Awful experience and terrible customer service. I contacted this dealership to advise them I was interested in car. That night, I completed the credit application and requested some additional information on the car. The salesman advised me he would contact me in the morning so they can review the credit application and get together the additional information I requested. The next day I received a call that someone had put a deposit on the car that morning and unfortunately I needed to look into another car or wait to see if the person purchased the vehicle. Unfortunately this sales rep never mentioned to me that a deposit was needed and had my credit application in hand. I would of definitely put a deposit down if I knew that was the process. That afternoon I called the sales rep to see if the car was actually sold. I was advised that it was. I called the store manager to express my concern and never received a return call. This whole experience was frustrating. No sympathy or apology from this dealership. Never again!!!! read more

I went to Courtesy Ford today with high expectations and left with another bad experience at a Ford dealer. The car i was interested in was on CarGurus at $34000 but after they valued my trade in ($8000 lowest so far of all the dealerships) I was going to have to pay $$48000!!! I know I am upside down oweing $14000 but where did the other$8000 come from. Do people actually fall for this? Come on people do the math! If something doesn't look right take a step back and look at the numbers! This location has no communication skills, specifically in the service department. My dad came here in regards to an issue with his F-150 and it took about 2 weeks to hear back from anyone. They told us the car didn't report any problems, so then we towed the car back again and now they found a throttle body problem and a gasket problem. But, I had to come in to speak to someone because nobody was calling or picking up our phone calls to let us know the diagnostic. The person who "assisted" me was Kim Jones and she kept lying about the situation. I also want to mention that the person who we spoke with at first was a man with a cigarette in his mouth and barely made any eye contact. I'm not exactly sure what customer service standards they uphold here, but there needs to be a re-training program put in place for the staff that works with customers. This place is very unprofessional and I will have to drive further away to Covington and give my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I recently bought out my lease here, and after the expected (but not too pushy) sales pitch to try and sell me a new car, they were very helpful and we got everything taken care of fairly efficiently. However, they failed to submit the correct paperwork so there was a significant delay in getting the title. It has taken several phone calls, emails, voicemails and follow ups on my part to get updates on this. Despite the fact that it was their error, they don't seem to putting forth much effort to resolve the issue. Overall, an initially great but ultimately frustrating experience. Just lowered this to one star as their errors have now affected my credit report. They are friendly but incompetent. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

I dropped my car off for a issue with my control monitor my car became undriveable . My advisor sucks and just acts like he hates his job , always saying he's gonna call me back but doesn't . I purchased my 2019 ford fusion less than a year ago with an extended warranty. I went in for an oil change a couple months ago, and my car started to have a rumble and a cricket noise on the passenger side vehicle. Got a loaner car, waited a month with no call back on the situation, so I decided to pay a visit. Kennard told me they removed a bolt that was "rattling around inside" and that I also needed all new tires for $1400. Oh and, I didn't have an extended warranty (I literally do). Also, requesting to get my car to me took over an hour. Like bro, just drive it to me what the fuck are y'all doing. Anyway, I went over to a local mechanic shop and he replaced my BRAKES for $400 (it wasn't the tires). No more rumbling. In addition, when I drove my car, the rattling sound was still there, so they lied about the sound and "removing a bolt". Do they think i'm an idiot? Yes. I'm a 19 year old girl with 0 car experience so of course they would take advantage of the situation. After they told me the price I had a moment to say a few choice words to myself out of frustration and they were super quiet. Then I caved in and they were ECSTATIC "yay! we got the dumba$$ to buy the overpriced tires!". I was so close to buying the tires, but my husband was like nah f that. Upon declining the $1400 offer for tires, the service specialist became hostile. "Now we have to pay for the loaner car" and complaining like wtf? I came in from out of town with the need for a front blower motor for my climate control system on my Ford Explorer. Jen from service didn't have one in stock but allowed me to get one from another dealer so I could get it installed late on a Saturday (they close the repair shop at 3) and I believe and I got it to them around 1:30 PM and they had it in and ready to go by 3 and only $250 cost. WORST Ford Dealership ever. In August of 2020, I purchased a "Certified' used vehicle. I should have walked out when the finance guy tried to get me to sign for a higher interest rate than agreed upon. The GM at the time took care of the issue. Not even 6 months later, while driving my 2018 Ford Escape something happened and it jerked into on truck coming the opposite direction. Thankfully, I was able to get it back to my lane but when I came to the next stop, and I tried driving it died. I kept trying to get it to go so I could get out of the street, which the police asked me to do. I did get some sort of an alert about an incline issue and the front left huge bolt (cannot remember the name) popped. When I went to the dealership, I was told repeatedly that I had to hit something for this "bolt" to break. It was very insulting. I will say that the dealership did incur the cost of fixing this issue. (I later received a Recall letter, and the reason for the recall was exactly what had happened to me.) I now have another issue. My car started having issues where you could be driving down the road and it would come close to stopping or barely run. I explained the issue to the service man, and he said that a diagnostic test and if there was something that was not covered under my warranty (btw I purchased the extended warranty). The day I brought my car on December 7, 2021, I received a text letting me know who my contact was. This is the only communication I have received from Courtesy Ford in Conyers. I called on 12/14 and could not get anyone to answer and it would go to a voicemail for a cashier in service. I never received a call back from anyone in service. I sent a text asking for an update and was told they were waiting on parts. Nothing about if I was going to be responsible for anything. I called numerous times & left another message on the cashiers' voicemail. Once again, no response. I called on 12/22, did the same thing as on the 21st and no one in service would answer. I did speak to one person and that was Savannah (she answers the calls for the dealership) she was bound and determined to find someone to talk to me. She was able to locate the service manager and he did call me. I asked for an update and was told that my transmission needed to be replaced and they were waiting on 2 parts. The parts had been shipped and should be there in 2 days and my service contact will be getting with me at the 1st of the following week. I asked him if this was covered under my warranty, and he said it would depend on how many miles were on the vehicle. (There is less than 52k miles and I had put may be 6k - 7k since I bought it.) Today, I opened a claim with the Ford Customer Service department. Next step, the BBB. read more

While this happened some time ago, it's a story worth telling. The individual at the time who oversaw service, (I don't know if he's still with the dealership), fired one his maintenance supervisor. I had taken my Explorer in for several services and repairs, (the car was garbage and I discovered a new warning light every time I got in on the road), one of which was the ongoing problem with the brakes. Although very recently serviced, the brakes continue to have major issues, yet because the work was organized by the supervisor who had been terminated, the service manager in charge would not stand behind the work, refusing to repair the brakes or offer a refund. In retrospect, it is simply unfathomable that a dealership would not take steps to correct a customer service problem that carries the degree of liability as brakes, yet that's exactly what this manager did. When I disputed the credit card charge for the repair, the manager addressed the dispute claiming it as a person vendetta against him, stating that my complaint was because I knew the terminated employee personally and again, refused to repair the brakes. I took the vehicle afterwards to a private mechanic who repaired the brakes for a lot less money, and shortly thereafter sold the vehicle and vowed to never again go near a Ford. Amazing how one carefully chosen low level asshole can blow the reputation of a multi-billion dollar empire. read more

An hour later, I get to their Conyers location with cashiers check in hand, and they told me that the car had been sold yesterday, but that they had a more expensive car available. I purchased my wife's Expedition from Courtesy Ford. From the start, I should have walked away. They initially said that the vehicle I was trading in needed tires, just put a new set on a few months prior to trade in. Also said it was due for brakes. I put new pads and rotors on the front and pads on the rear on the same day I did tires. The car had 129,000 miles on it. When I was looking over the appraisal, I was listed at 159,000. The car I was purchasing has a small crack/chip in the windshield and a 2 small dings in the door. Along with some peeling paint on the same door. They offered a whopping $200 off for repairs. Of course that's not even close to cost. Then I notice online, while at signing they had dropped the price from $31,700 to $30,000. They would not honor the price drop. I don't think its that hard to make it right. Apparently it is and I will NEVER consider buying from them or referring anyone to them. read more
