Hairs found all over shower and bath floor ...and bathroom heavily sprayed with Clorox. Otherwise room was very good. Quiet and comfortable and close to good restaurants. Front staff very nice

This was my home for four nights recently and I had a lovely stay here. Here's the tea: Check in was a breeze and the lady gave me lots of info about local favorites as well as directions to the nearest grocery store. Rooms are thoughtfully decorated with nice touches everywhere you look as well as a sound machine alarm clock (big yay). The bed was super comfy and I had a hard time getting out of it to go exploring. Breakfast is not included, but there is a little cafe, which I did not try. There are tons of dining options all around the hotel though if you have a car-and if you do parking is free. I did not utilize the indoor pool or hot tub, but we did sit around the fire pit a few nights and that was pretty awesome. Pack marshmallows! I'd recommend you stay here. I know I'll be back!

Overnight stay while traveling along I-10: Had 2 rooms at the Fairfield, but one was moved to this location next door. Check in was fine as she had to create my profile since I wasn't originally a guest there and my pre-payment wasn't automatically transferred. Cust Service st desk: 5 Room was a king with a sofa. Plenty of room with desk, table, wardrobe, tv, microwave, refrigerator. Bath was large with mini wall separating the toilet from the sink (in other words, you could not see the toilet if you were brushing your teeth (nice design touch)). Room: 4 I did not have a meal so cannot comment on food options. Bistro does have Starbucks brand drinks. Bistro area had plenty of seating. Fitness area (with a few machines) and pool area were neat and kept. Location: 5 Will stay again.

New washer and dryer. $1.50 for wash. $1 for 30 minutes of drying. Commercial capacity.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for ten days after our neighbor burglarized and set fire to our home 3 days before Christmas. The business center was very convenient since my laptop was stolen. I like that they have a bistro serving Star Bucks coffee with room rate of $79 versus $129 at the Hampton with daily hot breakfast buffet. I never eat $50 for breakfast. We enjoyed Caramel Macchiato lattes everyday and the French toast was very good. The staff learned of our story and treated us like family. They have a great crew and I would stay there again when I'm next running from a hurricane.

That's some customer service mindset. - I call for tissues since our room ran out, they say I have to come get it. Um...? I think gone are the days where customers have to fulfill staff roles due to COVID. - Room feels dark, the lighting doesn't help much. Doesn't feel cozy, just dampened. - Housekeeping on building property seem minimal, you can spot it around the communal areas, such as the bug stains (aka dead) on the entrance doors. Imagine the rooms. - Breakfasts was okay, it was hot food but rather have scrambled than pre-made omelets. Overall, not great or terrible, but not worth the high ratings I saw across the board amongst various accomodation sites - perhaps once it was but unsure of the current status as when we were visiting.

It was 28 MAR 2024, and the family and I were on a quick 3-day, 2-night trip to Alabama to take our son to OWA amusement park & indoor water park. Located on the north side of Interstate 10 in Spanish Fort, Alabama , this hotel is not very conveniently located for beach travelers going to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. But I was able to use my Marriott points for a 2-night stay, so not having to pay anything, made the commute worth it. Other than the Bass Pro Shop, there's not much around with the exception of the Courtyard Inn next door. The hotel front desk personnel were very nice. However, Catherine, was the kindest front desk clerk we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! She should be commended for her excellent customer service. Like most Marriott's, the hotel is well maintained, as the lobby, fitness center and rooms were all clean. I did not actually use the fitness center on this trip either, but I did check it out. Our room was a little on the small side with only 2 full-sized beds, but hey, we didn't pay anything. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub, and we actually spent quite some time in them both. The pool and pool area were clean and there were lots of towels available. The Continental breakfast here is very popular. There's a decent selection of cereals, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bagels, oatmeal and a pretty good coffee bar. There is also plenty of free parking outside. All in all I had a very good stay here.

I average around 100 Marriott nights a year around the world, and this is absolutely in my top 10 favorite properties and maybe in the top five. I wish the Trellis room (restaurant) was open for dinner on weekends, that would be my only feedback. Management does a great job ensuring the property is clean and safe, as well as ensuring well trained and courteous staff.

Sadly the print was so small, I not only had to put on glasses, but I also had to take a picture of the print to figure out how to turn the device off. It appears to have a heavy duty, braided cable that can't be pulled from the wall. If I had my choice, I would take a room without any electronics. After all, I can do everything I need from my cell phone. Ugh! My stay here was short. The room was on par with the average Best Western offering the basic amenities of a private bathroom, bed, desk and chair. Breakfast was available in the morning. I am not exaggerating, it literally made my head hurt. We got into our room and the smell was a little better but still SO strong. We opened up the room and turned on the AC (in winter) to try to get the smell out. I always carry air freshener when we travel and tried that as well. The room looked fine (see photos) but it just wasn't cleaned well, which you can't really tell from pictures. The smell never went away and actually started getting worse later in the evening. I laid down because of my headache and luckily fell asleep so I didn't have to endure it anymore. It's ironic that they have a placard in the room about this. I added a photo of that too and because it's so close up, you get an idea of the cleanliness of the room as well. It got us through the night but it was not a comfortable stay and we left as soon as I showered in the morning.
