Please read all reviews before doing business with, or even worse leaving your possessions with them. On December 10, I left 4 suede chair cushions at their shop in Darien in order to have an extra slipcover made for each cushion in a different fabric-which I purchased that day at their good goods store. I was quoted $60 per cushion for labor, with a completion date prior to January 3. The woman then said that if I want the work done-they actually had to charge me DOUBLE the quote-$120 per cushion for labor. I agreed only because she guaranteed the return prior to Jan 3. Fast forward today is January 16. My cushions are nowhere. I've heard multiple excuses, from a "broken delivery truck", to "they will be here next week". I was then assured that they would ship them to my alternate address. The inept store manager will not respond to any further correspondence or provide any shipping or tracking information despite her multiple promises to ship my cushions. This is a shady company to say the least. I'm not the first client to report missing merchandise recently under the watch of the "new and improved" staff. Customer service by the owner ARTI MEHTA and her entire staff is NONEXISTENT.

When at the store, I could not find the product and asked an associate for help. The associate was in a completely different department and very busy. However, he stopped, directed me to where the product SHOULD be. Not finding it, he took the time to go to the back storage, again, coming back empty handed. Before I knew it, he had accessed a ladder....went down various aisles, looking in boxes stored high up and labeled with only SKU codes. Still nothing. At this point, I politely let him off the hook by thanking him; but he persisted. After at LEAST 15 mins of dogged searching, the product was found! The associate at the Willow Lawn was named RICK. He very well could have been the manager? I have NEVER EVER seen such dedication to customer care and wanted to take the time to give this review in hopes that someone at that location shares this with him.

The addition of Michaels is fabulous. This was my first time doing an online order for pickup in store. It was SO easy. There's a shelf right when you walk in the store with all of the pickup orders sitting there waiting for you to grab. They also have drive up parking spaces out front which is amazing for those of us with little kids. It's annoying to get them in and out of the car a bunch of times just to grab pick up orders. So, any store that has a drive up option gets my business. My order was packed well and I also found quite a few more things (that I didn't need) that I bought. I don't like this store as much as the W. Broad Street location, but it's still great if you're in the area. The layout is a bit odd, it took me a while to find the party section. That's really my only piece of constructive criticism. Otherwise, great experience.

Friendly staff, great sewing class selection and when they offer sales and promotions, definitely worth it! They know about the machines they sell, and more importantly, if you're looking for a machine they know what you do and don't need. They ask questions and probe for details, and while they make suggestions, if you say you don't need something, they listen. Lots of tools for both sewing and quilting, as well as embroidery, the side walls are always fun to browse.
