I stayed here w/ family 3 years ago and it was great. This time, it was a little disappointing. My husband was told over the phone due to the covid19 crisis that packaged grab and go breakfast will be available instead of the buffet. He personally called this hotel to confirm. Then when we checked in last night, the receptionist confirmed once again that is likely going to be offered the next morning. This morning the manager Jason S. said there is no grab and go breakfast and that we will have to call Expedia. Did not offer that he will need to educate /inform his employees on how to answer that question from now on. We understand this crisis has gotten everything and everyone a little shaken up, but this is now the 3rd month into the crisis...things should be more organized now. The room was $200+ and not even grab and go breakfast was offered during this covid19 crisis. The main point though is 2 employees said there would be, but the manager failed to acknowledge that. I think the manager should be responsible in teaching the employees. I often suffer from hypoglycemic episodes, but it is good that we always bring snacks when traveling just in case. The manager could have offered to call Expedia for us too. So many things that would have made this a better experience. Be careful especially if you have any medical concerns before coming here if there is a crisis as after 3 months, they still have not gotten organized enough to answer simple questions about breakfas read more

I stayed here for one night in July 2014 and my experience was very good. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Breakfast is good if it is free, if not then just go to Denny's which is not far from here. I will stay at this hotel again next time I am in town. Tip on local time: AZ doesn't observe daylight savings and both my wife and mine smartphones gets confused by switch back and forth on daylight savings. So if you want a wake up call (during day light saving times), you better off have the hotel do it rather than setting your alarm clock. read more

We decided to stay here for the half marathon. The pool looks dirty (can't see the floor). The staff is a hit or miss. They don't greet you or hold the door open for you. We had hands full with a toddler and they guy cleaning the door didn't help at all. I'm fact he stood there watching us figure it out. Last night the fire alarm went off twice. We called and where told they are fixing it and it was a false alarm. Breakfast is not included and pricey for what you get. Food most definitely not good. Your better off eating somewhere else. Room was clean and ok but not great for the price. Location was convenient. We had friends stay at the Sleep in and they have breakfast included, indoor pool and microwave in room. We will try that next time which is a much cheaper hotel. Not impressed. read more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while touring in the area. Our room had a comfortably firm bed, a work desk, a small table with two chairs, an LCD TV, and free wifi. The front desk was staffed by courteous, helpful people. All in all, fairly typical of the Marriott Courtyard brand. The motel's location is near the highway, about 1/2 mile away from the "downtown" area where most hotels in Page are located. I preferred the Courtyard's location because it was more convenient for driving and, let's face it, downtown city life is not why most people visit Page AZ. The motel's price was high during my visit but only slightly more expensive than competing brands. read more

TLDR: Overall it was a very pleasant stay (one night) and I'd totally recommend. Very centrally located and easy to find. Staff was very pleasant and informative, one who saved our entire trip with her knowledge. We were on the 2nd floor, near the parking lot entrance - super convenient! Plus, big props for letting us check in before 3, I love that! The room seemed pretty new, the grout in the bathroom is still white. The bedding is wonderful! It feels so clean, and soft, I really felt so comfortable hanging out on the bed. I didn't like the pillows though; at first use they seemed perfect, but they are feather pillows and as they inevitably do, they flattened down and provided no support throughout the night. (My longstanding opinion has been that hotels should always offer both feather and non as options in their rooms, no?) Anyway, the room is pretty, the courtyard is too. We didn't go out there and the pool was closed for the season, but we could see both the pool and fire pit from our room (with a tiny balcony) which was really nice. Ok, so breakfast. The upgrade for $13 is a little disappointing. The coffee is superb, let me just say that. However, the buffet offerings were hardly more than your typical hotel breakfast. They had 2 types of scrambled eggs, and multiple fresh fruit, plus an omelet bar which I would consider more than the typical; but not really worth $13. But, with the room at $120 it's not that big of a splurge to just upgrade (and compared to the free breakfast they have, it is a major upgrade). We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, didn't think in a small town like Page, to expect much. We stayed for a couple nights and had no complaints. Check in was painless, my online request for a high room on the 4th floor and extra towels were accommodated (they were options when booking). We also used the coin laundry area which was cool cause you only pay $2 for the washer and then NOTHING for the dryer, yay! The beds were super comfy, the room was clean and bed bug free (thank goodness), and we would definitely stay here again if we were to go to Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon again. It's down the hill from the main part of town but assuming you have a car, just drive it up the hill half a mile to the downtown area, no worries. Check in was quick and friendly. While this hotel sits atop a hill with some nice views it is very dated. The rooms were clean, beds were very uncomfortable and sheets were very rough. The window AC unit was very noisy. The gift shop was fairly well stocked with local fare and basic needs but not well maintained. The restaurant on property (Peppers) had very good service but the food was just average. There is little to no cell phone service in the area, at least with AT&T and wifi at the hotel was all but non existent and very slow. You would think a hotel of this size and brand would have the latest technology knowing its guests cannot get cell service but the speed matches the dated look of the hotel. It is doubtful if we are in the area again we would stay at this hotel. read more

Comfy! The room, while not the most modern, was great for where we were. The location just off the highway was wonderful, as it provided us easy access to all our hiking desires. The hot tub was acting up while we were there - usable, but not bubbles. I was disappointed it wasn't fixed by the time we left. The front desk was very helpful. They were able to suggest some very good food (Yelp's not that big in the Page area yet), as well as went above and beyond in helping me try to fix my only pair of leisure shoes that decided to break at dinner one night. Typical Courtyard. Nice rooms, have a brick interior, interesting yet nice decor. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express the last few nights, but plans changed and we ended up at the Courtyard. Holiday Inn is within walking distance of everything. The Courtyard is a little further away from the downtown area. Hotel staff was nice. There was a problem with our last minute reservation, but they let us check in. Internet is spotty and does fail a few times. I have my fantasy football draft in a few minutes, better not pop out then!! Good place to stay in Page though. I got a deal on the rate, otherwise it was much pricier than other local hotels. May eat dinner at there restaurant Peppers, if I do I will post a new review. read more

This was my first trip out to Page/Lake Powell, but had a pleasurable stay at this courtyard. It did not start well since they did not have a room available even though I requested an early check in (first time this happened, but it does state "not guarenteed") but I was able to get in my room by 2PM and was on the higher floor and we really did not stay too long in the hotel but coming back at night we did have a beautiful view of the pool and could see the bridge as well. The drive into town is only 1 minute away and Lake Powell is only about 15 minutes away (to the resort) but it was a true to "Courtyard" stay, but no complaints overall. read more

I asked if an upgrade was available and the lady at the front desk said they're fully booked although the parking lot was almost empty and didn't see too many people in the hotel either. The hotel has the best views in town by far. Views of the canyon, the dam, and the golf course. The hotel itself is very clean with a nice Adobe Indian feel to it but not overboard. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone! read more

Lovely view and great boat ride tonight. Came back to our great room but stopped for a bite in the lounge. Anna did very nice job serving drinks, taking food orders, washing wine and beer glasses. Very good personality and caring for the customers needs. Our tostada salad no meat took 35 minutes w a warm salad plate. Anna is great but she needs the hostess helping her. Like pour wine, deliver drinks , wipe tables , take orders instead of standing at the welcome podium and disappearing for 15 minute increments. Ok so the rooms are pretty standard. Probably a bit better than standard because they have good lighting and a nice brick facade wall. This is what makes this place 4 stars: 1--super close to everything (horseshoe bend, lake powell, antelope canyon, the dam) 2--staff service and friendliness 3--large recycling container outside, you may find these few and far between in utah and AZ 4--water bottle filling station near the bathrooms near lobby 5--reasonably priced peppers restaurant with crazy good fish and chips, like among the best ive had. 6--pool was warm and easy to swim in. Not crowded at night. 7--pretty great fitness room actually with ability to open courtyard door for fresh air. 8--easy to chill and relax in the lobby w the fireplace and free coffee and hot water. Since its pretty much the only place one can stay in the area, i felt that they took good care to provide a comfortable and good experience. read more

We are Marriott Platinum Elite member. Courtyard is our frequent choice of hotel but our two nights stay at this one was rather disappointing. Maybe it's January in Page. The check in at the front desk was very slow. The restaurant was not open on the first night so we tried to heat up some soup for dinner. We could only use the microwave in the gift shop so no microwave in the room was very inconvenient! When we asked the staff in the bar/dining room for some hot water, the staff was not very friendly. The room was kind of old and out dated. Overall, it was a below average experience comparing to other courtyard. read more

This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you're in Lake Powel, pick any place other than Marriott. Front desk is horrible. The refrigerator in the room only stays on for 2 hours. The front desk offered no replacement and thought it would be ok to just have us schlep our stuff to their kitchen vs having it convenient in our $250 per night room. When I said that's not very convenient, the girl pretending to be helpful at the front desk replied "Do you want me to help you or not." I'll never stay at a Marriott again. read more

I came here on early January of 2015 with my fiancée. The hotel was a bit old, but overall everything was good. The room was spacious and with a balcony which is convenient for smokers. My only complain is that the night before I stayed in Vegas, and the hotel which was a luxury one was cheaper that this one! BEWARE! I ended up being charged $367.36 for 1 night. The receptionist doesn't know how to adequately charge a holding amount on your card even if you book online. she charged me 3 times although I had already paid for 1 night through orbits. She kept on saying the charges would fall off and they didn't. They actually posted. I spoke to Jeremy who is the Vice President of that location (says him) and he was extremely rude. From the start of the conversation he cut me off while I was explaining what happened and asked for my card number, said it would populate on his side if it posted. He said he didn't see anything on his side ALTHOUGH THE TRANSACTIONS POSTED! He kept on saying that they did not charge me because he couldn't see it!! SIR, the cash is no longer in my account. He then just hung up on me. I didn't care he didn't say hello or goodbye but holy hell. This is the worst experience ever! Sir, I hope you read this and I hope someone takes your money and leaves you with a hell of a mess to clean up just like you did to me. read more

Great bartender Richard, a good conversationalist, great personality. Our room at Lake Powell Marriot was well appointed but a bit small as are modern hotel rooms these days and a bit pricey. The pool area was beautiful but the water was a bit murky, not so inviting. I do think the pool maintenance guy was out there working on that situation. The restaurant breakfast bar was nice and was popular with the guests. For dinner my wife got steak fajitas and and I got a salad of some type. Booth presented well, looked great but my wife's steak was tough. Being a hungry trooper, she ate it anyway. We did like the restaurant overall and it is clear the chef works to present pleasing dishes. I add that the room maid on our hall was a seeet person and very helpful. The room was very clean and detailed. Great staff. i think this hotel knows how to hire good people. read more

I'm usually satisfied with Courtyard hotels, but was disappointed in this one. The room was loud and I could hear people in the adjoining room. Each time the heater kicked on, it was VERY loud and I was jarred awake. We did some laundry and two of the driers didn't work correctly. We waited 45 minutes and... wet clothes. The helpful desk clerk was very accommodating and reimbursed us but it was disappointing to have to wait another 45 mins for our laundry. We had thought about staying a second night but instead left for another hotel, where we are much more satisfied. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. read more

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff!! The front desk agent was rude upon check-in, and once arriving to our room we discovered our bed was damp from the duvet cover not being dried completely during cleaning. When requesting a new blanket, the front desk agent proceeded to respond with attitude. When contacting the general manager of the property via the cell number provided in our room, he proceeded to give us a lesson on professionalism and told us it is unprofessional to contact him by text...when he is the one that left his cell number to begin with. He was dismissive of our concerns and provided excuses, even stating that because they are located on a reservation it is culturally normal that the agent was not friendly...I'm not asking for the staff to be friendly all the time, but I definitely expect them not to be rude and roll their eyes when we ask questions or need something in our room. After speaking to the general manager, I now understand why the staff was so rude, their manager doesn't expect much from them, and he himself, is more rude than the rest of them. The General Manager, Jeremy Butts, was incredibly patronizing, dismissive, rude, and unprofessional! Not one single apology for being made to feel unwelcome at their property, but instead, excuses, more attitude, and the GM pushing me off the phone instead of hearing my concerns. I'm honestly baffled by the fact that Marriott allows him to manage a property! read more

We stayed one night at this Courtyard by Marriott on May 28th. Since checking out on the morning of May 29th, I have followed up with the hotel almost everyday on two items that were accidentally left behind. On one hand, the hotel vehemently denies ever finding an expensive Celine coat that was left hanging in the closet of Room 161. I called less than 30 minutes after we left the hotel and was told that I would get a call back once they check. No one ever called back. I followed up next day and was told that housekeeping turned in nothing and even if it's still left hanging on the closet, they wouldn't be able to check again until the following Monday after current guests depart. I pleaded with the manager to no avail and received no sympathy. Housekeeping cleans the room everyday. How is it SO off-limit that they can't check until 4 days later? On the other hand, housekeeping did find a Mac charger left in Room 163 and the hotel has since then managed to ship it to the wrong address after charging my credit card for shipping. 16 days after my stay, the manager still hasn't returned any of my calls to address the issue. I also emailed Marriott global customer service twice and received nothing but generic answers telling me that the problem has been forwarded somewhere else and someone else would "call me back". The LACK OF CARE exhibited by the Marriott staff towards a hotel guest's personal belongings is astounding! Even when I asked for a written copy of the lost and found report, I was first told that none is available until I insisted on receiving a copy of whatever notes were written down from my various conversations. I couldn't help but wonder what the difference is between STEALING from a hotel guest during their stay vs. stealing from a guest immediately upon departure? Because of both the financial and sentimental value of the Celine coat, I have no confusion as to where it was: hanging in the closet opposite the vanity sink in Room 161. Either housekeeping took it without logging it into the Lost and Found database, or the NEGLIGENCE of the hotel staff and their inaction allowed the next guests in Room 161 to be dishonest. Both scenarios should have never happened at a hotel properly managed by staff members who actually cared. I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with Marriott's lack of customer service. I travel fairly frequently both for work and for leisure. I'll certainly make sure to never spend another night in a Marriott hotel. read more

We have stayed at the Courtyard group of Marriott hotels several times and have had excellent stays every time. So, for our trip to the Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam and Lower Antelope Canyon, there was no question that we would be booking a room at Courtyard Page. There was a line for checking in but it was moving quickly. The front desk clerks were all very friendly. Our room was on the third floor facing the courtyard and swimming pool with a partial view of the Vermillion cliffs. The room was spacious enough for 3 people. The room was clean and well-furnished. The only things we could criticize about the room were (1) the unreliable Wifi (although we did get a letter from the manager upon check-in apologizing and explaining about the wifi issue), (2) the hard beds and (3) the issue with the flush in the bathroom. The flush worked BUT there were several times wherein the plug would get dislodged and so the water wouldn't be collecting in the tank. We had to remove the lid to replace the plug ourselves. Another area for improvement would be to add another lift. There was only one elevator (that we know of) available to the guests. Also, breakfast wasn't included in our room rate. Aside from these minor flaws, we really enjoyed our one-night stay at Courtyard Page. The location is superb and the Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon Dam are all easily accessible from the hotel. read more

This place saved our lives last night! I am thrilled to say that the Courtyard Marriott in Page is an excellent establishment. We called after 11:00 after arriving at our original hotel and finding out it was closed earlier than our arrival time. The woman on the phone, Janine, was so helpful. She assisted me in booking my room and finding my way to Page from Marble Canyon in such a low service area. She was kind and really helpful. The accommodations were clean and nice and the price was fair. Best of all, the hotel is pet friendly, which was exactly what we needed, as we were traveling with our golden retriever puppy. I am so glad that this place was so helpful and we didn't have to sleep in the car! read more
