I have been a frequent visitor of Normandy House Bar for 2 years now. The bartenders here are amazing and always create a welcoming atmosphere. That is why I am saddened to hear about the recent news on Trinity. Trinity has always created a welcoming atmosphere and provides the best customer service. She always looks after her customers and makes sure they have a wonderful experience at Normandy. I have always seen Trinity treat people with dignity and respect. I am visiting from Beverly Hills , CA (LA). I came in for a beer after the Niners game at Levi . My ID is expired. Should've been a simple "no" but the bar tender had a MELTDOWN. I have an entire video of the Entire thing. the blue haired bartender there going on an an anti semitic rant and screaming at me and having a full on melt down lol about my "rich shit" and "Jewish self". I have it all on video. It was INSANE lol, just a complete unhinged melt down. She was entirely intoxicated too. Debating whether to like share this video with local media or something, it was INSANE!!! DJ RICHIE RICH 10/10!! My friends & I randomly stumbled upon this spot. Staff was friendly, nice selection of activities to engage in. Spacious dance floor! But what really made our night & got us to stay until closing was the DJ. He was playing such fun music, took song requests, engaged with the crowd and you could just tell he really loves what he's doing!! Music is the biggest part of going out & if it weren't for the back to back bangers he kept playing I don't think we would've stayed as long as we did. I used to enjoy going to this place for a drink, some pool and darts. That was before the remodel. Not sure who's idea that was but it's not comfortable. Mismatched tables. Ginormous screen cutting off the gaming area. Dirty pool tables and old arcade games now. A karaoke booth in the middle of the place makes it feel off and there is absolutely zero flow to the place. Even worse is a loud, obnoxious and unprofessional bartender named Patty. She is rude unless she's practically making out with "regular" male patrons. On several occasions that I've been there, I can walk up to an empty bar with maybe 1-4 patrons at the far end of the bar where Patty practically lives and gossips about people, and am made to wait for up to 10 minutes without even so much as of an acknowledgment from her. Sometimes Patty will walk by me a few times to get ingredients to make 2nd or 3rd drinks for her regulars and continue to ignore me. I think in the last 2 years she and I have only ever spoken once. Last time I was there, my drink was accidentally spilled by another patron. When we asked for a mop to help clean up the spill, Patty gruffly responded that the mop was being used for something else and continued to walk around the bar to greet more of her friends. It took nearly 5 whole minutes before she stomped over to our area with paper towels and while complaining audibly started to wipe up the spill. I offered multiple apologies and to help clean it up but was ignored. After the spill was wiped up, we noticed the floor was still sticky. My partner asked for some kind of cleaning solution and I got more paper towels and we finished cleaning the sticky floor. After the spill was resolved, we continued to play pool and decided we would play some music. Not more than 45 seconds into our first song choices, Patty turned the volume down to an almost inaudible level. Only when she played more music did she turned the volume back up as she had the entire time we were there. I normally don't post reviews but this bartender is absolutely the worst in my opinion and I'm at a point where neither I nor my friends feel comfortable visiting this establishment anymore read more

I've been wanting to update my review so here I go I was there with 3 of my buddies last week the lady I believe that was helping up named trinity. As we are waiting for our check it took over 30 minutes for what ever reason it wasn't busy at all. Next to me I seen her get into an argument with another lady wanting to pay and she trinity was really rude to her as well as us . Then she threw a glass that was filled in her face . She need to be let go from there . And not just us we're waiting to pay so was that couple . I will not come back for that reason . We usually come in 2 days a week and spend money but I'll take my buisness somewhere else . No customer should ever get treated that way . I believe she said she was the manager. the bartender was incredibly rude. she stuck her hand in my drink and flung it on another customer after i set it down. absolutely no grace for my honest mistake of setting it down on a pool table. she threatened to charge me $500 for the mistake. i've never played pool in my life. she had absolutely no understanding and started yelling at me. so incredibly rude and mind you the bar was empty. she called security to escort us out. security was lovely, but i would never recommend this place because of the nasty attitude of the bartender. we spent $$$$ on drinks, but she stuck her hand in them and was incredibly rude towards us. i absolutely would not recommend this place. do not come, and i wish i could give 0 stars. read more

This is an Adult Bar and I witnessed Trinity the bar tender reduce the liability to the bar and the health risk to a customer by asking firmly for the customer to take his nitrous hit device outside because it causes users to pass out. This is a lovely dive bar with a ton of seating and plenty of games for visitors to enjoy, including a wall full of dartboards, air hockey, two pool tables, and a few arcade games (though these were dark/unplugged on a Sunday afternoon)... no shuffleboard on site as of Jan 2024. We played some darts and billiards during our time at Normandy, and had a boatload of fun while getting tipsy off some standard cocktails (slow but friendly service). You can ask for darts at the bar and can play for free if you don't wanna keep score, but to actually play the different dart games (ie. cricket) and keep score, you'll need to pay cash. It's cheap though, and so are the pool tables. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's clean, modern, and spacious inside, with the games and machines in working order and in very good condition, except for a couple of the dart boards super sensitive to touch, so if pulling off darts, it would count as a miss on the next player's turn (we didn't have this problem with the red machines though). My gal pals and I never been to a dive bar, but this was the most fun we've had out of all the bars we been to. There were pool tables, some arcade games, darts and an amazing dj (Dj Richie Rich). What more could you want for a fun night out? The staff was friendly, we even had the bartender dance with us at one point. His mixes and choice of music had my girls and I dancing, having a grand time, which compelled others to also come on the dance floor with us! Went there this past weekend and seen a bartender explode over customers sitting at a back table. I tried telling them they weren't the problem and didn't do what they were being accused of. She shouldn't be working in a bar with anger issues. She was screaming all over the place and swearing on the PA system. Accusing customers while they were just sitting. I was looking for a place to have some drinks and appetizers to catch up with an old friend and came across this neat looking place, thinking it would be perfect: only to be utterly disappointed. The service I witnessed occur to one of the other customers has left me beyond shocked at how this place serves and treats their people. I was there when a previous review mentioned how a bartender reacted to an ID situation and can honestly say that the bartender was in the wrong. I work in the customer service industry and cannot fathom being spoken to the way this employee spoke to a customer, let alone ever speaking to someone this way! I have to respect the female customer for keeping her calm and well manners. The bartender was YELLING at these guests and this nice lady and even mentioned RACE!? She said something along the lines of a form of identification being "a Mexican ID card" (For the record, I am Caucasian and I don't find this acceptable in ANY way if that matters to anyone) In no way shape or form should race even be brought up nowadays. At a place to eat or drink. I was left feeling EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Not only for myself but for other guests around me too. And feeling sorry for the guests who ended up having to leave because of the actions of this bartender. If you're going to treat your guests this way, I don't recommend anyone coming to this place. This happened I believe around 10pm on Monday July 11. I hope the actions of the bartender are addressed and reprimanded because this was completely unacceptable to the paying customers. For a fact, you've lost 2 customers already and will not be recommended. read more

What could improve?...... Everything! I was charged $31 for a double shot of VS brandy, which I was thinking I could buy a liter at Costco for less. When I voiced my thought out loud, the unwarranted, unprovoked response from the bartender was, verbatim, "Drink your f#%ing drink and get the f#%k out of here." I didn't see that coming. I had not been disrespectful, nor rude. As I walked with my friend to close her tab, the bartender charged from behind the bar and continued again unprovoked with another round of verbal abuse. Shamefully I did react and responded in kind. At that point I was pushed from behind and then escorted to the front door. Happy to leave. Happy to never return. And happy to warn anyone, considering a visit to the Normandy, that this is one of the ugliest unprofessional personalities behind a bar (or any profession) you could ever imagine. I didn't try the food, but the taco truck in the back parking lot along with a gate, blocks the Newhall egress forcing all patrons of this little strip mall to enter from a busy intersection. One of the bartenders were off the clock drunk and basically chased us out of there, I would say this was an odd and maybe one time experience (people have bad days) but as a regular customer I won't be returning thanks to her. I've dealt with her multiple times and she has always given me problems and even when I'm not there my friends always have problems with her.
