I was going to a doctor's appointment at Hackensack Meridian when my car just stopped at the intersection of Essex and Prospect Streets in Hackensack. My car was towed to Courthouse Auto Body, and the experience was wonderful. Joshua and Mike were so helpful in diagnosing the problem. Mike drove me home in lieu of me using Uber. The car was ready for pickup in one day. Upon getting my car, Josh drove the car to the front door of the shop. All I had to do was go out the door and jump in the car. Nightmare Josh and his father ripped me off I was in a said they can repair my car. They lied. They stole all my money destroyed. My car was unable to use it and dismissed me. They got 13,000 for storage $4000 from me insurance And I had to rent a car for $3000 for five months and they wouldn't even help me with the car rental they spray paint the bottom of my car. They didn't put parts in it right I didn't the lights were on. They totally destroyed my car. I'm a senior. I've been crying I have no car because of these people asking for my money back to get a car and dismissed me lied about it could be repaired. get prepared I could've kept my money from the And got a different car. All they do is ignore and don't care and scam people. It's horrible. I reason with them just to give me my money back so I can get a car. Do not use them. Very nice and great guy. I had a windshield wiper arm that needed to be removed and I couldn't get it off for the life of me. Do Not recommend this service. Had to get a car towed a short distance off of the highway. The tower was a complete jerk. He started to say that we could only pay him cash because he didn't have the card reader. I refused that since I did not carry $125 in cash on me. Had to get the police involved as the town law stated that he could not just demand cash payment when he ordinarily accepts card payment. After the police got involved he finally relented. Had a wonderful experience with this auto body shop from Alena (office admin) to the owners. My car came out looking just as good as new. They informed me every step of the way as to how long it would take and delivered on that promise. They even found a dollar when they vacuumed the car and put it in my glove box. Integrity, honesty and results is what you can expect from this shop. I will be referring my friends and family. My father in law lives in the area in NJ and asked me to take my car here. Horrible and rude people. They did not want to even look at the car - had a price in mind first ! This place is highly unethical at its best. They kept our car for WEEKS and told us a bunch of ridiculous lies about the manufacturer sending the wrong parts repeatedly. When we finally got our car back, they weren't able to produce the documents for the insurance company and we were stuck with over $600 in rental fees. Accidents are a stressful time for everyone involved and honestly Court House Auto Body took out the stress of getting my vehicle repaired entirely. They were jot just quick, responsive and effective but they made us feel like family the entire time. Do to some unfortunate circumstances my wife and I had four repairs done here which all were done so quick we didnt even need to rent a car. In september i was involved in a major motor vehicle accident that resulted in major surgery, and Court House not only took care of everything for me, but they also checked up on my health. 10/10 in all areas! read more

How convenient and great that we have Court House Auto body in my my city, not only is it close to my home but it was also no problem getting bringing in my car for repair and leaving without any hassle. I think they went above and beyond with the amazing job the did to my vehicle . I thought I was leaving with a brand new car they way they resurrected it from its prior conditions. This was the Second time my father made me bring my car here to get fixed, the first time I got my car back a mess on the driver door took a year for my door to go back to black, they also did the paint job wrong so the right side of my car is different from the left but this will be the last time I ever bring my car here! Ever again! First of all I took my car there and it sat for a week straight not touched once, then I get my car back and all my windows are full of over spray from the painter what type of company doesn't cover the car or protect it when being painted, then!! I see they broke my speakers inside the car didn't even let me know also they fixed a rim of mine acting like it was a favor when they just messed up my stud and didn't even bother telling me just another thing Ima have to pay for! I really recommend to watch your back when you bring your vehicle to this place every single time brought it here I got it back worse. If there was a ZERO for a rating, this is what I would give them. We have been waiting several weeks for a car to be repaired. Every time we call they tell us a different story ... the paint has to dry, a part has to be delivered, it will be ready Wednesday, then Monday, then Friday. Never a straight answer!! I got late in writing this well deserving review but here I am with my 2 cents about these awesome guys :) I ran into a wooden pole while reversing my Rav4 as I was new to SUV so I couldnt judge it better resulting into a broken bumper ( from the corner) and also it came off the hook which holds it in place. I went to 4 Bodyshops in hackensack like D&S , Ricco , Class A and one more. They all gave me quote which was atleast $200+ than waht I was offered here. but that was not the only thing because of which I chose Courthouse over all the other. courthouse also promised me that they will fix my car in 2 days ( which I needed coz the same weekend my mom in law was coming ;) ) My car was new again and in a perfect way , they also washed the car and the mats .. basically they did a PHENOMENAL JOB. Have been using Hackensack Courthouse auto body since 1998 (repair of an Acura Vigor), I have not been to another auto body shop since. My latest repair on a 2014 Honda Civic was as expected, AWESOME, like all my previous repairs through out the years. I admit I have obtained other quotes and flirted with using others shops, but the service, performance and work detail is just superb at Courthouse. I have been coming to courthouse autobody for 15 years! I always feel like family. I can ask any questions from 5 mins after opening to 5 mins before closing. Any repair is explained to me in detail. Their work is excellent and they have never let me down. my car is always ready as promised. If you are in the market for some auto body work I would NOT recommend using Courthouse Auto body. From my experience the work they do is of poor quality and they do not get the job done in a timely manor. I was in an accident in the beginning of April this year and not only did it take them more then a month to complete the repairs the work they did was what I would expect from a novice not to mention they also did more damage to the car. When I picked up my car I noticed all 4 of the hub caps were now scratched up from someone hitting curbs when parking the car. These scratches were definitely a result of Courthouse employees poor driving skills as I had pictures taken from the accident and the hub caps were scratch free before the car went to their auto body shop also one of the hub caps looked like someone took a bite out of it and the owner told me he would order me a replacement and call me when it got in. Here it is almost 5 months later and I have yet to receive a phone call from him and I have called him about the matter, but he does not return my calls. Another part of their low quality work I'd like to mention was the new head liner they installed. The main reason they took as long as they did was because they claimed the headliner was damaged badly in the accident and needed to be replaced, so not only did this take forever to be done the "new" headliner is covered in grease spots and when they put the visors back on they did so the wrong way. There are indents in the headliner you can easily follow to install the visors, but whoever installed these did so in a crooked fashion so now when I pull down my visor the mirror is positioned perfectly for the passenger to see them self and my passenger side visor is positioned for me to see myself in the mirror. Maybe someone needs to let them know that the little mirror on the visor is for the person sitting in front of it not the person sitting next to them. Finally, somehow the tire censor for the rear passenger side tire was no longer functioning properly when the car was returned to me. This is not the side I was hit on, so I am not sure why it was not working anymore, but when I brought this to their attention they basically told me there was nothing they could do to help me and i ended up paying the Chevy dealership to replace it.... All in all my experience with Courthouse Auto body was very unpleasant and though the work is shotty at best the most upsetting part was how unprofessional the owner of the business was when it came to resolving my issues. The only thing that mattered to him was getting the check from the insurance company and once that was done he was not concerned one bit about things being done the right way. read more
