Last Sunday, our car starter died at Costco Gas, so we had it towed to Nick's. They called first thing the next day, explained the issue, gave a clear estimate, and had us back on the road the same day. This week, we brought our other car in for an oil change. So, he inspected the car right away, affixed the sticker to my windshield, and now I can drive around Massachusetts burning it up going 56 in a 55-mph zone, blasting Cardi B. songs from my iPhone, and sipping Diet Coke neat, no ice. The first experience was having the business do an oil change on the car that I did not ask for. When I addressed this initially the owner told me that I did ask for the service. However, he did not persist and told me there would be no charge. My recent experience was going in to ask for the AC drain to be cleared because it was clogged. They cleared the drain and called to tell me that my AC needed to be charged for $468. I was working and not thinking so I agreed. That was the mistake that I made. I had recently returned from a 14 hour trip in the car and the AC was working fine. Nice and cold. Since they charged the AC i no longer have AC in the car. I have addressed this with the owner. The first time he stated that I asked for the service and told him my AC was not working. That is why they did the AC charge. This was not true. I left the car to be worked on and the owner stated that they overcharged the AC and the condenser kept starting and stopping because of this. He removed freone and it calmed down. This week the condenser is not firing at all. I returned to the owner and told him of the problem. He said it would take 2 days to work on the car and figure it out. I asked for a refund and told him I did not want to do business with him anymore. He informed me that he could not process a refund. I told him I will be sure to post a review. He said he did not care because the neighborhood trusts him. This business is not honest. You will pay for service that is not needed and have new problems with your car.

I just had the worst experience at this location trying to get an inspection sticker. They failed…read moremy car that has practicly a new muffler stating that there was a leak. After, I went to a muffler shop that inspected the muffler and the muffler shop said that there were no issues with it. Mind you that this wasn't even the muffler shop that installed the muffler so there is no bias here. I returned back to the Gulf station with the document from the muffler shop and they still refused to give me a passing sticker. They then refused to take my car down off of the lift when I wanted to leave. After finally getting my car off the lift I then went to another inspection station that passed it with no problem. The workers at the Gulf station were very confrontational and rude. The mechanic stated to me that "I do it all"
