Fitness Room weight rack & medicine balls

Great staff & nice hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions, tips and even holding room keys when out running. They are friendly, courteous & professional. The hotel has one of the nicer fitness rooms I've seen at a hotel. A lot of options & well maintained. Maybe 1/4 a mile from the hotel down a quiet side street is access to the Norwittuck Trail which is paved, fairly flat & a nice run. Rooms were clean, comfortable & well kept. Plenty of shampoo, soap, etc. each day. Ample free parking. Starbucks available in the morning - standard Starbucks offerings. Room charge makes it easy to grab a coffee & breakfast after an early morning run on your way back up to your room. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Great place to stay while checking out U Mass Amherst for our upcoming freshman. The hotel is clean. The Front desk staff is very courteous and helpful. The beds were soooo comfortable. I know where we will be staying when visiting Amherst.

Comfy bed

Very nice hotel conveniently located to UMass campus and all regional highways. Comfortable beds, showers with excellent water pressure, nicely furnished rooms, very friendly staff, and well maintained facilities. I'm very impressed. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub (and exercise room) for the down hours

I have to say "Well played Marriott, well played." Not sure I've ever had a hotel dust off my car in the self parking lot. A nice touch.

To…read moreCatherine, Jeff, Cory, Sarah, Mitch and all of the dedicated staff at the Inn, we cannot thank you enough for making our day such a dream come true. We had our rehearsal dinner in the greenhouse room at 30 Boltwood the night prior and the food was incredible. We tried 30 Boltwood last year and both agreed that you truly cannot go wrong with any menu item - and my God you haven't lived until you have had their Mac and cheese. We had the 3 course meal with a choice of 3 entrees and both of our families have not stopped talking about it! We had multiple people who have allergies or restrictions and they were accommodated throughout the weekend, which was such a relief as they were able to just enjoy themselves fully. Sarah was an incredible help throughout the dinner and ensured we were all taken care of. We made the decision to move to an outdoor cocktail hour and tented reception due to COVID-19 mask mandates in Amherst, but you seriously could not tell it was not what we originally planned. We felt so secure that our plans would come to life in the hands of the staff, and we were so happy with how everything turned out! Our guests raved about the venue location, the passed hors d'oeuvres and the dinner selection and the staff were beyond communicative - again, Catherine was a HUGE help, from getting us champagne glasses, to general check ins, and helping get stains out of my wife's dress not one but two different times...Both of us have worked for wedding events and in the food service industry in the past and know just how much needs to go on behind the scenes to make an event successful. Their staff worked incredibly hard and provided such an incredible wedding during the heart of the pandemic, which is no easy task. Their flexibility and attention to detail were clear throughout the weekend and made every difference for us. It was an absolutely perfect weekend, which ticked every box for us and we cannot wait to come back for anniversary celebrations!

We sat in the parlor room and the chairs were all torn up- terrible! We wanted coffee and went to the front desk where the clerk was playing solitaire. When we asked if there was coffee or hot cocoa we were told to go to the bar and order it and it would be delivered to us- we were surprised that she didn't stand up and offer to take care of it for us. Customer service training should be a focus. There are a lot of places to stay and we should feel that we made the right choice in staying here and spending money here but we don't. Hopefully employee training as well as some repairs will be done so that customers can benefit.

The breakfast is nothing but carbs; bread, cereal, cupcakes. No protein, no dairy other than milk for coffee. The fruit that's available looks like it's been sitting in the bowl for several months, certainly not fresh. We had a lot of issues with our room keys ceasing to work. Which was particularly frustrating considering that if we parked at the side door nearest our room we couldn't get it. In the two nights we were there we had to get our keys reprogrammed 4 times. The reception staff on the late shift are very surly, and certainly don't want to help you. Although close to the Hampshire Mall and other stores, the area outside gets quite seedy after dark. Next time I'm back visiting UMass I shall look for alternate accommodation It doesn't even live up to the adage 'cheap & cheerful'.

I went there Halloween weekend, and they had increased their price to $95. N I N E T Y - F I V E D O L L A R S. I called, and a woman (a C- U- Next- Tuesday) answered the phone and started to scream at me for forgetting something. I couldn't even understand why she was so mad, as her banshee screams were difficult to understand. Don't go here. There is a reason why they removed the neon "No" from their "No Vacancy sign: they are always vacant, because people don't go there, and there is a reason. I spent about $100 for semen scented sheets, a stuffy room and a chick screaming at me for absolutely no reason. ***IMPORTANT NOTE*** This may look like a hotel, but it is also an underground halfway house. There are homeless men that LIVE in the rooms, for free. But I have to pay money? Don't leave anything important around, or children alone.
