My home had a massive leak and my insurance covered my hotel. I stayed here for two weeks and had a great experience. I wish I remembered the front desk girl's name, but she was THE BEST. There was some complications with my booking and my insurance booked the wrong Courtyard and she stayed on the phone with my insurance for a really long time to get everything settled. The rooms are really clean, quiet, and new. I used the gym, pool, washroom, and I went to the restaurant once. I have zero complaints. Everyone was so nice and I actually miss this place! Wish my home insurance covered more days. Oh and the TV includes so many streaming services like HBO. It was great. P.S. i've saw a review where someone mentioned that it was dirty, it actually made my jaw drop because it's probably one of the cleanest hotels I've been to and I've traveled all over. I wonder if their review was for the other Courtyard hotel because this hotel is brand new and the addresses and names are so similar. I don't think there are a ton of nice hotels in Fresno and this definitely is probably the nicest and in the safest area. Ample parking too. read more

Absolutely unacceptable conditions at the Courtyard by Marriott Fresno Clovis. My wife and I encountered an extremely dirty and unsanitary property, including rats/vermin, cockroaches, stained pillows, and what appeared to be human fecal matter. This was not a minor housekeeping issue--it was a serious health and safety concern. No guest should be expected to stay in conditions like these, especially at a hotel carrying the Marriott name. We were disgusted, deeply uncomfortable, and completely disappointed. Management and Marriott corporate need to investigate this property immediately. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying here. read more

There are two Courtyard Marriott locations in Fresno, and being from out of town, we had no idea they were both listed on the same road. We accidentally showed up at the Courtyard Fresno Clovis and were greeted by one of the rudest front desk employees we have ever encountered. He was extremely unhelpful, and the way he acted when the phone rang was absolutely absurd. When I showed him our reservation, all he said was, "Oh yeah, that's not here." He never bothered to explain that there was another Courtyard Marriott just down the street with almost the exact same name, minus "Clovis." Thankfully, we ended up at the correct location because the staff there was much nicer, more welcoming, and far more accommodating. read more

Courtyard Marriott in Clovis is easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. I've stayed here 3-4 times, and it's consistently been a great experience each visit. It is a little on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth it for what you get. The amenities are excellent--parking is included, the pool area is very clean, and the fully equipped gym is a great bonus. The location is also a big plus, making it a convenient place to stay whether you're in town for business or leisure. Overall, a reliable and comfortable hotel that I'd continue to come back to. read more

The woman working the front desk this morning was incredibly nice. It was very early and she made sure there was coffee when I asked. Really appreciated it! Clean spacious rooms, strong ac, nice hotel. read more

My kind of hotel. Loved my stay here. Pros: + Modern and renovated + Clean bathrooms + Clean bed setup + Heater worked fabulously + Friendly and warm front desk staff Cons: - Shower turned cold ~5 minutes into the shower I always do a check to make sure there are no creepy crawlers on the bed. They've got the bed velcro-ed to the base of the frame, and multiple layers covering the bed. It made me feel like the bed was cleaner in that sense, but the base layer completely envelopes the mattress, so there's no real way for me to check the corners under the mattress. My shower water turned cold about 5 minutes into my shower. I was afraid the water wouldn't turn hot again, so I rushed through conditioning. It did turn back warm hot, but turned cold really fast again. This will now be my go-to hotel for any business trips to Fresno! read more

Great hospitality from all staff. This hotel is very clean! Great prices on food and beverages as well. I slept great. read more

This hotel is fresh, clean, modern, and the staff is really friendly. Plenty of options on the restaurant menu; and everything we tried was tasty. Top-shelf wine and cocktails in the evening. Nice! JayDee served us both days of our stay, cashiered, made coffee, and I don't know how much of the meal prepping he was doing behind the scenes. Talk about multi-tasking. We'll be back! read more

Nice quiet stay and great location. Unfortunately wasn't able to stay for breakfast but it was available.

Couldn't believe my luck. My company's travel service made this reservation for me, a big deal because I'm kind-of a control freak when it comes to hotel selection. But I thought, I'd the Lord wants me to stay in a nice hotel it'll be nice. And it was. Brand new. The Now Hiring sign was still up out front. The floor plan is open. The lobby bar has beer on tap...some good ones, too. The rooms have central light controls bedside which is pretty tricked up. Coffee's available at 6 a.m. at the lobby bar, but there's a Starbucks dispenser in the Bistro just beside the front desk if joe is needed earlier, and the machine made a nice cup I gotta admit. The big wow for me was the fitness center. It's spacious with two adjustable benches, kettlebells, medicine balls, and a Matrix multi-station cable machine. Flooring is synthetic raffia, so no slipping. Summary: I wish there was one of these every place it travel. read more

I visit Fresno about once a month for work and was on the hunt for a nice hotel in a good area, and I finally found it! This place is newly remodeled and the rooms are spacious and clean. It's only about 10 or 15 minutes away from Fresno, so I will definitely be staying here on my next visit. read more

I stayed here for work and wasn't expecting much being in Fresno, and staying in a Courtyard, but had a great experience! The friendliness and service of the staff here are incomparable to any hotel I've stayed at, and I stay at hotels weekly for my job. They were so pleasant and nice, and so appreciative of us staying with them. We received little welcome goody bags with water, cookies, and some mints, which made the check-in process so much better. The hotel and rooms were nice and modern. I really appreciated that the rooms have a shelf that hides the appliances - but more, love that they have appliances to use! In addition to the coffee maker, there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. I love that I don't have to get ice or walk downstairs or use a microwave like most hotels. It's also across the street from the shopping center and close to the mall. Everything is so convenient here! Again, the staff, including the van driver, are exceptional! Whoever is training, or hiring them, is doing an amazing job! Even though this isn't a luxury hotel, I would stay here over one for the staff. read more

I'm a flight attendant and have spent money at so many small little bistros and hotel bars to grab some food. I must say this hotels staff was some of the friendliest I have experienced. From being picked up by the hotel van at the airport by nick all the way to the restaurant they treated my crew like family coming to visit! I definitely have to give a huge shoutout to Jesus who is one of the cooks who came out and chilled with me and the crew and made absolutely incredible food and was extremely kind and Brette who was our bartender who was super fun and personable who treated us with an amazingly welcoming smile, they made our trip extremely memorable in such a short time. And I can't leave out Shane who brought us back to the airport the next day who immediately treated us with a smile and good conversation. This hotel excels at absolutely everything for being so new and small. read more

Marriott Courtyard in Clovis (on Shaw) seems to be very new. The hallways still have new carpet smell and besides scuff marks on the walls of the room, everything seems new. Desk and night stand have two USB-A ports (3.1A total output) and two 3-pronged AC outlets. Room lights can all be controlled bedside, above the night stand. A Timex (model# T1305) clock radio appears to allow playing radio or device through a connected headphone plug, and maybe through one of the two USB-A ports. A cool cabinet with 3 doors houses a mini fridge, small microwave oven, and basket of two cups/lids, coffee pods and tea bags. The odd thing is that there was no coffee maker (maybe due to continuing pandemic). I could clearly hear the heavy footsteps of someone in the room above mine. During high traffic times, you may hear the traffic from the busy road and nearby intersection. You may want to request a room away from the street and on the top/4th floorif you're a light sleeper. Wow!! This hotel has such a warm and helpful small town vibe to it. Each staff member from the front desk to the cafe was so sincere and kind. If you travel often and appreciate good service then definitely stop here!! read more

Clean rooms. Quiet. Friendly staff. Seems like a newer hotel too close to shopping and restaurants.

Rooms are ok nothing too special. Bistro area could do better and have better servers, also can be very loud when people are down there to get out of their rooms to try and work, won't be doing that again. Stay at the double tree downtown, much nicer hotel, better customer service and you'll save your bucks read more

Brand new hotel with the most amazing staff. Rooms are clean, spacious and have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Very nice pool area and water was cool (105 degrees outside). Nice location with lots of option for food and drinks. Boitel bar opens at 5 pm. read more

We where so pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean this hotel was. It looked upgraded or brand new. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the lights where on dimmers and we got 6 different pillows. The breakfast was delicious. I highly suggest the quesadillas breakfast. Also we felt very safe. And the staff was kind and helpful. Next time we are in the area we will stay here. read more

This is the second time staying here over the Christmas holiday. The rooms are super clean. They have great breakfast kitchen with lots of options. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody visiting Fresno read more

I stayed for two nights for business. Right off busy street of Shaw with plenty of free parking. Appreciate that I don't have to put a parking pass on my dashboard. Check in is easy and hassle free. Hotel looks new with a large lobby. 24 hour fitness and business centers and Bistro has morning and evening hours. I have to agree with another Yelper that the fitness center is great. Love the treadmill and water bottle refill station. They also have wipes so you can wipe down the machines before or after use. I am giving 2 stars because there's a constant air sound in the room even when you turn off the air. I heard it when i was in a room on the 2nd floor. Second night, I was in a room on the 3rd floor and heard the same sound AND THE PERSON WALKING ABOVE ME ON THE 4TH FLOOR. It's rather loud and if you're a light sleeper (like me), it will wake you up. There's no way to turn it off. Worst two nights sleepci had all week. Besides the amazing treadmill, there's no other reason for me to return. read more

I booked a room with a 3pm check in. After a long day at the water park we arrived at 4:30pm very hot and tired. At first they could not find my booking then realized it had not been released by housekeeping because the person in the room before me had a 4pm check out. I have never had this happen at any other brand of hotel. Who gives someone the ability to stay in the room until 4 when the next guest is expecting to be able to check in at 3? So there we are sitting in the lobby tired and filthy with my granddaughter laying on the couch trying to sleep while we wait for the room. Other than offering us bottled water, nothing was done to make up for their obvious booking error. When we did finally get to our room it was a beautiful room; however, sound proofing is terrible so we enjoyed the excitement of someone else's child at being in a hotel room and running from one end of the room and back until he or she finally exhausted themselves. The night we spent at a Wyndham in Visalia the night before was a much better experience. read more

Our room smelled like weed. Didn't get a good solution from the staff when that was brought up. It's nice looking but we will go with another place next time. Good food with slow service at the bistro. It was a cold pool with no jacuzzi. No good for families. read more

Chef Shon was great to work with and the food was great as well. Looking forward to having him serve us again in the future.
