This is the second time we've stayed here on the way to visit grandchildren in Knoxville. It's clean, in good condition, and seems fairly new. It doesn't offer a free breakfast but we do get a $10 credit at the bistro. I had a breakfast sandwich. It was on a hamburger bun, which I didn't like. The bacon was crisp and it contained fresh, not powdered eggs, a thin coat of avocado, and a few sprigs of arugula. With tip, it came to right at $15. read more

Staying here for the first time for while in Paducah for work. This Courtyard Marriott is located along the strip so there are a number of restaurants and shops near by. The hotel itself is located on a hill. It appears clean and updated as you walk in. I was quickly checked in. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I dropped off my stuff and headed out for a quick dinner at one of the many restaurants near by. I have sushi in mind for tonight. The final test will be a good nights sleep. Fingers crossed. While the property is outdated, overall the rooms are decent. Parking is a bit tight, not sure it can handle when the hotel is at capacity. Where this location fails is on service. There was no acknowledgment of status, no offer of a bottle of water or anything else for a Lifetime Titanium. Garbage around the rooms does not get picked up. Entire staff needs an overhaul. A maintenance worker should not be calling customers, and definitely not being disrespectful. Inside smells strongly of cheap perfume all throughout and rooms are out of body wash, shampoo or conditioner half the time. When trying to talk to the assistant manager about why a maintenance worker was being disrespectful, we were told "I don't have time for this." Absolutely unacceptable. read more

We stayed at the Courtyard Paducah for the weekend & enjoyed every moment we were there. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable however, the pillows did need upgrading. The staff were welcoming, helpful, & informative which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Courtyard offers a Bistro restaurant where you can purchase breakfast or dinner + a full service bar. We did enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast French toast w/fresh strawberries & maple syrup. Delicious! Starbucks coffee is also available. We were too tired to go out to dinner so purchased flat bread from the Bistro. I would highly recommend the Courtyard Paducah. read more

I didn't think this place could get worse in a year, but it has. The lobby and upstairs corridors smell like industrial-grade carpet sanitizer, and the rooms smell even worse--like cleaning fluid and a weird eucalyptus scent. The pillows are still spongy, and housekeeping is only done once every three days. When I pulled back the comforter, the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest--the fitted sheet was twisted, wrinkly, and had spots on it. The pillowcases had small rips in them. The pool is closed and undergoing maintenance (during summer??). Oh, and my shower was out of body wash. Oh, how I miss the Drury Inn & Suites. read more

Great value and location; located about 15 minutes away from Metropolis, IL (Superman Celebration); location good for last-minute shopping (ie, Walmart) and plenty of places to eat. However, some points to be aware of: * LOBBY: Strong air freshener (needs to be dialed down); * CLEANING ROOMS is EVERY 3 DAYS after your arrival and no weekends. Don't arrive on a Wednesday or later, or your are screwed. If this is a carryover from COVID, its time to review this policy urgently (far as I know, this is the ONLY hotel that I have stayed at that has this policy. * POOL is nice and refreshing * NO BREAKFAST BUFFET; but there is food available in mornings for purchase. * ROOMS: Recommend getting rooms on top floor if possible (away from the elevator); walls thin, but did not experience any late-night issues; totally dark when you close your shades to go to sleep. Could use better, more-firm pillows and flipping of mattresses or replacements as mine dipping (312). Plenty of USB ports and outlets. Could use another outlet on left-side of TV but outlet under desk for laptops. Fridge was adequate, had to remove shelf and holder for food. Could use a room safe. * PARKING: Ample; easy side-access no matter where you park. read more

We booked rooms at the Fairfield across the road, but it was subpar so we contacted the courtyard and Courtney was very accommodating to get us rooms with no issue. Disappointed with my stay, the body wash and the hair conditioner dispensers were empty. Pretty difficult to shower when you have no soap. Marriott is this the best you can do? $180 dollar room with no soap! Get it together!!! read more

I am very mixed about this stay. I am a status member with Marriott and you would not have known it here. No mention of it like at other hotels and no offers for my level. I called in advance about the pool to ensure it was open before booking and was told it was open, but they failed to mention they were only allowing 10 people in at a time and you had to see the desk to see if they would let you in. Well, after waiting at the desk for a few minutes because they were away, we were not able to go in as a large group went in together. The desk responded that no one's keys were supposed to work for the pool but stated some do for some reason and this allowed them to go in without desk support and because we did what the sign asked, we were turned away due to the limit. This was great news for a 5 and 7 year old who really wanted to swim as you can imagine. The hotel was also supposed to have breakfast but that was very disappointing. We went down just after 8am and it was mostly bare. Almost no cereal, most yogurt was gone and the few pastries left were not what we wanted. There were no bananas and most everything was gone. I asked the front desk and they said they are limiting items to try and "stretch" their truck out as best they can. Again, this would have been nice to know before we booked. Our friends across the street at the Hilton had a full hot breakfast and no limits in their pool. The room was okay. The bed was comfortable and the tv is nice. The room temperature was hard to control and we were either steaming hot (with the heat on 66-67) or cold. It remained inconsistent. The shower was nice and there was plenty of hot water. Unfortunately however, you don't want to take a longer shower as the room feels very moist and humid. The shower only made it worse. The maintenance crew also set off the fire alarm which is deafening by trying to spray paint the tiles in the hallways. At least we know it works and there is no way you can sleep through it. The best part of the hotel was a nice workout facility. Overall, and as much as I love the Marriott brand, I was very disappointed with the hotel and the stay. The breakfast issue was not acceptable and they charged the same rates despite the degradation of service and supply. It should be listed on the site before booking there are limits to amenities and listed options like breakfast. If this was my first experience with Marriott, I would be turned away for good. Luckily, because of my status due to MANY stays at a Marriott brand, I know this is not the norm. read more

I'm forced to assume that they realized that they found that they could get a higher rate than what we booked at. (Rates certainly seemed higher at that point.) I didn't actually stay here, but needed a place with WiFi for the biggest meeting of my career. They let me use the lobby and amenities to present. Every member of the staff on 7/26 and 7/27 were so helpful and accommodating. Next time I'm in Paducah, I'll be staying here. read more

The outside is completely under construction and we had to carry all our stuff through a random side door and then find the lobby to check in, there are construction materials and lifts and trucks (and trash and old furniture) all over the parking lot, huge mess, but okay fine, it happens. The 2 star review is because the room is so humid everything feels wet, my hair is a frizzball, and I can't sleep. It's so bad it feels like we are in a room with a humidifier on full blast. We got in very late from Chicago and nobody has even showered in the room yet and it's this humid. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. I don't know how this place doesn't have a major mold issue...maybe it does...feels sticky like a camping cabin. Wish we would have stayed somewhere else. read more

On the second floor we heard everything going on all around us, including the neighbor's 20 min phone call with his girlfriend, word for word. Doors closing outside were deafening. We did end up moving to the third floor on the end, and it was decently quiet until around 7 when the cleaning crew started and it was door slam after door slam for several minutes. The saving grace was that the bed was actually very comfortable. Customer service was also really friendly. read more

Stayed at the Courtyard on our way home from MS. It was clean and friendly service. Definitely a quiet location, not very busy this weekend. Hospitality items was coffee and water in the lobby, but no continental breakfast like other hotels. I agree with other reviews that the water pressure is nice and better than mine at home. The room was nice and we had a balcony but the view was the parking lot. So not a scenic view but nice if the weather wasn't cold to sit out on. Overall, we would stay there again. read more

A nice clean, functional Marriott Courtyard. A little difficult to find, but within 1 mile of I 65. Look for the discrete signs, sometimes low and in bushes. I would give this property a 5 star rating, but think all Courtyards need to do more to make bathrooms accessible. Toilets are very low, so most rooms need grab bars. ADA roons should be the closest to elevator, not farthest away. Courtyards could greatly improve their customer ratings by following the example of Marriott Residence Inn and their ADA rooms, and including grab bars in many other rooms. I don't know where to begin except to say thank you. I checked in with my under 2 little guy quite late while traveling south. The two gentlemen who were working that evening went above and beyond to accommodate my son and I. From bumping up our room to having a patio so my mini could splash in puddles, to delivering my food to my room so I wouldn't have to leave my mini and go across the hotel. Cookie Cutter Courtyard! These places are all the same, right? Spent two nights here...no problems..just average. Room is clean and ordinary....bed very comfortable...pillows not so much. Very good water pressure in the shower which is a big positive. indoor pool was clean and enjoyable. Room air conditioner made an awful racket when cranked up high. Two of the check-in clerks were extremely friendly...one seemed withdrawn and aloof. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what to expect because the outside of the building just seems kind of dreary but once inside I felt completely different. The lobby is modern, nice, and clean. The woman at the fronst desk was pleasant and helpful when I had a couple of questions. There is a bistro in the lobby/lounge area that serves a small variety of foods including appetizers such as hummus, sandwiches such as chicken ciabatta, and salads such as an Asian chicken salad. There were other items on the menu as well but these are the ones that stuck out to me. I did order the hummus which came with pita chips and celery and I also had the chicken ciabatta sandwhich. The one downfall here is that it wasn't actually served on ciabatta. It was served on typical bread so that was a disappointment. I do not know if they didn't have ciabatta or if they didn't know what it was, or if they thought I wouldn't know the difference. I did. But oh well. The chicken was tasty. Oh, there is also a small market that is open 24/7 where you can get drinks and snacks. There is also a full bar in the bistro area along with a small Starbucks menu. Yes, I'm one of *those* people. I love my Starbucks. Upon entering my room I immediately noticed how clean it was. Housekeeping definitely does a great job making sure to pay attention to detail. Being a former housekeeper I look for the smallest things when I am in a hotel (it's a curse, really) and I did not find anything unsettling. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. There is a separate area outside of the bathroom with a sink. I would like to note here that I love the huge wooden framed mirror. The bedroom area has a pillow top bed and a pull out couch. It also has a nice sized desk, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, and a CV1 coffee maker. I liked this particularly because there isn't a pot that's cleanliness is questionable. They also use wrapped paper cups which is another plus for me. I also want to note the cleanliness of the bedroom and bed linens. Yes, I even looked for bed bugs (I'm a freak, I know). I walked down to check out the pool and fitness room. The pool is decent sized and there is also a whirlpool. The fitness room consists of three treadmills and an eliptical machine. There is also another machine directly next to the pool which I found odd, but maybe that's just me. I decided to go back to my room and change so I could go for a swim. I wasn't in long but it was fun and I am able to say that I did it. I did not attempt the whirlpool because I'm unable to use them and I didn't want to pass out and freak out the next people who might come by. Overall I am very satisfied with this particular location and I would certainly recommend it. Side note: I ordered a chai latte and it really wasn't very good at all. It was a let down considering I was planning on sipping on it and reading a book. I don't know how the rest of their Starbucks products are but the chai latte is thumbs down. read more

This is just your average Courtyard, nothing remarkable about it all, including the location in a technology park, just east of I-24. Lobby is currenly undergoing a renovation, so right now the entrance is on the southside of the first floor, and the actual lobby is walled off. Somewhat surprised that the room has a flatscreen but it does, as well as a microwave and a fridge. If you like the 90's-00's design Courtyards, then you will feel right at home here. read more

We stayed one night here and I was unimpressed. There was a stink bug in our room upon arrival. The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. I gave my newborn a bath and wrapped her up in a towel only to find a long black hair on her (which was definitely no one's in my family). We brought our 2 dogs which we paid a $75 non refundable fee for, though I'm not sure why as the place just didn't seem very clean. The elevator floor had not seen a vacuum in a while. I called ahead to request a freezer for some medical liquids I was traveling with and was told our room had a mini fridge with a freezer. I stored my liquids in there, and when I got them out in the morning, they had completely thawed. I will not be back. read more

Great experience! My family was in town for my grandma's funeral and my mother had booked 2 rooms for my parents and my husband and I on Priceline. She thought she had booked two kings, but we found out upon arrival that it's first available with Priceline and both rooms had two doubles. Not a big deal, but we preferred to have kings. The manager (I believe his name is Matt) was very helpful and even though we really didn't have the option based on where we booked the rooms, he upgraded both of our rooms to kings at no additional cost. The hotel was clean and the staff extremely helpful and polite. I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

First thing I noticed when I walked into the room- several patches in the carpet and stains on the carpet, couch had stains, and some of the furniture is heavenly worn. In the lobby, the bar could not make simple drinks because they were out of basic stock items. The pool was closed indefinitely for maintenance because someone dedicated in it. The spay water was murky. The front desk puts up a sign stating they will be back soon and the attendant goes in to a back room. When we got the room bill- the $75 per night (on special) room was an additional $95 per night for pets charge. When I asked the attendant at the front desk about the pets costing more than the humans and I was not told about the excessive charge during checkin- his response was, "You never asked." read more

Horrible staff. Horrible management. The room was filthy. There was black mold. The Jacuzzi tub knobs were broken. The carpet stained horribly. The tile was cracked and so was the caulk. I'd compare this room to a Silent Hill setting. We tried to reach someone about a refund and EVERYONE dodges your calls or is just plain rude like the GM. read more
