Great lounge! Roomy, outdoors and fun! Doesn't look like much from the street view but go inside and check it out! Huge and spacious! Til the next one!

My parents love watching the game here.

I came here while visiting my parents over the holidays. It is a nice bar that borders Cambrian, San Jose and Campbell. There is a DJ on weekends and the prices for drinks are perfect. The shots are incredibly poured generously. I met some good people here and there is lots of activities to do besides drink like pool and lotto machines. Overall, I will come here every year when visiting my parents. There is a variety of cocktails and beers on tap to please anyone.

I'm sure that Eryn gets tired of me when I tell her, "surprise me," but every drink that she makes ends up being awesome.

Unfortunately I do not remember what I had...except for one that had "absinthe" which was obviously the fake American version of it. Each cocktail has a very thorough description so you can pick and choose to your liking. Every cocktail was about $17 each. Which is pricey! but that's how it is these days. But you should be assured the quality here is real good. I had to dock 1 star for the interesting choice of leaving the emergency door ajar all night the time i went. While it did help with the steamy temps inside, wow did it ruin the night for those who sit close to the door! It was very cold and windy so maybe leaving it too open was an uninformed choice. Parking is tricky, it's mostly street. There's some residential areas you can park at if you don't mind walking farther. Definitely going back, but a little farther away from the door next time.

Think dark…read morewood, glowing vintage lamps, neon, and a full-on taxidermy fever dream on the walls that somehow just works with the dive-bar energy. It was packed when we went, music was up, people were actually dancing, and it definitely had that "everyone's here to have a night" vibe. Drinks were strong, reasonably priced, and the bartenders were moving fast but still friendly. Between the crowd, the playlist, and the quirky decor, it's an easy spot to lose a few hours with friends. That said, they really need to get the bathroom situation under control. When we were there, the restroom was completely flooded and honestly pretty atrocious, with a long line snaking out the door. On top of that, the security guy working the door was aggressive and unnecessarily rude, which kills the buzz a bit when the energy inside is otherwise so fun. Overall, I'd still give Khartoum 4 stars because the drinks, atmosphere, and lively crowd make it a solid go-to bar in Campbell - especially if you're into a hip-but-divey spot with lots of character and taxidermy everywhere you look. But if they cleaned up the bathrooms and smoothed out the attitude at the door, it would be an easy 5-star hangout.

The fries came out crispy and hot. The housemade mayo was creamy and rich, and honestly elevated the whole dish. They also serve hot honey wings, four wings for $5 during happy hour. Unfortunately the staff is not friendly. Now given I was there on a Friday during HH and before a popular movie, I can understand being busy but I truly felt like a bother. After ordering two drinks I also order two appetizers to which the bartender rolled her eyes at. Other than the less than decent service, one of the drinks we ordered had boba in it but served with small paper straw that the boba couldn't go through. Maybe I'm being petty about this one but the drinks also just didn't hit? They seemed pre-batched and lacked good flavor. We ordered wings and nachos. Wings had a weird texture and the nachos were mid. Two happy hour appetizers and two drinks were $65. While it's very convenient, there's so many other options in the Pruneyard, don't waste your time here.

No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.

The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. Whether you're there for a chill night out or a proper evening, this place delivers both without making you choose.

I think traditionally, you need reservations for Cielo, but their Winter Experience (ran through December and mid-January) is first-come, first-served. The Winter Experience is a Christmas-themed set-up - very tastefully and beautifully decorated - with Christmas music (even 2 weeks after the New Year). the tables along the edge have small in-table fire pits AND a tall heated furnace - you will not be cold in December. these tables do require a minimum spend of $50 per person, which we came into this expecting that regardless - however, it sounds like you can sit at any of the other tables without this minimum spend, though you will only have a blanket for warmth. the sunset was beautiful, though keep in mind that we do live in a city, and there are other tall buildings around, so don't set your expectations too high. Overall, we are so happy we finally checked this place out, and that we were able to do so during the Winter Experience. We did find it overpriced (considering it's at Hotel Valencia... we weren't surprised) for what you get. I tried one cocktail (~$20) that tasted like a flavored soda, before switching to wine; my husband had 2 Old Fashioned, they were both made differently but both good. The food was good - small, shareable portions. We're happy to have finally stopped in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come again. HOW TO GET THERE: enter Hotel Valencia from the ground floor; take the elevator to Floor 3; go straight down the hall, pass the front desk on your left, to the second set of elevators; take that to the top floor

When compared to the APRÈS VILLAGE experience at the Four Seasons, it doesn't come close. The food menu is very limited, and food took quite a while to come out.
