Service rep lied to me for five consecutive days. Worst service center I've ever been on.

I attempted to complete a "no hassle" "no haggle" deal obtained through USAA auto buying service. At first they said sure, no problem, we have the exact vehicle in stock, we will honor your "guaranteed savings certificate" However, when I tried to complete the deal, they came back with a completely non-discounted (and completely noncompetitive) price, and tried to negotiate a new deal. Not what I signed up for and not what I was willing to drive 4 hours to pick up. They claimed USAA/Truecar made a mistake, but it turns out they themselves entered the price wrong. And then completely refused to make any concession for their error, in fact lying and claiming the error was not theirs. These are not honorable people. I would not trust them or waste my time dealing with them. They do not stand by their deals. read more

I had a great online buying experience at Courtesy with Jay Farmer when I purchased my 2017 Raptor. Jay has been doing it a long time and didn't try to lay a bunch of sales stuff on me that would turn me off. We negotiated via email and phone and Jay was extremely responsive to questions and messages. Horrible service. I needed a window seal replaced on a Ford Explorer. I called to make an appointment and took a day off work to bring it in. I brought my car in at the scheduled time and then they took a good half hour to figure out what needed to be done. They kept mentioning they needed diagnostics. Diagnostics, on a window seal, that was a clearly visible problem to the naked eye. There were no special lights on the dash. I don't know what was needed to diagnose the problem. Then told me they didn't have the parts in stock to fix it and wouldn't have any available until June 18th. It was just one colossal waste of my time. I would think prior to scheduling an appointment you'd ensure you have the materials in stock to fix the problem. The other dealership I called after this one, did just that, asked the vin, checked stock for parts, and then scheduled the appointment. It didn't seem to be that hard. read more

Worst place in Conyers! We have had issues with our Ford F-150 with the battery dying out of the blue. The old service manager Knew our issue and we were waiting on a loaner vehicle so they could put it in the shop to trace down the problem. We called today to check on the status of a loaner and SURPRISE the old service manager has retired! Now a new guy is there and RUDE as ever! Says if they can't find the problem they will charge us for the loaner vehicle! He says it's just bad batteries! 4 batteries in 3 years!!! Do NOT buy anything from this place! Would not recommend anyone to purchase from this place. They lie, mislead and run scandals on their customers. They offer to buy back your vehicle and pay over the amount just to get you in their sales office knowing they arent really going to do that at all. This company is very misleading and I feel thats not a way to do business!!!! I give two stars cause well the sales team is awesome.. The service side of things is where they lack. I took my truck there and after the 3rd day they still had not even touched it. I had it towed somewhere else. Again the sales side is great. That's why I gave them a independent 4 stars.. If you are just going for a oil change you will be ok. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM COURTESY FORD CONYERS. THEY SCAMMED ME FOR 1000$. Located at 1636 Dogwood Dr SE, Conyers, GA 30013. I ask that everyone share this to make sure no one else gets cheated. On December 24th 2015, I walked into Courtesy Ford Conyers with a close friend who had worked at a car dealership for four years. I knew exactly what I wanted. A used 2012 Ford Fiesta SE Charcoal Black. I had wanted this car for about a month and it was perfect! I took it for a test drive, even looked up the price on the dealerships website, which was listed for approximately 8000$. I noticed however, the paper posted on the window said 10,000$. When I said I wanted the car for 8,000$ the salesman, Tony Goody, said the car was listed 10,000$. I told him the price online said 8,000$ at which point he agreed and said then you get the internet price. At this point, I was sitting in his office with my friend next to me. The three of us started talking deals and after about an hour and a half of negotiation Tony and I came to the agreement of 8500$ for the car after taxes and fees. I would pay 1000$ down and 7500$ financed through a loan from USAA, my preferred bank, due to the fact that they couldn't find any bank that would finance through them. When we finished negotiating he took us to the finance office where I was to sign my papers. Tony left to finish some paperwork while I was rushed through signing my receipt by another gentleman. It was a pleasurable yet rushed experienced, by the time I got to the finance office they dealership had turned off the lights and were telling me to hurry and sign my receipts. Rushed, I scanned through the papers not noticing the receipt (the only piece of paper I have in my possession with the price on it) had the price at the bottom of "Balance of Cash Price" at 8500$. I read this as the car being 8500$. However, I did not notice that 7 lines above was a SUB TOTAL of 9500$. Due to this, I now have to borrow 1000$ from my parents because either I pay them today or I take the car back today. When I tried to talk to them about the error they made they would not agree to anything me or my friend said, and did not listen at all. I have never had an issue here, why I always bring both off my cars and will continue to do so. Service is friendly, they are patient and have a sense of humor. They do feel like they are looking out for me. Have saved me some money, told me about deals I wasn't aware of and kept my laughing. Not easy when you are dealing with "car trouble." Several issues went I bought my new Explorer. The sales team and body shop fixed all my issues. Satisfied with the price and service.

Under no circumstance would I ever purchase another vehicle from this dealership. My morther-inlaw and I had purchase two vehicles from this location...a mini van and a Ford F150. When I purchase the truck it was raining that day and I notice the back seats were soak and wet. I also notice water damage on the hoodliner. It was explained to me that they were detailing the car and cleaning the seats. I dismissed it and took the truck home..... Well I was taking my son to school the other day and it was poring down raining and he was sitting in the back seat. He stated that it was leaking in the truck. He was getting soak in the back seat. Well I did some researching and found out that this was a huge problem with this make and model Truck.....there are tons of information about this problem with the Ford F150's I printed out 6 sheets of testimony concerning people with this problem. The 3rd break light was the problem.....the gasket around the casing is cheap and wears out so I took the truck back to the dealership and they were totally oblivious to the problem. The attendant blew me off and told me I would have to pay to have it repaired. They knew about this problem but they sold these cars anyway.......please don't think Im just a mad customer....I just want them to be fair and do the right thing. FORD OWNERS BEWARE THERE IS NO SERVICE HERE It is sad to say that I have frequented this dealership for a variety of reasons for the maintenance of my 2006 Ford Mustang. I used to regularly come in for oil changes, parts, and other services but in the last year the level of quality service has gone down to nearly none. I brought my vehicle in yesterday for service and only received a sheet a paper with a ridiculously inflated estimate. No one explained to me why such parts would need to be replaced and to what degree was the wear on existing parts. When I tried to call and resolve some of my questions regarding my estimate, the technician did not come to the phone and after three day has not returned my call. Speaking with anyone else did not provide any results because only that one person knew the details. Such a disappointing experience and above all a waste of my personal time and hard earned money. read more

I am very unhappy thus far with my experience with this service department. I brought my car in on Saturday morning for a diagnostic for my power steering system. I would have preferred to go to the Chevy dealership I purchased the car from, and had been using for service, but they told me I had to bring it to Ford for this particular issue. I dropped the car off at 7:30 AM. It is now TUESDAY and my car has not even been touched yet. Everytime I call, the service associate that has been assigned to me tells me she will call me back and she has not one time called me back. I keep calling back and am told the dispatcher called in sick and they are backed up. Not my problem. My rental car fees are getting higher by the day while my car just sits there with nothing happening. I will be going back today to pick this car up with nothing having been done and I am trading it in for a Chevy. At least I know with Chevy, the dealership I use has outstanding Customer Service and a quick service department that does not hold onto you car for days while doing nothing to it. This dealership has me no longer wanting to even drive a Ford. read more

I'm a little late with my review but better late than never. I'm still surprise how these guys work with me to get my 2014 Chevrolet Sonic. Tony and Devron treated me like family. I'm use to getting turned down by big dealership because of past credit problem. When they told me I was approved I couldn't believe it. Let me add I stay in Charlotte NC in they delivered the car to me. I'm so bless to have them as my car salesman. Who needs carvana when you can go to Courtesy Ford and ask for Tony or Devron. was just looking at a 2016 ford fusion but ending up getting a 2014 ford escape.... both cars drove really good.... had a hard time choosing between the two... the sell guy was really helpful ... but did not like how try to get me to finance with them.... i had already had my finance with the bank.. in the end they could only save me 20.00 , it was not worth it... when to pick the car up , to me the sell guys seem like he was in a rush to finished with me, to go back and finished with the other people he has sitting at his table....need more infromation on how to work or programing the radio , to set up another phone on the car.. but other that the car is great .. would buy again.,.... the finance guy was really great to work with the paper work.... read more

I had two problem: One was service department. I had my car infor Conditioning repair. (I could not get pre aprovial price of fixing it.) When I went to pick up the car I found the price was more then double for repair that I could have had it one else where. I should have known; last year I had it in for rear bearing/hub repair. That time they gave me a quote. I was near $1,000! I told them the were not competive and I will pick up th car. In the end they came down in the price to around $600.00. It should have told me they were padding their price! Two: When I took my car in for repairs I saw a vehicle I was interested in so I then proceeded to negotiate. I have never found a dealer so ummmm disinterested. Everyother car dealer on same trype vheicle I found they were interested in my business. I have bought 20 plus luxury cars in my life, I am no cheap skate! and I usually have good relations with a dealer. In exchange I am loyal to them. I bought 5 MB from the same dealer over the years. My Ford dealer had moved or gone out of business so I was in the market for new dealership. In my opinion between their service/noservice department and poor attatude from used/new car depatments.
