Came here for their Sunday brunch special for 12.95. We were a bit disappointed overall. On the website we read how the menu changes often depending on what the chef wants to cook so I thought what a great idea. Whatever they have left over from the Banquets the night before on a Saturday night they incorporate into unique dishes on a Sunday. I thought this was a great concept and truly wondered why other banquets don't do that... well,, The best thing I think was the omelets. I love that they offer a jalapeno option for them. The fruit was scrumptious. Eggs benedict just okay. Corned beef out of a can. Biscuits and gravy generic. Desserts from GFS. But I would come here again just for the omelet.

Also, liked the separate areas for shower and toilet. Another plus was the choice of restaurants attached to the Hotel-Zorba's lounge, Che Gita and Arista Cafe. We only got to try Arista and enjoyed the coffee. They have a good size lounge area with TV and workspace. Parking at their garage is complimentary and there was usually a spot open in the parking area in front of the hotel. Close to the downtown Naperville/West suburbs and about 50 minutes to Fulton market which worked for our trip. Service was friendly and engaged-Kelly helped with making our room change as smooth as possible given they were sold out of our original room type. The live music provided a great atmosphere and the BYOB was also a bonus. The location is easy to find and the owner was there the entire time with us. We had someone replenishing paint and bringing us napkins as needed and they had cupcakes from a nearby bakery for sale which where some of the best I have had. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Just a few things that kept me from giving it five stars. The painting area was a little too cramped. I was elbow to elbow with the people on either side of me, which made it a little hard to move around and paint. The actual brushes we used seemed to be a little worn, so they didn't paint as well. Maybe omitting one or two chairs from the tables to provide extra painting room would make it a little more comfortable? Just a suggestion, otherwise I would definitely recommend attending one of their painting socials.

The grounds feature a stately manor with indoor and patio seating, lots of garden space to roam with flowers and fountains to admire. I love just walking around here! The food is served tapas style, lots of small plates. And you definitely want to get a LOT of small plates because the servings are definitely small but feature a delicious taste of Spain. You can choose from hot and cold tapas, I recommend getting a mixture of both and our server recommended doing cold tapas, followed by hot. This is one of those dining experiences where you should plan to take your time and sit and sip on wine while ordering rounds of tapas throughout the evening. Some personal favorites for me were the Spanish tortilla, croquettes, beef medallions and the patatas bravas (these are spicy!!). They do have a kids menu and high chairs available. Enjoy the lovely service, atmosphere and food and feel transported to Madrid!

It was perfect for our 15 mo. There was plenty of seating and tables for parents, plus a designated area for parties, which is a nice touch. They also have a solid menu with coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and options for kids. I only tried the coffee which was good, and the food looked great from what I saw. They do require kids to wear grippy socks. We didn't come prepared, but they had them available for just $1.99. I did notice a few kids without them, so it doesn't seem heavily enforced. Also, parents will need to remove their shoes. One of the best parts was that there's no time limit on play, and they allow in-and-out access, which makes it really easy if you're juggling errands or a toddler's schedule. Overall, such a great find and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

The play area was clean and bright, and I had never really been inside an establishment that was quite like this. It's an excellent idea (and business model, I'm sure). I feel like Playroom Cafe fills a gap of having an indoor place where your kid(s) can socialize with others, but for the parents/adults, you have a comfortable place to sit, relax, socialize with others parents, or catch up on work emails or whatever things you'd like to do (they have wifi) and a cafe that serves drinks and sandwiches. And of course, it's a great place to throw an amazing birthday party all year long. Since we came as guests for a birthday party, we didn't pay admission but I looked at the rates and it was $17 for a kid (adult admission free with a kid). The check-in process was smooth (cubbies for shoes at the entrance, socks required) and an attendant greets you with an iPad to e-sign a few waivers. Easy peasy. There was a ball pit, and kid-sized kitchen area with pantry items, slides, things to ride like little trucks and trikes, a jumping contraption (like a mini trampoline but replace the trampoline with a giant inner tube that kids stand on, and kids can hold on to bars while they jump. Probably much safer than an actual trampoline, and my toddler LOVED this thing. There was also a play section for kids under 2 which was perfect for us. We ended up hanging out in this area (extra padded play area, extra padded slide and steps) for maybe 15 minutes, before my kid wanted to explore something else. All to say, this place was great as a birthday party guest, and I can see myself throwing a party here for my kiddo one day. There was a private and semi-private party room, and the play areas are open to paying customers, whether you're there for a party or not. I love that this is in Naperville, another really great kid-friendly spot for the family.
