I travel for work a lot, this is my go to hotel in Clovis, it's clean, quiet and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is clean and well maintained, the reception area is nice and inviting, breakfast is ok, what you would expect. There is shopping and dining close by , would recommend this spot

I love these upgraded modern hotel rooms that are pet friendly. Here for another dog show we chose Marriott Properties and while staying we ran into many more here for the Dog Show. This location had a little extra something as I'm accustomed to the complimentary breakfasts daily, but here they had 2 unique items they served guests. Crustless spinach, cheese and egg quiche. Taste buds were saying YESSSSS! So good! Then 2 mornings later a sun dried tomato, cheese and egg frittata. Again Taste Buds said YESSSSS! I will say I did get kicked off the internet and couldn't get back on and after rebooting the laptop I used my phones hotspot instead a little annoying. They offered to fix it but I can forgive that but just used my phone it worked when I needed it.

Just checking in .. Good to go !

We really enjoyed the open floor plan / layout and superb management of space. Our room was located on the first floor near an exit which was nice ! Upon entry, the greeting was bright, spacious, and clean, with a nice hint of freshness in the air, which was, indeed, welcoming ! A lovely surprise were the 12' ceilings throughout the room, apart from the bathroom, adding to the already great energy !! The kitchen area was open, while the living and business desk spaces were well thought out, ample, and comfortable !! Instead of a luggage rack, they constructed a separate table area, which was fairly wide making it useful for luggage, storage, or unpacking. The bathroom, including the vanity, and shower areas, were surprisingly spacious with, at least 8' ceilings !! Especially noting the walk-in / sliding glass-walled shower design that offered plenty of extra elbow width to accommodate a relaxing experience with decent water pressure !! The decor was updated, consistent, and not visually jolting, also suppling pleasant, neutral, and soothing colours. Our bed ( sleeping surface ) was soft and warm, yet firm, with comfortable, crisp, and fresh linens providing a deep, sound sleep. Storage was a-plenty for all one's necessary and personal accoutrements. When returning to this area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat, as the rooms were so reasonably priced and the young lady serving as our Desk Staff was sweet, professional, and, most importantly, well versed in excellent customer service !! Wow ! What a treat !! If another star was available to rate this hotel, they would have it ! Cheers !!

Stayed at Residence Inn on 4/18-4/19 2025. We attended my nephew's wedding and we were looking for a hotel that was clean and upgraded. This hotel seemed the best place for us. We wanted to stay close to a Tesla charger and this hotel was about 5 minutes away from one. We were greeted warmly by Kolone and she was friendly and provided top notch service. We stayed up on the 3rd floor and upon entering our room, we were happy to see a clean room with a full sized kitchen, clean beds and large space to fit 5 guests. The bathroom was clean and the shower was large. They provided everything we needed. The hotel was situated in a nice location, close to many shopping centers and restaurants. The breakfast was also good. They had plenty of options but wished they had bacon. Nonetheless, we enjoyed all the food. The breakfast area was clean. They also have a pool outside for those who want to swim. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend if you're looking for a nice and clean hotel to stay at.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The employee at check in, was super friendly. The room was clean and spacious. As soon as we walked into our room we couldn't believe the amount of space we had. They have a full kitchen and table. The living room area had a couch that also could pull out to be a bed. The King Suite is the way to go. They have free breakfast in the morning, pool, gym and a place to do your laundry. The parking was free and they have a Target and Costco across the street. Check out was at 12:00, which is nice. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Hand towels after I scrubbed the bathroom floor upon arrival

Summary For $200, I expect more diligence in cleanliness. But, it wasn't a deal-breaker, as I could clean what was missed by housecleaning, and I would certainly stay here again--the neighborhood feels safe. ***** Pros Pretty quiet (but there was a motor running somewhere outside at night; was it infrastructure or a neighboring business?). It did not keep me awake. Enough space for one or two persons As noted in other reviews, the neighborhood is rather nice, and I never worried about my catalytic converter being stolen overnight. Hahahah...It's about a mile's drive to Vons to pick up that steak; not far, and in a decent neighborhood. The breakfast food was great. They had sausage patties, and pretty tasty individual-serving-size quiche. And, the coffee from the urns was not bad at all. I didn't check out the workout room or pool, but they are welcome addition for others, I'm sure. Also noted by another reviewer, COSTCO is kitty-corner from the hotel. So convenient to gas up! Cons My bare feet kept getting dirty so I wet two hand towels and scooted across the floors to scrub the bathroom floor. See the photo to see how much soil those towels picked up! That was just from the bathroom. I didn't have the heart to photo the towels after I ran them across the kitchen floor. The spatula's blade edge was crusted with someone's old cooked-on food. Yuck. See the photo. I had to ask for handwashing dish soap. The room has an automatic dishwasher, but I had so few dishes that it didn't make sense to run it just to clean a couple of plates. As always, the coffee in the room was that insipid enveloped grounds every hotel seems to think we like.. I expect my $200 would have warranted the inclusion of a French press. I fried a steak for dinner. It was during cleanup that I could not find a spray bottle of 409 for grease. My mom raised me to clean up after myself. But am I supposed to bring my own cleaners when I book a kitchen-equipped hotel room? It's a long 12-mile drive from Hwy 99. Certainly not the hotel's fault, but after a two nights' stay, I got tired of driving the distance.

Wow wow wow! I stayed here for 2 nights on a little staycation this past weekend and was amazed how wonderful the whole experience was. I booked through the Marriott app (I recommend. Better deals and you earn rewards.) Check in was easy, and when I walked into my room I was blown away by how new, clean and fresh everything smelled. It's like a tiny modern studio. There's silverware, pots and pans, cups, plates. Just about everything you need. I didn't want to get out of bed! The only thing that didn't work was the Youtube on the tv and Amazon Prime. But that didn't take away from the fact everything was sooo good. The staff at breakfast were very kind! Don't let any negative reviews stop you from booking. This place did not disappoint! Also they have central air in the rooms! Great feature.

Yummy breakfast! Soooo many choices, including homemade oatmeal!

Positives: Super clean hotel, excellent breakfast, very nice gym. Hotel is close to Old Town Clovis, shopping and restaurants. Biggest negative: No jacuzzi which is a big negative for me.

Fantastic stay! Friendly staff, wonderful room and clean property. I thought it was new but came to find out they've been open for about a year. Enjoyed the first floor room with the tall ceilings. Fitness center was clean and it even had a cable machine. Nice area of town - felt safe and plenty of shops & restaurants adjacent to the hotel. I liked that parking was all in front and plentiful. I look forward to staying here in the future.

It has several memorials to U.S. Military, Military Dogs and Veterans; and provide facilities and support programs to promote a legacy of Military Service. It serves as an elegant world-class educational center to present and preserve regional history, with an emphasis on Veterans of the Clovis community. The structures invite quiet contemplation as one wanders through the memorials. Here is Hallowed, Sacred and Desecrated ground. That means never is yelling done here and no playing or games are to be played here. That includes pokeman players. For the sacrifices of Veterans must always be remembered and respected for they gave their tomorrows for our today. Special districts are a form of local government governed by an elected Board of Directors created by a local community to meet a specific need. Inadequate tax bases and competing demands for existing taxes make it hard for cities and counties to provide all the services their citizens desire. When residents or landowners want new services or higher levels of existing services, they can form a district to pay for and administer them. It is clear that a lot of pride and love went into the creation of these memorials and goes into maintaining them. This place is classy, clean and disabled-friendly. The floors are glossy, there are plenty of bathrooms and they are fresh and stocked. Many who work here are volunteers for as per Acts 20:35 ESV / "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."" As we walked the memorials, tears came as I again remember the words of General Norman Schwarzkopf Jr., United States Army (Ret.) Veteran, that "the more we sweat in Peace, the less we bleed in war." Those words should be and always must be the war standard that we hold every politician to. For "The military don't start wars. Politicians start war." correctly said General William Westmoreland, United States Army (Ret.) Veteran. That's why I support that all elected or appointed politicians who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to spend the first six weeks of each of their terms in the front lines / combat zone hospital unit. Clovis Veterans Memorial District tells a terrifying story that war is never a nice place to visit, and no one wants to live there. It is a special district established 11 June 1946. In 1946, Ernest Hemingway wrote, "Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." That's why I also support that all who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to pay an annual War Tax of 10% of their gross income. I also support a draft for all with no exemptions. CDC rules are practiced here.

Beyond the logistics, she was such a joy to work with! We can't thank Vanessa enough for making our dream wedding come to life. To preface, I have experience hosting events from 50-200 guests and have worked with numerous…read morevenues and coordinators. Vanessa is by far the WORST venue coordinator I've interacted with in terms of customer service, industry knowledge, and communication skills. If you read the other positive reviews, you'll notice they ALL paid additional money for Vanessa to be their wedding coordinator. If you do not pay this, she is a horror to work with (as corroborated by the negative reviews), and I recommend AVOIDING this venue. Another reviewer also stated the owner is her brother-in-law so there is no recourse for her behavior and there are no other venue coordinators available. Detailed below are just some of the negatives: - The wedding was actually for my sister. She was having difficulties with Vanessa so asked me to assist. I reached out to Vanessa explaining who I was but never received a response. Instead, Vanessa told my sister that she felt threatened by my contact and will only work with individuals that signed the venue contract. I never said anything negative, but she often overreacted and took offense over nothing. - Every response took 2 weeks. She would contradict herself in the same email, which added confusion. - She would use made up lingo and when asked for clarification, she would blame us for not understanding "industry language" and still wouldn't clarify. In my 10 years, I've never heard some of the terms that she used. - She didn't understand standard wedding requests. We asked for a cake table and Vanessa responded that the request was unclear because she didn't know what size a cake table should be. We asked to add 2 rectangular side tables for guestbooks, gifts, etc. On the proposal, Vanessa commented "unsure why the client requested". - Unless asked, she wouldn't disclose critical information. We asked multiple times if additional tables (sweetheart, cocktail, etc.) are free. Vanessa confirmed they were free, but once the proposal arrived, it showed free tables with each linen at an additional charge. I told my sister to confirm if the venue provided cake cutting utensils. They don't (which is fine) but this is all information that you tell your clients without prompting. Imagine cutting the cake with no utensils! - When asked questions, she rudely responded with "NO" or "YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE" - In the 1.5 years of planning, despite multiple requests, the venue proposal was only updated twice - once for the initial contract and once when full payment was due 30 days before the event. My sister had to withhold final payment to get her to update it. She updated it 1 week after with inaccurate information. We annotated and returned it next day saying that she'd pay once it was correct. Vanessa had the audacity to respond that making notes on the proposal made it seem like they were stalling payment. Granted, there were 1-2 new updates amongst many more corrections but it was because Vanessa withheld information, and new adjustments were required after seeing the revised proposal for the 1st time. - Vanessa never provided a table layout. My sister had to create it and then confirmed if 5 round tables per row would work. On wedding day, we arrived to a different layout of 4 rounds per row. Vanessa blamed it on a 2 ft. wide photo arch, stating that she had to make adjustments to fit an arch that was discussed weeks prior. However, it was evident that the room would have NEVER fit 5 rounds per row. We had to rearrange the seating chart and the chairs to accommodate for her mess. - Also on wedding day, Vanessa was surprised to find the timeline included a champagne toast. Mind you, the timeline was provided 30 days ago and toasts are standard in weddings. So, she gave us 30 mins to decide on the additional champagne cost. I asked to remove 1 champagne bottle charge as there was an entire table of kids, but she refused. So apparently, the venue includes children in the champagne count even though serving alcohol to minors is illegal. - There was also a safety hazard. About 25 chairs with wheels/casters were intermingled with standard dining chairs. I unknowingly sat in a chair with casters and almost fell. There was no visible difference between the standard chairs vs. chairs with casters, and the table linens prevent anyone from seeing the casters. I told Vanessa who saw no issues and argued that people falling out their chair has never happened before. Thankfully, we were able to get these all replaced prior to the wedding to avoid any older guests from getting hurt. To the owner: Not only is Vanessa horrible to clients, but since she never updated the proposal, the kitchen used the original headcount and cooked 40 additional meals (talk about a waste of money). Also, due to not providing a table layout, the banquet captain Griselda set up tables once, and then had to come back 1 hr earlier to redo it, making staff do avoidable extra work.
