I'll never go do car inspections this place again. Second time I go to do inspection and they find problems that don't exist and fail . The goal of this place is to have more " work for the mechanics". Even if it was a fair price maybe it would be something but he practices absurd prices for parts that cost 10 percent of what he charges. Run away from this place, especially if you are a woman. Twice Intergas has made suspension repairs to my older toyota ( two separate issues) that other shops did not want to do due to age and mileage of the car Both times they did a great job at a very fair price The repairs were completed as promised My older high mileage vehicle is still driving just fine thanks to them For what appears to be just a small gas station they did a great job on my repairs. worst service ever, went to pass the inspection got rejected without any explanation, the guy barely spoke any English. Week later i stop by to put some gas, it's a full service, i did specifically ask the girl to put premium (same no english, EarPods in the ear and didn't care) when I checked she did regular, didn't even put back my gas cap, 2 days later i got a check engine light ....:( read more

Friendly gas pump attendant, I was surprised when I realized this is a full service gas station because they are much cheaper than the Mobil down the street. Anyway, this is the last gas station you will see before the ferry boats in Wood's Hole. Fill up here so you don't need to buy really expensive gas on the island. Driveway is a little dangerous with all the roads at an angle/curve. read more

I was sent to Intergas today by Town Fair Tire to deal with an unusual issue. I needed my tires replaced and discovered that they locking lug nuts on the tires. These guys took me in and immediately got the car up on the rack. I was there for over an hour and was amazed watching these guys interact with their customers. I have been using these guys as auto mechanics on and off for about 8 years and accidentally decided to check out the reviews on Yelp. I was truly shocked. My experience has been better then great. I don't know much about cars, so I have to trust my mechanic. These guys have been nothing short of amazing! Never overcharge me, remind me to get my car inspected when I get gas. I've been using these guys for repairs, inspection, oil & filter, etc. for years now. They have always been friendly, reliable and honest. Probably the biggest plus is that the work is done on the same day the car went to the shop....That's huge. If there's a problem with a repair, they fix it and don't charge extra....Again huge. read more

Intergas is my go to for car repairs and questions - I even live in Boston now and will use needing an inspection as a reason to pop down to Falmouth to bring my car in. The employees are kind and helpful, I have had some serious car repair work done in the past year on my ancient Volvo - all the break pads needed to be replaced, the muffler and the catalytic converter needed to be repaired, the horn was broken. All the repairs were done in excellent time and reasonably priced. In one instance we had a miscommunication about how much the work was going to cost/ what work was being done and they comped me on the labor costs. Plus, they are a full serve gas station which is very convenient when the weather is bad! read more

My husband and I have recently moved to the area, so we were looking for a new auto mechanic. We were very happy with our previous mechanic and trusted them completely. Through Facebook recommendations we went to Intergas and merely requested a simple oil change and a mass inspection sticker. I went to pick up the vehicle and received a bill for $511.96 - seriously!!!! The bill read oil change & fluid $44.95 , state inspection $35.00, Air filter $31.30, spark plugs $102.36 (at no time did anyone mention spark plugs), replacing spark plug & air filter, chekc ok $285.00, tax $13.35 - Wow, did we get taken. I was going to take another car there this week, obviously that won't be happening. The 2 men that we spoke to acted as if they didn't quite understand what we were saying, however, they were able to write up the bill just fine. read more

Bought a car here for a reasonable price and within less than a year found it had horrible head gasket issues and needed about $2k in repairs. I asked if there was anything wrong with it, and was told no. It was my first car and I got burnt big time. I wouldn't trust or buy anything from this place again- buyer beware. read more

I needed a rack and pinion for my Volvo S40, they did a great job! They also broke my air bag censor accidentally while replacing the rack an pin. They told me it was there fault-ordered a new censor called me when it was in and they replaced the censor for no cost. Due to the censor being broken the air bag light on my dash was on I would have brought it back and they could have charged me for he censor and the labor. The fact that they admitted to breaking the censor says something about this place. Had a great experience here and I will return!! read more
