Omg can we say beautiful in its own unique way!! I was so overwhelmed, I didn't get all the pictures I wanted. They offer velvet parking, I parked in the parking lot directly across the street and did 24hr parking. The staff was very professional and nice. They had a doorman, cute. This hotel is like a art museum, everywhere you look you'll see something eye catching. I found my jaw dropping over and over again. The room was so cute!!! The colors, the artwork, decor all just great. The room was clean. Bathroom kind of small but easy to move around in. The bed was very comfortable, I didn't wake up with any aches and pains, like some beds have caused me. There is a restaurant on site, didn't eat there but it was smelling real good as we passed by. The lounge and bar area just gorgeous! I wish we were there longer, so I could have explored more. We were there for a show, so it was a overnight stay. I'd highly recommend this hotel based off my half a day stay, so you have to believe it is and was so, so good to me.

The second you walk into the hotel room it smells like cat pee and mildew/mold.... Within 10 minutes of being in the room my throat felt tight and my face was itching, so I knew it was mold/mildew. I started looking around and the place was filthy... I still feel sick 12 hours after checking out. Could not get a good night's rest because I was so worried about the filth I was breathing in....

    This is the bar area.

This is one of the most amazing hotel experiences for me in a long time. The staff were very helpful & attentive. The decorations were over-the-top fun. Special shout-out to Chris & Kennedy at the front desk !! The spice cookies were a nice touch.

I had such a great experience at the Admiral Hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Katie at the front desk. She was so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, making check-in super easy and stress-free. She also gave some great recommendations for things to do in the area. You can tell she really cares about making sure guests have a great stay. If you're staying here, you're in good hands with Katie!

    Checking in!

After checking and we entered our room ( to our surprise) the bed looked as it was just used....not for sleeping! We immediately returned to the front desk and explained to the gentleman about the bed and provided a photo of the bed. He apologized and moved us to another room. Besides that, lobby is very nice, the decor is pretty. Our room however, seems a bit dated. The bathroom is roomy however, no countertops! I think a few upgrades, through room service, this will be a gem.

Went for a Memorial Day weekend getaway, away from the beach crowds, decided on downtown Mobile. We needed a pet friendly hotel, close to all the restaurants and bars. Absolutely loved our stay. Love the pool area, even though you on on a busy city street, it is private, the Astro turf around the chairs is great. You must also visit Corner 251- for a mid afternoon or nighttime drink. Shelly, John Luke and Craig are not only friendly, helpful and knowledgeable- they are great to chat with. Everyone in the hotel including the valet guys were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

The Admiral was a wonderful port in a freighting storm. We were traveling to Florida during the June 18th Tropical Storm Claudette and thankfully had reservations. After check-in, we stopped by Corner 251 Café and ordered burgers & salads for dinner that we took to our room. The room was Wyndham elegant, and the hotel architecture just beautiful. The following morning I enjoyed chatting with the nicest gentleman whose name is Harry, and the Wyndham employee responsible to manage the breakfast station. I was not the only one who was enjoying the company of Harry, as a group conversation centered around the looming weather. The group consensus was to try and stay to wait out the storm rather than leaving right away. Which is what we did. The Wyndham was able to provide a late check-out which allowed us to miss much of the storm. Please tell Harry I, and the other travelers really enjoyed getting to know him a little bit - although he was always on task and working never missing a step. If only he was allowed to sit and chat with guests, what a pleasure that would be! Harry seems to be a fixture, I'll guess he has been with this establishment a few years! Again, thanks for the lovely accommodations and hospitality. We will return here on our next trip, and I hope Harry is working that day!

The check-in and valet staff as well as the Bell staff are always very friendly and attentive. On our last day, the Bell stand went out of their way to assist us up to the room. Again, very friendly and helpful. This is a clean and safe property. It is my preferred hotel when I stay in downtown Mobile. I average around 100 Marriott nights a year around the world, and this is absolutely in my top 10 favorite properties and maybe in the top five. I wish the Trellis room (restaurant) was open for dinner on weekends, that would be my only feedback. Management does a great job ensuring the property is clean and safe, as well as ensuring well trained and courteous staff.

I was willing to wait a little longer for them. However it was 8:30am and I still had not received fresh towels. I decided to email management. I did not have the manager's email, so I went to the front desk to ask. I asked the front desk receptionist Mark if Hiral Patel was the manager, because I saw the name tag on the wall. His response was very hostile and aggressive towards me. His response to my question caused me to feel that he would physically harm me. That is when I decided to record him. The only thing that I asked him was if Hiral Patel was the manager. Mark responded and said "That is the only person that you need to talk to tomorrow." He had no manners or respect for me. I then told him that I did not receive clean towels by 8:00am ; because that is when the audit employee at the front desk told me they would come. He continued to raise his voice at me and he also called Alabama Protection Agency to escort me from the property. The Protection officer was holding his gun holster, as I was in the hotel room preparing to leave, and also in the elevator. I thought that he may have wanted to shoot me. I was non-confrontational the entire time of this situation ( I have recording of every interaction I have made with employees and staff).

I checked all my hotel apps and found this Marriot Property that was highly rated and affordable for the price. The hotel looked newer and the rooms looked very modern and clean. Check-in was seamless and I found myself in a very large room. The room was set up perfectly for a business traveller. The room had USB and electrical outlets strategically placed so there were ample areas to plug in my devices. The wifi was easy to connect to and had a very strong signal, perfect for connecting through a VPN or Firewall while still being able to connect to my streaming services. The room itself was very spacious, well decorated and almost a full-sized kitchen. My bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep every night I was there. The property has many areas where guests can socialize and connect on the first floor if they don't want to just stay in their rooms. The lobby was bright with an array of tables and chairs to relax and connect to your devices. The Fitness center was above average and had a very good assortment of fitness equipment including free weights, exercise balls and multiple cardio machines. You can get a good workout in the gym. The food served at breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold items, healthy choices and of course plenty of pastries, baked goods and very good coffee. This was the perfect location for being close to customers, and restaurants and for travelling in the area and into Mobile. I would put this hotel high on my list for future visits to the Mobile area. The only critique I have is that the rooms are very large and the TVs in the main area and the bedrooms are very small.

First up, the good: the room was clean, our room had a nice view, and the location was great; it's within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars and it's easy to get on and off the highway. The service at check in and check out was also very good. The so so: The beds were hard, but not altogether uncomfortable. The shower pressure was also just okay and it would have been a lot nicer if the pressure was better, but it's not a deal breaker for a trip. Now the bad: the service at breakfast and at the hotel bar was downright atrocious and remarkably slow for a fairly quiet weekend. It took us almost 30 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them at the bar and it took almost 45 minutes to get breakfast on a Sunday morning, which is unacceptable. The service at the wedding reception was also very poor and disorganized as if the staff weren't used to serving people in large groups. The food at the wedding reception was very hit or miss as some people really enjoyed their food while others (including myself) had dry and hard salmon, which was unpalatable. This is unfortunately not a place that we'd frequent again and we'd look elsewhere if staying in downtown Mobile again.
