thorough at all. If you say "thorough" if an opinion, here are some facts: 1. The doctor grabbed the wrong contact lenses samples for BOTH eyes! 2. At the checkout, the printed prescription for contact lenses was something else for one of the eyes. 3. When I compared with last year's glasses prescription, Dr. Freshwater's prescription does note anything for the astigmatism for one of the eyes, no axis either. So, talking about "thorough." Does he realize we will pay hundreds of dollars for contact/glasses based on his professional judgement and be stuck with these equipment? If a doctor has lost the heart for patients or feels like he can do routine stuff with his eyes closed, he should not practice anymore. A patient doesn't know technical terms, but a human can feel if a doctor cares or not. He did not even bother to "pretend" to care. His nonchalant demeanor and mistakes all over the places revealed his absent-mindedness. The equipment in the office is also dated, traditional pieces, not advanced new equipment with better technology either. It was a harmless exam process, but we walked away wondering what happened?
