We stayed at the Courtyard Paducah for the weekend & enjoyed every moment we were there. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable however, the pillows did need upgrading. The staff were welcoming, helpful, & informative which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Courtyard offers a Bistro restaurant where you can purchase breakfast or dinner + a full service bar. We did enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast French toast w/fresh strawberries & maple syrup. Delicious! Starbucks coffee is also available. We were too tired to go out to dinner so purchased flat bread from the Bistro. I would highly recommend the Courtyard Paducah.

    Dirty drawer!

I didn't think this place could get worse in a year, but it has. The lobby and upstairs corridors smell like industrial-grade carpet sanitizer, and the rooms smell even worse--like cleaning fluid and a weird eucalyptus scent. The pillows are still spongy, and housekeeping is only done once every three days. When I pulled back the comforter, the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest--the fitted sheet was twisted, wrinkly, and had spots on it. The pillowcases had small rips in them. The pool is closed and undergoing maintenance (during summer??). Oh, and my shower was out of body wash. Oh, how I miss the Drury Inn & Suites.

Breakfast selection. The only thing not showing was the Rice Chex cereal selection and one pastry. Who eats Rice Chex?

I am very mixed about this stay. I am a status member with Marriott and you would not have known it here. No mention of it like at other hotels and no offers for my level. I called in advance about the pool to ensure it was open before booking and was told it was open, but they failed to mention they were only allowing 10 people in at a time and you had to see the desk to see if they would let you in. Well, after waiting at the desk for a few minutes because they were away, we were not able to go in as a large group went in together. The desk responded that no one's keys were supposed to work for the pool but stated some do for some reason and this allowed them to go in without desk support and because we did what the sign asked, we were turned away due to the limit. This was great news for a 5 and 7 year old who really wanted to swim as you can imagine. The hotel was also supposed to have breakfast but that was very disappointing. We went down just after 8am and it was mostly bare. Almost no cereal, most yogurt was gone and the few pastries left were not what we wanted. There were no bananas and most everything was gone. I asked the front desk and they said they are limiting items to try and "stretch" their truck out as best they can. Again, this would have been nice to know before we booked. Our friends across the street at the Hilton had a full hot breakfast and no limits in their pool. The room was okay. The bed was comfortable and the tv is nice. The room temperature was hard to control and we were either steaming hot (with the heat on 66-67) or cold. It remained inconsistent. The shower was nice and there was plenty of hot water. Unfortunately however, you don't want to take a longer shower as the room feels very moist and humid. The shower only made it worse. The maintenance crew also set off the fire alarm which is deafening by trying to spray paint the tiles in the hallways. At least we know it works and there is no way you can sleep through it. The best part of the hotel was a nice workout facility. Overall, and as much as I love the Marriott brand, I was very disappointed with the hotel and the stay. The breakfast issue was not acceptable and they charged the same rates despite the degradation of service and supply. It should be listed on the site before booking there are limits to amenities and listed options like breakfast. If this was my first experience with Marriott, I would be turned away for good. Luckily, because of my status due to MANY stays at a Marriott brand, I know this is not the norm.

    Crap in parking area

The outside is completely under construction and we had to carry all our stuff through a random side door and then find the lobby to check in, there are construction materials and lifts and trucks (and trash and old furniture) all over the parking lot, huge mess, but okay fine, it happens. The 2 star review is because the room is so humid everything feels wet, my hair is a frizzball, and I can't sleep. It's so bad it feels like we are in a room with a humidifier on full blast. We got in very late from Chicago and nobody has even showered in the room yet and it's this humid. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I don't know how this place doesn't have a major mold issue...maybe it does...feels sticky like a camping cabin. Wish we would have stayed somewhere else.

    Great stay!!!

Wonderful stay here! From the parking lot to the king sized bed, an exquisite experience. More than the standard requires, each detail is tended to, which motivates me to make this my Paducah hotel choice ad infinitum.

Clean room, small double beds, friendly front desk. Lobby was full of drunk people who then ended up as next door neighbors, bad news.

From the time we got there till the time we left each and every staff member was fabulous. It was very refreshing to have staff members, friendly, smiling and happy. This is being written April 2026. They are remodeling the first floor so we stayed on the second floor. Our room was extremely nice. Very clean and I am very picky. Our room looks to have been completely remodeled within the last 2 to 3 months... The Auburn is conveniently located next to a exit ramp. You don't have to go search for it in a conglomeration of industrial area. They have a very nice restaurant attached Rafferty's excellent food also other restaurants and gas stations nearby along with a brand new coffee shop.

We had a dog with us and we're down in Paducah getting medical treatments. They have a reasonable rate of $89 plus $25 fee for a dog. The construction wasn't an issue at all as they don't start until 8 o'clock, and they finish by 3 PM. Even when we stayed in our room during the day, we never really heard any construction. The hotel was nice. Staff was really nice. The only issues we had were low flow showerheads and that it took a long time for hot water in the morning. Also only limited television channels (16). Don't go off of the old pictures. The rooms that are remodeled are beautiful and spacious. The beds weren't the most comfortable but much better than some hotels that we've stayed at. The breakfast was lacking. The pancake machine did not cook the pancakes through and they were rubbery and uneatable. The coffee cups are too small and the utensils are plastic and so flexible that you couldn't even use them. They would do well to buy a coffee machine that grinds the coffee beans and disperses it like other hotels. While we were there, the lady that was in charge ran out of hot coffee. That wouldn't be a problem if they'd have that. All in all they put down his Tylenol. All in all a great place to stay.

There was plenty of room for additional seating. The hotel is very dog friendly which we appreciated. As always, Drury Inn has a serviceable hot breakfast and evening happy hour and meal but we did not use the happy hour amenities this trip. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The reason for the 3 star review is there is only ONE elevator for this entire hotel and it is IN DESPERATE NEED OF MAINTENANCE. There were guests in the hotel with very unruly children that were playing in it and that is no fault of the hotel, but overall the elevator was very scary to be on, almost breaking down the limited amount of times we used it. There is no service elevator which makes it incredibly difficult for the housekeeping staff to navigate the hotel efficiently. The hotel appears to have plenty of business to afford the installation of another elevator. We will not return to this hotel because of the elevator. If you have mobility issues, consider the Drury Inn across the interstate from this one.

On the 2nd floor is another unlocked, uncovered door that has a balcony butted up to yours. You could step over and be in your space. Not comfortable with that. 2 flights of stairs straight up to get to the 2nd floor and another flight to get to the bedrooms. With the Orgy shower sitting right in the middle of the floor between the 2 bedrooms was a little P Diddy for us regular folks. All the track lights makes it hard to find their cameras. CREEPY The beds were comfortable and the place was clean as a pin. That is what the 2 stars are for. There is no breakfast and the bar is a joke at best. Why people lie about live entertainment blows me away. It looked like an old Folks home TV room. They advertise a pool table. It is a private table and on the 3rd floor of the Trifecta room. No access for other customers. The pool room butts up to the P Diddy bedroom. Balls were broke and hollering went on til very late. The lady who they say is an owner(that's what this site says) gave me a very furred brow when I ask about the advertised table and where it was. (To say rude would be fair) I knew there was a pool adjacent to my bedroom because I heard it til late. Lastly... we were there on a Monday and nothing was opened. NOTHING!!!!! So for this business to advertise that other places are in walking distance is again very misleading. First off PIGGY BACKING off other businesses with your baseless claims of availability is a bit fraudulent. This whole thing is misleading. There was NO parking for us behind a condo. We had to park on the street and haul our stuff a city block before we started the multiple flights of stairs to the room. As town was dead this was still unacceptable as it is clearly stated on the site that parking was available and free. If town had anything going on we would have had NOWHERE to park.. When we arrived there had been an error made somewhere between Expedia and the Hotel. We were going to have to move rooms. There was no way that was going to happen. The young man on 2nd shift worked very quickly to get that second night cancelled and was very professional about the error. That is what 1 star is for.
