Ate here about a month ago- coming around to finally give it my thoughts I had that day. Smashburger - can't believe im saying this but this is the first time that I didn't like the food I ate. The patty tasted off. I was fine afterwards so I'm not sure what's going on there Fries - crispy and was nice. Nothing fancy, just classic fries Milkshake- these were quite good We went on a prime friday night and somehow we were the only ones there. This is before all the snow happened. Also that night they didn't have any heat so it was freezing inside. The waiter/bartender was really nice. All in all, I'm not sure I'll be back here. read more

Popped in on Super Bowl Sunday for lunch and the place was dead. The space is very cool, lots of seating (indoor and out), with a large bar in the center. This building has been multiple businesses during my tenure in Phoenixville, so I came with only good vibes for Cousin's. First off, the space is odd for this business. They offer both table service and counter service, but I feel like they might have *too* much space to know what to do with; not to mention, the bar is unused as this is a dry establishment (Halal). We ordered two single smash burgers and one order of fries to share. All drinks are bottled, including the water. The food came out quick. The burger was no doubt tasty, but it was incredibly greasy. The bun was nearly sopped in grease. The flavor was very good, and fries were above average but they were not very hot. I learned a few days after visiting that Cousin's had a Cease and Desist on their door, from 25 violations identified by the local Health Department (as evidence by public record). Some say this building is cursed. I'm hopeful that Cousin's can pull it together, but time will tell. read more

Ambience was relaxed and casual. They had a beautiful wood bar, but don't serve alcohol. The server staff of three young men were genial and well-mannered. The place has been open for about 3 months, according to the staff. Food tasted pretty good - I ordered the spicy smash burger and my wife ordered the regular smash burger. But it was a very small portion for $10 just for the burger itself - no sides, no value additions, such as a beverage or anything. I devoured the burger pretty quickly, and it's pretty expensive for a quick minute meal. The value just doesn't equivalate with the price paid, especially for a small, slow restaurant such as this one. Overall, it's a nice novelty to visit the first time, but not sure it warrants a second visit. read more

Repeatedly messes up orders. Forgets whole meals. One time we ordered two gluten free burgers and they sent them with regular buns. When we requested a refund, we were only refunded the $2 per GF bun. Even though someone's whole meal was inedible due to gluten allergy. Today we ordered dinner and again, there was an issue, again. The gluten free burger was entirely missing. We also received the wrong fries, which isn't the biggest deal. But missing a whole persons meal? Now one person in our home doesn't have dinner because they forgot an entire burger. The receipt had everything accurate, it's just like they didn't care enough to read the whole thing. Or double check that the order bag had all of the items. And ofc, there's "nothing they can do". Literally just had to check that the bag had the right number of items before sealing it. But because of their laziness, now someone doesn't have dinner. We won't be ordering from Cousins Burgers again. We were willing to give them another shot after the first mistake. But it's clear this is a pattern and it will continue happening. Don't order from here unless you're fine with missing whole meals. read more

We are here from NY and wanted a burger place not too far from our drive and this place came up In our search. Please is quiet today atmosphere is very nice. I bought a chocolate shake which was great ! And a cheeseburger smash burger which again was really good. I did not have it with onions or pickles... that's all I had. Service was fine. The minute you walk in you feel invited. The staff is great. The place is always clean and smells absolutely delicious. The food comes out fresh to order and not from a heat lamp or at least that's what it tastes like. I know the place is known for their burgers but their chicken sandwiches are very good as well. Their wings are extremely flavorful. Ok back to their burgers, I've gotten the traditional smash and I've gotten the heat smash. I love the heat smash with their beef bacon. Above all else, whenever I eat their I never leave feeling lethargic or disgusting. I feel like I ate a good quality meal and got my moneys worth. read more

Ordered via Uber Eats for lunch. Order arrived hot and within 30mins. Double smashburger $13 was excellent. Served on a soft, potato roll (?) bun. No crunchy bun business...just the way I like it. Single serving of fries $4 was a pretty modest portion, but I didn't mind it, but some might have found it way too small. The fries were excellent though! Seemed like they were double fried. Easy to gobble up, and you'll def be fighting over them if you split one order. The chicken tender is literally one chicken tender for $6. I think that's a bit odd. So two chicken tenders would be $12??? Waaat? Won't be getting that there. Not sure the math is mathing on that one with other excellent & normal portion size fried chicken options in town. Though the burger and fries quality is there at Cousins, it seems like some item portion sizes are out of whack here and you get small portions for the cost especially at a fast food type spot. My other fave smashburger in town is at one of the breweries and the price between the two is about the same all in except the atmosphere is arguably different between the two. read more

Ordered a Heat Burger Smashdouble and a Classic Chicken Sandwich both were a huge letdown The Smashdouble was insanely greasy, soggy, and ridiculously small for the $14 price tag. The chicken sandwich was somehow worse tough, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Nearly impossible to chew Definitely not worth the money. Won't be coming back. read more

Good quality beef in the burgers, but it's not enough to make up for all the other shortcomings. Right off the bat, $14 for an à la cart double cheeseburger is ridiculous. The burger was pretty good, but also pretty greasy. Oddly, The only toppings it comes with are onions and pickles, no tomatoes or lettuce. Is there anything more classically American than a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onions? What kind of burger place doesn't have tomatoes at least as an option? I even explicitly asked, and they don't even offer them. It's like having a hotdog joint that doesn't have sauerkraut or relish. The fries are another four dollars for a smallish portion, and they were not fresh. They were the frozen kind that had that weird crispy coating on the outside so they can sit around longer and still be crispy. I ordered one chicken finger out of curiosity, and it was six dollars for one chicken finger. 6!! And, it was so ridiculously dry & overcooked that it was like eating chicken finger jerky. Just terrible. And here I also found another condiment oddity. They have Nashville hot chicken sandwiches like many other places in the area, but do not offer red hot or spicy sauce to put on it. They only have two sauces: both of them are mayonnaise based. So either you get their regular cheeseburger sauce, which is basically McDonald's special sauce., or you can get the spicy version which is the same sauce with a little bit of heat mixed in. Really weird for a hot chicken sandwich place. They only serve local bottled soda , so each one of those was four or five dollars as well. So, a double cheeseburger with fries and a soda will run you around $24, plus tax. So, for a family of four to go out for burgers and fries, it's $100, plus tax and tip. Complete rip off. The service was pretty prompt and friendly, and the location is beautiful inside. I hate to say it, but I don't think this place will last. The parking is terrible, which means they will have to rely on some foot traffic. Though it is technically on bridge Street, this place is on the other side of 29, as if you were going to produce junction. That will dramatically decrease how many people walk to this place. These guys have a lot of work to do. read more

Burger didn't come at all like it was ordered, was good, but small, and comes with no sides for $14! And the loaded fries, were soggy with way 2 much sauce! And the weight staff was literally rushing us out the door, it wasnt even midnight, dont be open till 2am if you arent going to respect your customers time and privacy! read more
