An ok hotel. A good one by Marriott standards. And, clean. The shower water pressure was very refreshing. There is ample parking. It is close to DC, and easy access to i-395. There were a couple hundred children staying there, but the rooms are still very quiet. The rooms were reasonably priced for my stay. And, the staff was mostly friendly and helpful. read more

The Courtyard by Marriott - Springfield is situated in a prime location, off the crossroads of the I-95 and I-395 in the obvious area of Springfield, making it an ideal lodging option if you're in town whether for business or leisure. I selected the Courtyard by Marriott - Springfield location for a business trip at Fort Belvoir. For starters, the commute from the hotel to base (to the Kingman Gate) or the Mosby Center was on average 10 minutes, 20 minutes tops during rush hour. While there were multiple routes that were available, the fact that work was literally a "straight" shot (leaving onto Commerce which turns into Loisdale, and taking only one turn from Loisdale Road onto Fairfax County Parkway [286]) from the hotel was one less thing to stress about. From DCA (Reagan International), you're looking at an average 20-30 minute travel time, with Alexandria/Old Town Alexandria being about the same travel time (during non-peak hours). Some renovations were being completed during my stay to which I applaud since the hotel was able to manage pretty well considering the projects barely interrupted or impacted any of my convenience. With that being said, the age of the hotel and rooms are somewhat evident. Despite this, it seems like it does a great job at with the upkeep. The main lobby is rather open which opens up further to a larger, inviting lounge area with the in-house bar and cafe immediately to the right. These areas appear well-kept and clean. Other communal amenities include a small store for basic needs next to the reception desks, gym, and pool. Exiting the lounge to the back and outside of the hotel, you will find an improved courtyard with several seats and gas firepit. During my stay, I utilized all these amenities except for the pool. Despite its size, I was surprised at how robust the hotel gym was. I was able to get more than a decent workout with what they had available. For those inquiring, kettlebells, dumbbells, and medicine balls compose the available free weights - the heaviest kettle bell is at 35 lbs, the heaviest dumbbell set is at 50, and medicine ball at 8 lbs. There are two adjustable benches from flat to incline. There is a cable machine - there are minimal accessories for this however. There are also cardio machines - treads and bikes. There are some towels, but the availability depended on usage as they don't seem to get replaced often. What is also nice about the gym is that there is a water fountain with a bottle filler option (do not rely on the cups provided as you'll get wet from this). Overall, great gym for what its worth. My coworkers and I came in the early week of December. Needless to say, the weather was not permissive to sit outside for an extended period of time. Regardless, there was a night or two where I was able to sit out back and enjoy a nice cigar. The staff was helpful and nice enough to turn the fire pit on for us upon our request which made our time more enjoyable. For food, there were plenty of options nearby where I did not eat dinner at the hotel. However, I did use the breakfast vouchers which were included in my stay. Compared to other hotels where there is a light continental spread for breakfast, the Courtyard breakfast is a la carte and made to order. While different, the breakfast burritos and coffee definitely were a great start to the morning each day. All in all, I had a great stay at the Courtyard by Marriott - Springfield, and would recommend to anyone TDY to Belvoir or visiting the general National Capitol Region area. read more

Let me start by saying I'm a lifetime silver and getting very close to lifetime gold status. I bring that up because I stay in a lot of Marriotts (almost 400 nights on my own and probably another 1,000+ for work where I don't get to keep the award nights). This is easily a top 3 WORST experience I've ever had at a Marriott. Check in: the lady at the desk was cold and barely even acknowledged my existence. Not a word about being a good member or lifetime status member. The pool was closed. We had a very large group and part of why we chose this hotel was for the pool so the kids could play in it. Not a single word at check in about it being closed, not was it on the website or in an email. Simply unacceptable. There was an extremely large group or groups of teenage kids there for DC tours or sporting events. The hallways were extremely loud ALL night long and made it impossible to sleep. If your hotel knows about these large groups (and they know exactly how many there are) they should be placing them in one area, together, away from everyone else so families and travelers can get rest. Putting all these kids and groups around families is begging for disaster. Simply unacceptable. My room was next to a busy street and ALL night long I could hear cars going by, another reason I didn't get much sleep during my stay. My room smoke detector was beeping all night long, when it started I called down to the front desk and the phone rang for 10 minutes and yet no one picked it up. I went down to find the front desk worker and no one was around, even after I waited about 10 minutes. The next day I told the workers at the front desk about the beeping and asked for it to be fixed. When I returned to my room that night the beeping was still there. Completely unacceptable to not fix that after being asked to. The fire alarm went off at 630am, waking every person and forcing us to go outside where it was freezing temperatures. After we finally got back inside we were told it was just a false alarm, not someone pulling the alarm. Our family has a special needs child and he was absolutely terrified the rest of the trip, he kept asking if we were going to die in a fire because of the fire alarm. The rooms are old and outdated, we had one room where the wall paper was falling off the walls all over the place. My pillows were terrible, they had different styles but none of them provided any kind of softness or comfort. I am still looking for the managers direct email, I am demanding my points be returned to me for this stay, it was truly a terrible experience from the time I steeped onto that property. This hotel should be stripped of the Marriott name because it completely ruins the brand. read more

Courtyard Marriott Springfield, VA This an impressive hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a Marriott brand. The hotel is dated however has character. I do miss keyless entry and contactless check in.The onsite restaurant "Bistro" is servings some really good breakfast. Check-in: check in was effortlessly, we arrived late that evening and had to wait to be buzzed in. Room: Spacious room with good working air conditioning. House keepers were friendly and accommodating with exchange of towels and the amount of trash we left at the door. Amenities: onsite restaurant, full bar, gym, laundry business center, meeting rooms and friendly staff. read more

My Nanna and I traveled from Ohio to see our relatives and decided to stay at the Marriott. First I want to say parking was originally $15 dollars a night and the clerk said it was because of competitive parking. Okay I can understand if we came during a time where events were held but that was not the case he did knock $5 off the parking. The parking lot horrible plenty of potholes. When finally arriving to the room, we've noticed the windows were really dirty. The window seal was peeling off and holes in the screen. What we thought was odd is that there was a sign up in the bathroom that said to reuse towels... I have never seen that in a hotel. Pen marks were on the wall beside the bed. The pullout bed was not thoroughly clean. There were popcorn kernels at the bottom . The water only got hot one out of the three nights we stayed here the rest of the time it was lukewarm. The pool looked very unkept and dirty. We expected far more better considering this is a Marriott Hotel. The best thing I'm my opinion was the courtyard well lit the fire pit was comfy and staff were pleasant. Sad to say that the Marriott will not be a place we consider next time we come back in town read more

Room was very clean, we liked the coffee machine instead of Keurig. No microwave, little fridge. Basic Queen size with sofa and a desk. Tiny soap at the sink. TV remote not working. Took five trips downstairs to main desk to switch remote, then have someone come up because the TV was still not coming on. The desk phone - no one answers, constant busy signal (we were on 4th fl). Nice fellow worked on the connections behind it, finally got it working. So, we went to sleep, and there is no way to shut off the GLOW from the screen with the remote! We just turned it towards the window and I used my sleep mask. The lighting: Very dim, although there were plenty of light switches and lamps. Downstairs, there is a Starbucks Coffee with Bistro. Food is decent, but I was very disappointed twice because they stated that Cappucino machine not working, no almond milk available (food allergies). None available next day either. I was handed my coffee (extra large, when I asked for a small). The day before I had to go up to counter and demand that I have my coffee NOW - they take up to 25 mins prepaing food and serve coffee at time of meal (handed a number). Not crowded, I don't understand this practice. Food was delicious, except for the steel cut oatmeal. Bland, mushy and gummy, with a tablespoon of blueberries. No idea what kind of "maple syrup" so I did not use it. Bottled water available for purchase, very cheap brand and expensive. Shower was wonderful, very good pressure. The place was adequate, but sort of low end for a Marriott. Not bad for overnight stay but more than that I'll look for something else, perhaps in Alexandria nearby. read more

We stayed for 2 nights with a large party of Elementary Safety Patrol students ready to tour DC. We were all checked in within minutes and headed to our rooms soon after. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was served each morning with great choices liked by our students. There was also a Starbucks in the lobby which was a plus for many of our girls. Staff was wonderful with our students, definitely recommended! read more

This is an older Marriott property, but I'm glad I chose it while stopping over in Springfield. I like the location, the parking, the friendly staff. They do a good job with breakfast here. The rooms are fine. Prefer they address the chlorine smell on the first floor near elevators that permeates from the pool area. Don't miss Mikes American restaurant, just a 4 or 5 minute drive away. read more

I stayed here for a week in late November. My wife joined me for the weekend. If the front parking lot is full, then there are parking spaces all around the hotel. The room was comfortable and most equipment worked well. No free breakfast. I would appreciate free hot drinks in the lobby. Some staff were attentive. A young Indian-American man at the front desk was very helpful! So was the lady working breakfast. But quite often, there was no-one at the front desk or bar. The woman working the bar in the evening was usually elsewhere. We often waited more than ten minutes for her to turn up, to take our order or to pay for food read more

This particular hotel is in a great location with it's easy access to several major highways. For that same reason, there are 6 other major hotel chains within walking distance from this Courtyard. Location is great, but same can be said for all the others a few feet away. I would say location is a wash for that reason. Strangely, in general, the hotels in this area really suck. Not sure why, but none of them are really anything to write home about. And yes I've stayed at them all, so I can tell you honestly, none of them are great, one Hilton has the worst staff ever, another Hilton has the best, overall I wouldn't get amped about any of them. To this Courtyard's credit, I've stayed here more times than I have any of the surrounding options. They are one of only two options out of the immediate surrounding area that hasn't had a recent bed bug report... at least not last time I checked! Huge props on that- bed bugs are a horror story and a frequent traveler's top-5 nightmares. On the other hand, that is the sole reason I select this one. Unfortunately, they've managed to continue to go further and further downhill even in the last year alone. I've been here several times in the last 12 months both for work and with my spouse. The customer service has nose dived- particularly with their supervisor/ manager staff. The front guest staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else on Earth (probably for the reason I just mentioned.) It stinks, amenities are always broken, they took out microwaves and don't even have coffee in the lobby. One recent room had an overpowering mold smell. Worst was recent experience with a female travel companion. There's been "updates" going on for 5 months *nothing looks different, but you get the pleasure of waking up to construction noise right outside your room every day* The men working on site are degenerates. My female companion was walking to our car, and 3 of them yelled things at her in Spanish that were inappropriate, foul and unacceptable. Maybe they thought we wouldn't understand Spanish, but that is no excuse. We also had a room on the 2nd floor, and quickly noticed that the construction crew "happened" to start working directly at the window. It was so disturbing we left early and found a MUCH nicer place in DC for less than $50 more a night. Well worth it. read more

We stayed here while attending a basketball tournament. It was very close to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants. The pool was closed, which was a bummer for my son. The room was gross and dirty. There was hair everywhere. The toilet wouldn't flush & when we called the front desk, they said the maintenance guy had just left. Ummm, ok. We tried our best to spend as much time away from that room as possible because it was truly disgusting. For the price we paid, I expected much better service and a cleaner room. They claimed to be remodeling downstairs, but I think they need to start by deep cleaning their rooms. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free. read more

Perfectly fine hotel. Stayed here for less than 8 hours, checked in at 11 PM and checked out at 6 AM. Room was clean and adequate, showers worked well as-expected and required. Bar area was absolutely hopping when I checked in at almost 11 PM which kind of amazed me. Well-priced. Will gladly stay here again. One odd thing, I was asked to pay $10 for parking in the Marriott app when I checked in, but there was no way to confirm I had paid or not paid, just felt like a cash grab to be honest. read more

Last minute night out for me and my Husband for his birthday. Lol. Last minute seems to be our thing. Husband's birthday is tomorrow and we are having dinner at Mike's with our Children so we decided to spend the night out afterwards and wanted some where close by the restaurant. Have to spice it up anyway you can. I made the reservations online and check -in was fast. The Gentleman checking us In was very pleasant. There was also an option to self-check in. The room was a little small and dated but it was clean and good enough for a quick visit away from home. We didn't stay long as my Husband wanted to sit outside by the fire pit to smoke a cigar. I being the good Wife that I am joined him outside with my blanket. The Gentleman came out to light the fire pit and we enjoyed Cognac by the fire-for a short while because it was 37 degrees. Went back to the room, got dressed and had dinner with our kids and came back to relax. The bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. We were up and out early because we both had appointments that am. Quick checkout and we were out the door. Not lavish but clean and nice enough for a quick visit. read more

Regularly having the opportunity to stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and by no means a professional hotel reviewer and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer and every Joe and Jane needing good or excellent accommodations, I've developed as what I believe is a concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score: 3.5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score: 4.5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:4.5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score:4.0]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:5.0]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score:4.0]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel is rated at 4.25. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: really, really good guest service and convenience to downtown Springfield, retail, business centers and eating joints. Most negative points found here are: were not of consequence to note. My price to value to overall assessment: is extremely good! read more

I'm a Marriott Titanium. All that means is that I spend 1000s per year - and, typically, 75 nights per year - in their hotels. I do this despite the fact that I often spend more money for their hotels than others in an area - especially when Priceline, Expedia, etc is considered - stay in hotels in locations that aren't as ideal as other hotel brands may be, or stay in hotels not nearly as nice as other brands. (Marriott may have the largest footprint of all the chains, but their hotels have not been maintained nearly as well as Hilton or - gasp - even IHG. Yes, the Holiday Inn brand is now much better in many instances, especially when their Kimpton line is considered.) I've stayed with Marriott since 2015 because I wanted the loyalty rewards. Problem. With the exception of a 4 pm checkout, I don't receive any. I think I have 10-15 Suite Awards nights available. That's where you book a room and they upgrade you to a suite. Let's go over that last sentence again. A "suite" isn't a "room". Anyone with gold level status and above is afforded a room upgrade when available. That's standard stuff and nothing special. A suite upgrade is given in exchange for a specific award that comes with a high level of loyalty and status. Again, I've spent 1000s to get that status. Thousands. Marriott Corporate figures out of the suite is available at the requested hotel. 24 hours before check-in, you're told whether you got the suite or not. 24 hours before check-in, I was given my confirmation IN WRITING by Marriott Corporate for the suite. I was elated as this was the first time I'd ever been told the suite was available for upgrade in all my years with Marriott. Elated!! :) I got to the hotel and they'd given it away. You read that right. Someone at the hotel over rode corporate's verbal and written confirmation. Not good. Then mgmt had the nerve to tell me my suite wasn't guaranteed - and, get this - that they'd upgraded me to a balcony room. Hmmm. The AWARD was for a SUITE, not a ROOM. A ROOM upgrade is given to almost anyone and everyone and is STANDARD. Don't even pretend that's the same and/or okay. Just putting that into writing is insulting. Nope, what that appears to be is is pure bait and switch. You've paid for something. You've been told you were getting it in writing. You'd have cancelled had you known you weren't getting it, and you didn't get what you were told you were getting and what you earned after it was too late to cancel and find other options. Sounds like bait and switch to me. And, if mgmt can reverse corporate, possibly fraudulent. Marriott markets suite awards that apparently don't exist - at least not for me. Never had one go thru. Never. I've never complained before. But this time I was given a confirmation in writing that the location's mgmt decided not to uphold, arbitrarily. No. Just. No. How exactly do you give away a room that was confirmed in writing? How do you give away a room that's been blocked off in the system already? The next review will be a report to the BBB. This is shady stuff. read more

I'd say it's a good stay for a good rate, only issue was I guess they rent out the outdoor space for a party which was fairly loud in the backyard. It was annoying and filled the parking lot, but it probably doesn't happen that often where I'd not come here again. There was a sign they were renovating rooms but did their best to keep noise down and I didn't notice any. The lobby area was large and spacious and had several TV's. There was a Starbucks/bistro area right by check-in. Our king-sized bed room also had a large couch which was nice. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, but the pool was a little too cold to be enjoyable. This place is close enough to enjoy DC, Mt. Vernon, and Alexandria. It's also near a mall with some shops and eateries. If you want to visit anything in the surrounding area, this is a decent place to stay. read more

It's fine. Kinda well-worn, but still in good shape. Comfortable beds. A little problem getting shampoo into the bathroom, but they rectified the problem with a quick mention at the desk (thanks, all y'all!). So if you're looking for a fancy, cushy hotel, go somewhere else. But the location is great. Right next to an excellent conference center, the Waterford (go there!). Within walking distance to good restaurants and a mall. A religious center right next door. Right on a bus line, right off the Beltway. AND there's Elena. She takes your order at breakfast. She's nice, kind, cheerful and funny. And she gets your order right. Now, the food isn't such a much and kind of expensive. It's a hotel, after all. But Elena is what really brings the Courtyard from three to four stars. This place is pretty often full of school bus tours. Don't let that scare you away. Courtyard (and Elena!) seem to handle the boisterous, noisy young 'uns easily and well. I've never been kept awake at night, never had my breakfast knocked over, never anything untoward or bad. In fact, the kids have made mornings kind of fun. A bunch of bleary-eyed, disorganized young teens that aren't mine stumbling around the lobby is refreshing and entertaining. And I love that they're there to learn about history, civics or science in person. Good kids, future good citizens. Go there. Say hi to Elena! read more

I enjoyed my one-night stay here. It seems this place has been recently refreshed in both the public areas and the rooms, and they've done a nice job. There's no mustiness anywhere and everything looks and smells clean and new. Check-in was a breeze and the check-in employees were incredibly polite and dressed in suits, so the reception felt like something at a much higher-end property. The lobby has lots of seating and new, contemporary décor. Tried out the bistro in the lobby, where they have a reasonable bottled beer selection (no taps) as well as wine and liquor and a pretty extensive menu of flatbreads/sandwiches/etc. I tried the southwestern corn soup, and the cup ($4.95) came in a large portion and was very tasty. The bartender was also on top of everything, so I have to say the service folks I encountered here were great. The room was comfy and had plenty of space. For some reason, I always like it when the bed in a hotel room is perpendicular to the window and facing it, rather than parallel to it as in most places. This gave room for a reasonably nice lounging sofa. The flatscreen TV wasn't huge, but they at least have a broad selection of channels. The bathrooms are standard, but they do have the set-up with the vanity outside and the shower and commode behind the door, so one person could shower (or whatever) while the other person was using the sink. Closet space is standard for this class of hotel. If you're unfamiliar with the area and/or clueless (I count as both), it can be a little confusing getting on and off I-95. You will exit 95 a few lights down from the hotel, then turn left onto a road that becomes Commerce St. You'll go under a bridge and around a curve and the hotel is on your right. However, to get back on 95, the entrance ramp is almost directly across from the hotel. It's about a five minute drive to the Franconia-Springfield Metro park & ride if you're using this as a home base outside DC metro. read more

I stay here on an annual basis. Nice hotel but far from perfect. one thing they always do right: the front desk clerks and the folks at the Starbucks/food counter are fantastic. The rooms are comfortable but I wasn't too pleased with cleanliness. Hair on the face cloth and in the shower. It wasn't mine. I know how difficult cleaning hotel rooms must be but for these prices I expect clean. Had to get my own shampoo too. This time we were entertained by a 10 PM fire alarm. Most folks knew what to do but, interestingly, most clustered right adjacent to the building. No staff was present at the end I evacuated to until after the fire truck had arrived... And they were there for a smoke. I would have thought they'd be more attentive to the guests. Got a nice apology letter for the inconvenience. Suggestion: fix the ice machine on the third floor, south end. I know it's extremely noisy and so do you. read more

Very unhappy with our stay this weekend. First the air conditioning in the lobby and most hallways was not working. Our group was accused of being told several times to not congregate in the lobby according to the front desk worker, Cathy. Not once were we asked to leave. One time we were asked for everyone to put our masks on because one person in our party who has medical issues wasn't wearing one... we were quiet and clean, no issues. Maybe she confused us with another group but we were accused and she was quite wrong. In addition while one of family members was in his room one of the hotel staff walked into the room without knocking. The worker claimed he was there to fix things, but nothing was broken. When he went to the front desk to complain he was told that he goes into rooms all the time and the front desk worker didn't seem to care what had happened. It also seemed that one of the beds in the room had been laid on, suggesting he was using this room for his naps on the midnight shift! The customer service in this hotel is far from hospitable. This is a pretty tired hotel. I stayed here a few years ago and it wasn't so bad. They have a sign up that they're redoing the rooms, it's about time (it's actually past time). I'm not sure if this will help the common areas - the lobby and restaurant are OK, but the hallways on the second floor are awful. Walking down them is like being on a trampoline, the floor gives way with every step, and there are some big holes my foot sunk into. That can't be safe. The rooms are decent, but need updating. It is nice and close to the mall and lots of restaurants, but there are nicer places to stay for the money. They seem to get a LOT of traffic from youth groups going to DC, so be prepared for the noise and hubbub. They have conference rooms off the lobby that they use for breakfasts for the groups staying there, so it's a bit loud when this is taking place. read more

Terrible! When we checked into our room, there were hairs on the pillows and in the sink. there was old, smeared food on the fridge, and a little spider on our bed! Bottom Line: An ok hotel that serves its primary function as a place to sleep. Through years of business travel I have learned that not all Courtyards are the same. I have stayed in Courtyards that have ranged from very basic and slightly dated to high end, boutique-ish. This Courtyard by Marriott definitely falls into the very basic and slightly dated category. Even though the decor is not the most elegant, the rooms were clean and comfortable enough. The staff here was very welcoming and its nice that the hotel lobby has a Bistro for a quick, simple made-to-order meal. The biggest downside to this hotel, like many hotel rooms, is that the thermostat comes on and turns off all night such that the noise level in the room significantly fluctuates. On one hand the loud condenser is nice because it blocks out other noise but on the other hand, when the unit comes on, it can be loud and almost jarring. read more

I was here for three days on a recent business trip which was right across the street from this hotel. This is a very basic courtyard Marriott but it gets the job done well. For one, all of the staff are super polite and helpful! This is a big plus. Secondly, they have a gym and a swimming pool on the facilities, which is great for relaxing after a business meeting. And finally, the rooms are rather large and comfortable with a nice sofa and comfortable work space nearby. The TV selection is also quite extensive. All in all a comfortable hotel and a great value. They also have a small breakfast collection which is quite nice. Try their eggs with bacon. It'll fill you and up and give you enough calories to skip lunch :). And they serve complementary meat tacos on Tuesdays in the lobby in the evening --- apparently it must be Taco Tuesdays! read more

Our bartender was overwhelmed with work and Allison came to his rescue. She handled drinks and food orders for the crowd. She is a gem. Thank you. read more

I stay at Marriott whenever possible. I happen to select this location for a conference I was attending in the area. I on the outside, the location looks nice. It is about 3-4 blocks away from the Springfield Town Center. It sits near the highway for easy access. On the inside, the lobby is nice like other courtyards. However, the restaurant/bar is in the center of the lobby which is actually pretty nice. The seating arrange is spacious and contemporary like one would expect at a courtyard. As I walked to my room, I started to notice items needing maintenance. Carpet border along the walls were off and semi rolled up thought out the 2 floors I was on. Wallpaper peeling and or hanging off the wall. Water stains in the ceiling of hallway and at least 3 areas in my room where you can see that the paint has flaked off. My room faced the highway, so that is pretty much what I heard all night, cars, motorcycles, and buses. Most of these items are cosmetic and can be fixed. My issue is when I go to the portal to select a property, I want to know that it is under maintenance and secondly, the price of the hotel room should reflect the condition of the property. read more

Excellent hotel, just a little bit too far from restaurants if you're a walker. Also if they put you on the fourth floor, I found that the elevator was NEVER where I wanted it. When I was on 4, I had to wait a minute or so for the elevator to leave 1, and rise to four. When I was on 1, the elevator was always on the 4th floor. I think this would normally be fine, but I was there for about 10 days. i had enough after a week :-) read more

I recently stayed at this Courtyard. I am a gold member and only stay at Marriott properties. I arrived to check in and my host almost did not let me out of the car as there was so much garbage in front on the main entrance. I complained when I checked in and they told me they would clean it up. The next morning the basic garbage was gone, but the area in front of the entrance was very dirty and unkempt. Walking to and from my room each day, I noticed the carpets were dirty and the elevator floor was sticky. There was garbage (like straws and papers) on the hallway floors. I complained to the front desk and again I was told the halls would be vacuumed and the elevator cleaned. I stayed 3 nights and this was never done. Especially in this time of COVID, it is important to trust the cleanliness of a hotel when you are traveling for business. I would never recommend this property to anyone given the total lack of attention to the cleanliness of the property and the disregard for the customer's dissatisfaction. read more
