We stayed 2 nights in a king suite on the 5th floor. The room was clean but needs some updating and could have been better appointed with seating - there was the sleeper sofa and 2 dining style chair and no other comfortable chairs. There was plenty of room for additional seating. The hotel is very dog friendly which we appreciated. As always, Drury Inn has a serviceable hot breakfast and evening happy hour and meal but we did not use the happy hour amenities this trip. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The reason for the 3 star review is there is only ONE elevator for this entire hotel and it is IN DESPERATE NEED OF MAINTENANCE. There were guests in the hotel with very unruly children that were playing in it and that is no fault of the hotel, but overall the elevator was very scary to be on, almost breaking down the limited amount of times we used it. There is no service elevator which makes it incredibly difficult for the housekeeping staff to navigate the hotel efficiently. The hotel appears to have plenty of business to afford the installation of another elevator. We will not return to this hotel because of the elevator. If you have mobility issues, consider the Drury Inn across the interstate from this one. read more

We stayed in the Paducah Drury Inn on Tuesday night 12/19/23. Amazing faculty and staff working were outstanding! Everytime we were out of the room, and ran across a staff member, they check to see if we were happy with everything and if we needed anything just to let them know. Holy crap talk about value! My hubby and I stayed here after a long day of travel and were extremely impressed with everything. This was our first time staying at a Dury and it will definitely not be our last! After checking us in the manager at the front desk directed us to the "kick back" area where they were serving food and drinks. The food was free and you also received 3 tickets for alcoholic drinks. You had to cover the tax portion of the alcohol due to state laws but it only came out to $1 a drink! Yes the drinks were small and not the greatest quality but for $1 they were great while we were eating our dinner. For the free food I was thinking that it would be appetizer portions but the staff filled our plates up! We enjoyed the pulled pork sliders, veggies, and salad. We were both in love with the salad because of the quality of the ingredients. They use both spinach and spring mix in the salad and it topped alot of salads I get a most resturants that fill theirs with cheap iceberg. We both had plenty to eat for our dinner and I loved the healthy options. For breakfast we were blown away again. There were so many options that included eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, ect. They even offered cheese and salsa for your eggs which made for a delicious topping. For both the breakfast and kick back the staff serve you and can either eat in the dining area or bring it back to your room. Before breakfast I woke up early to try out the fitness center. After a long day in the car the day before and another long day ahead I wanted to get a little movement in. I was surprised at how nice the gym was even though it was tiny. I used the treadmill, bike, weight bench and dumbells. I was able to get a solid hour work out in and the equipment was all in excellent shape. The staff were all amazing. I checked in took my luggage upstairs.Went out to eat dinner came back and my room key wouldn't work. Went to office and they had checked my room out to someone else while i was gone. They had my luggage down stairs and it had been opened up. My diabetic medicine was missing . So i had to drive a 5 hour round trip home to get my medicine for the rest of the week as i work out of town reason for the stay . That being said they offer me 50,000 reward points for their mistake and the evasion of property and my meds being stolen . The fuel and ware and tare on my body and vehicle. I have stayed at other Drury properties in Paducah for years (either the Inn and Suites or the late, lamented Pear Tree Inn). But my first stay at this renovated Drury Inn afforded me the best night's sleep I have ever had in Paducah - or anywhere else, for that matter. Other family members like the Suites, but I've been there a couple times and I ain't goin' back because this Drury Inn is unbeatable. Comfy bed which gave me no back problems, UNBELIEVABLY roomy bathroom, great staff, great price - I will be back soon, cuz this property is my new go-to in Paducah. RE: Meridian MS location. While traveling across the country, decided to try Drury. I started using this motel because seemed they are conveniently located. But had a horrible experience in the one In Meridian MS. booked my room via internet. Arrived to location, could hear the rap music even before "trying" to enter driveway. There were hundreds of teens and preteens and cars blocking the drive to entry door and the parking lot. Finally one fellow decided to pull aside to let me get to the entry door. Inside were two clerks at desk.I asked if a convention or reunion was happening. Lady said, no it's the local military base guys that rent a few rooms then spread the word theirs a party. she said there is nothing we can do about it. I got refunded and left. Awful read more

The newly renovated rooms are so nice. The bathroom is especially beautiful with a walk-in shower you will absolutely love. Clean, but dated motel with faded hallway carpet, stained room carpet and worn furnishings. Beds were comfortable with fresh linen. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking and doggy potty area. Pool and hot tub were a plus. Serve yourself breakfast had the above average breakfast of waffles, eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, oatmeal, cold cereal and pastries. We have stayed at this location about 6 times yet this is the the first time I have anything negative to say! The breakfast is great like always and the staff is very friendly. But our room we had a suite the needs to be redone desperately. The carpet going to the bathroom was frayed, then the bathroom door was chipped. The mattress was not very comfortable. The couch was worn! Then the Hot Tub down stairs was not working correctly and smelled strangely! We didn't tell management we just won't stay there again. As weary travelers in the night, we needed a place to crash between days of driving. Our trip down to Florida didn't go as well as we hoped (see review of the Quality Inn near Birmingham, AL). We learned from our mistake and booked a room the morning of our drive. We knew we'd probably stay in the Paducah, KY area so we searched for what was available. The wife said "There's a Drury there..." and I said "hey, I hear those are nice!" - so we booked it. We rolled in on a wave of confidence that we'd find a nice, clean room with nice amenities. We were not disappointed. Our only glitch was the room we were assigned had a smell. The smell of a smoker. Maybe not the last person there, but yeah - it was in the air. We reported it to the front desk and, with apologies, they immediate set us up in a different room. Beautiful. The beds were comfy and the room was clean and modern. Just what you want. Anyone who has stayed at a Drury knows their services, including a nightly "kickback" with snacks (often hot apps) and beverages (beer, if allowed by the state). We WISH we made it in time for that, but alas. When we got there they were still serving soda and popcorn in the lobby, so we raced down to get some before they closed it up. In the morning they serve a hot breakfast - scrambled eggs, biscuits (gravy available), sausage patties, etc. The kids and I headed down for our feast (wife had her eyes on Panera nearby). The manager was walking around, all smiles, as if he were hosting a party - making sure everyone had what they needed. Super! We have a new favorite hotel chain and will target them whenever we travel. read more

We went here on short notice. First they upgraded our room! Not a bad way to start things. Lovely furnishings and ultra-courteous staff. My wife is allergic to duck feathers so if you have allergies, you need ask for hypo-allergenic pillows. The morning breakfast is a solid cut above most "motel breakfast" offerings. Fresher, higher quality, better serving area. Be careful not to confuse Drury Inn with Drury Inn suites. They aren't the same place but they are close to each other and the signage is almost identical. But this is still a great place with no downside. read more

What a great value for the money! I'm very familiar with the Drury hotels, and this one had everything I was expecting. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was very nice, pool and hot tub were in good working condition. The 530 kickback had pasta and other items you could make a dinner out of, complete with 3 cocktails; and the breakfast was hot and had several options as well. As a comment for the whole Drury chain in general, it would be nice if the last hour of the pool area was adults-only. The night we were there, a large group of kids who were playing with the jets in the hot tub ended pushing all of the water out, and it had to be refilled with cold water that was going to take quite a while to warm up. read more

Quite possibly one of the best customer service experiences i have ever had. Friendly staff from over the phone reservation to check in. Minutes after checking in the front desk called to make sure the room was to our liking and telling us to call if we needed anything. They had lots of free hot appetizers as well as salad and soup, popcorn and soda....which means a ton to a tired family after 11 hours on the road. Cant beat free breakfast too! Now for the customer service and lack of... Nasty people, nasty attitude and will only help you, the paying customer when the employees are are done chit chatting and laughing and acting as if they are there to mingle with each other and u disturb that by needing assistance and get an attitude when ur on a time crunch, & when u speak up for ur self u get threatened with being kicked out, so rest assured it isn't a place to stay if u have any dignity, and have any concern for what ur family is inhaling... We have stayed here numerous times. Folks are friendly and helpful. 2 issues however, first was, the room we were first given had the beds NOT made and the old linens were piled on a chair. The upshot was, we were upgraded to a suite. Plenty of room, HOWEVER, a Loofah was found, and left on the floor of the bathroom by a previous guest. After having a very bad experience at a mediocre hotel down the street from the Drury Inn, I called this hotel immediately and they thankfully said that they take pets for only a $10 fee. We raced down there as fast as we could and were so pleasantly surprised by the nice staff, beautiful lobby, and a clean, upscale room. We have never stayed at a Drury before, but if we ever run into one again, we will be sure to book a room! Free hot breakfast in the morning, free food and drinks during dinner time, and free WiFi are just a few of the great perks of staying at this hotel. I travel a lot for work, so I see a lot of hotels. The Drury inn in Paducah is a nice surprise. Clean comfortable rooms. Staff is very helpful and seem to enjoy their jobs. They are very busy, and can get pricey for the area, especially on busy days, and short notice. They DO allow pets! and have breakfast and hot dogs/soup/chicken fingers for early dinner at no extra cost. We recently stayed at Drury Inn on Hinkleville Road [be careful, there are two at exit 4]. Three nights. We booked a suite through the hotel website. First suite reeked of smoke [room 409]. We immediately phoned the front desk and the clerk cheerfully changed our room to 426. Wonderful large room with enormous double sinks, plenty of room to spread out. Quiet room, as 426 was at the end of the corridor. We were able to check in early and ate lunch at the Outback right across the parking lot. The Drury free hot breakfast was superior! As was the 5:30 - 7 pm kickback. Due to Kentucky law, adults must pay 75 cents per drink, four max. They are very small portions but the four equal two regular bar drinks. Not bad for $1.50 each! We never encountered a grumpy employee. All were welcoming and joyful. We just had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again. Everything about it is five star!! read more

We were there for my husbands work. It was a last minute trip. It happened to be the quilters week or whatever it's called and everything was booked. I do not regret this place. Our son had a good time. The pop corn and drinks were nice and then the food and adult drinks were great at kick back. We enjoyed our stay. When we checked out we forgot some clothes in the room. They mailed it to us which was nice. If we go back as a family we will stay there. read more

I would say 1 star is generous. We only had a reservation there for a month and when my niece and two little girls arrived they were met by a extremely unpleasant hotel employee who told them they could not have a party. Now we are talking supervised little girls who wanted to swim and have a sleepover. We could have lied though they were holding a Moauna cake, and told my niece not to mention it was her birthday, but we try to tell the truth and teach the kids to do the same. She was devastated. After a phone call to Hampton Inn and Suites across the street we were welcomed with open arms, fresh baked cookies, milk, tea and coffee and a nice clear clean pool. They were extremely nice and professional. I went back to Drury and spoke to Mr. Christopher Volpe, Manager, who said they did have a no party policy. It's Not posted anywhere at the hotel and it is not on their website. He produced a small piece of paper with hotel rules. You can say small print! I in turn admonished this young man asking if he had children and would he appreciate them being treated like this. I also expressed I am sure his mother as the children's grandmother would like it about as much as I did. I have booked Drury hotels since the mid 1980's for dancers, ball players, weddings, bachelorette parties etc. in Paducah, St. Louis, Nashville, Bowling Green, Louisville and other cities. Never once have I had a problem with them. Leave it to Paducah!!! Mr. Volpe gave me the general manager's card, Nicole Ryan. I think she should put signs up if they have made this type of change. The website too. I will speak with corporate next week. I want Nothing from them but I know who will Not have my business anymore in Paducah. Thank you again to the Hampton Inn Suites.
