We decided to stay here for one night. Check-in and check-out, seamless since we used the Digital Key. The property offers plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and offers a minimal feel and very "straight forward." The bed was comfortable and we were able to sign-in to apps on the TV without issues. I prefer a refrigerator and microwave but for this trip the refrigerator was enough. The only hiccup was no soap in the shower but we travel with the basics just in case. They do offer free coffee, cocoa and snacks for purchase. Nice stay overall. read more

I had a nice one night stay here while in town for work. The hotel is clean and modern, staff were friendly and helpful at check in. I liked the whiteboard by the elevators outlining some local favorites - which is perfect for people passing through. Overall a good experience, however the bed was not as comfortable compared to some other Hilton properties I've stayed in at the same price-point. Otherwise a very positive experience. read more

Just checked in and this place is AWESOME! Dog friendly and all the rooms have NO CARPET - BONUS when you have puppies! Huge TV, walk in shower, and great products. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a pool table, a small gym, ice machine & water dispenser. They also offer a little market with snacks and beverages. Complimentary cookies at check in. FULL BREAKFAST each morning...scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, breakfast meats, a pancake machine (hello Jetson's!), breakfast breads/muffins, oatmeal w tons of toppings, cereals, yogurt, fruit and more. Friday is absolutely incredible!! Right now, during this snowstorm, she is going above and beyond to take care of every guest. With everything around us closed, including gas stations, she has made sure everyone has food and feels taken care of. For me, Friday just did something amazing by calling in a favor with a nearby Hilton location so I could get my laundry done during my extended business stay. She is making sure we don't just feel comfortable but feel at home. True by Hilton is more than lucky to have Friday leading the way. I enjoyed my stay here. Check in was quick and friendly. I checked in just after 8pm having made reservations some 8 hours prior while still a couple of states away via the Hilton Honors App (BTW, this App really makes hotel reservations a breeze). I was pleasantly surprised by, and accepted, their complimentary cookies before heading to my room. I found the accommodations clean and comfortable. The bed was firm yet relaxing. The a/c worked wonderfully, the hot water was hot, and from the time I laid my head on my pillow until I got up the next morning at 5:20am, I never heard any hallway or adjacent room noise. Checkout was quickly executed in my room by my Hilton Honors App, and I left my key cards at the front desk as I departed. Breakfast was available but I wasn't in the mood for eating and yielded only to a cup of their coffee (which is something I hope they improve on in the future - not bad, just not great). Overall this was a very positive experience with friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again and if you're looking for a quiet, clean place to stay while on the road, I recommend you check this place out. read more

Really like the vibe and feel of this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. Walked into the room and nothing wrong and everything was clean (which isn't always the case is a lot of hotels). Bed was comfy and many pillows to choose from which is nice. The breakfast was legit and definitely hit a home run with it. Ate a lot before I got back in the road, so definitely an A+. A minimalist gem of a hotel hidden off of Satchel Page Drive - Tru is truly beautiful. The staff is friendly and warm, just like the lobby area. There's always coffee and muffins, and even some actual food choices from the little greeting hub. There's a pool table and board games, and super comfy work stations. My room is a beautiful, minimalistic design, with complete access throughout. As a wheelchair user, this is always a concern - can I get to everywhere in the room without risking a fall or bodily damage. I absolutely can in this accessible room. Even the minute details have been considered - the thermostat is at my level, the sink has a cutout so I can wheel up close to it. read more

The king size bed platform probably cost more than the actual mattress, there are lights on all night (small red ones from the electronics or the flashing white fire light or the bright light that is in the bathroom.) Either way the bed looked clean but my bathroom shower had hair all on the walls (literally looked like some lady shaved her legs and knocked the razor on the wall) the woman running the lobby was dead asleep in the corner of the lobby when I came down at 3 am because I'd gotten a headache from the thin mattress and decided to quit attempting sleeping. I will not be staying at another one of these hotels. (FYI I didn't book this trip this time but lesson learned for life) I'll be back with more review later. read more

Definitely a brand new hotel and concepts! It's fun, hip, and great for everyone. The room is minimalist design and modern. Perfect for solo business travel or couples. I stayed in the king size room and it would have been too small for a family (unless you're bringing your own pack n play). Didn't see the double queen room, so I can't comment on it. Staff on night and morning shift were polite and friendly. The soap and shampoo/conditioner smell amazing. The sheets on the bed were buttery soft. Free hot breakfast was great too. I had a nice stay, everyone in the front was nice and helpful. The area was very quite. I felt safe, I brought my daughter. Just ask for housekeeping items at the front desk because they no longer keep them in rooms due to covid, which is understandable. They offer breakfast but I did not check it out. There is a plethora of stores and restaurants and Starbucks in the area. So the location is great. If I had to come back. I'd choose this location again. read more

Very satisfied with this place. They didn't need a credit card to hold the room cause we were 20 mins away they are pet friendly and didn't give me any trouble checking in with my emotional service animal. Even gave us a little doggy welcome gift bag. Free breakfast. Super clean rooms with great soap. Fast WiFi and check in took literally 3 mins to do. I had come from another hotel with hidden fees a deposit they failed to mention $150 bucks for a $70 room and i had to fill out a bunch of paperwork. Coming to tru was so easy and a true blessing after a very long day on the road. And a frustrating time with another hotel. Will be looking for these all over from now on worth every penny (wasn't even that much!) read more

$315 for one night. What a bunch of crooks. I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I must say that I found the hotel to be overpriced and not worth the cost. Despite the high price tag, I found the amenities and services to be lackluster and not up to par with other hotels in the same price range. A newer hotel smack in the middle of retail world. Everything you could possibly need conveniently located to the hotel. Tru hotels are definitely after the millennials. Made to look like a dorm room with an activities area. It's perfect for a one night stay, but for longer visits, I need a bit more room. The air conditioning worked well. Staff wasn't friendly, the rooms are small. The beds are platform beds and no matter what you caught your leg on them either walking by or when you get up in the middle of the night. Breakfast is limited. Says ut was full breakfast but choices were slim. read more

OMG!!!! What a nightmare! 5/7/2022 Mother's Day weekend. It's like a frat house on every floor. Kids running up and down the hallways screaming and jumping. Front desk personnel unable OR unwilling to do anything about it. If large parties want to book 90% of a hotel for their excursion, the hotel should not book the remaining 10%. That is inconsiderate to the people NOT part of that giant group. Others need to sleep. Definitely, going to calling corporate for a refund or cancel my payment. Either way, a guest should not be liable for conditions LESS than comfortable for 150 a night! read more

We stayed at Tru 4 nights ago and the experience was so good, we stayed again on our return trip last night. Every employee we interacted with was excellent, friendly and helpful. From check in to check out it was a pleasure interacting with each employee. The rooms were clean and obviously the cleaning standards were raised due to the pandemic. Interesting that the doors to the rooms were sealed after they were cleaned. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Mobile. read more

We stopped here on our way across country. The front desk attendant was super nice. The front area was nice and clean. We were given free water and there is free breakfast that starts at 730. The room is modern with wifi and nice shampoo. Overall I will probably stay here on the way back home! It's also in a good area with eateries and shopping very close by! read more

It was all good! The decor was a bit strange for this senior couple - but the room, bathroom & shower were very clean. The layout of the room worked great, loved the long bench for luggage etc. And the pegs for clothes & jackets... so practical. Definitely stay there again! And Breakfast! Hadn't intended to stay here (wasn't familiar with the brand) but would again. Showed up at holiday inn express mobile/saraland after 14 hours in car at about 11 pm and was told people quit and rooms weren't cleaned: my room was given away to someone who'd had a further in advance reservation. That hotel chain has a policy- if your reservation isn't honored, they will find you another hotel and pay for it. They said no and left me to fend for myself in a strange Cory in the middle of the night. Their hq essentially says not their problem bc I ultimately didn't stay at their brand (I tried!). The city was full. Called around for 3 hours. This hotel (Tru) found a room and it was clean, new, wonderful and they held it d'or me to drive to them. ALL the staff were friendly in middle of night and am. Fd clerk was even going to make me fresher coffee for the road. Next time I will book here first without even comparing with anywhere else. If you have a trailer of any size they won't let you park at the hotel at all. I was dead tired after driving hours and got to the hotel around 1 am the front desk guy told me I had to park about a half mike away in a dark parking lot behind another hotel. I told him absolutely not and parked at the hotel anyway. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. It's pretty sad they told me I had to park that far away and walk back with all my bags at 1 am in the dark. Totally unprofessional read more
