I fought it for 11 months and they flat out refused to recode it despite my insurance company calling them NUMEROUS TIMES. To avoid having them send the bill to collections, I finally caved and paid them $3488. The original bill was $4300 but they told me if I paid it all in one payment they would take off $1000. SO WHAT YOURE TELLING ME IS YOU WERE OVERCHARGING ME FROM THE GETGO. Do not go to this hospital. They will do everything in their power to squeeze money out of you!

When I called to follow up and make an appointment, I spoke to Donna, who lied and told me "we haven't received the referral yet - we'll call you when we receive it." I know that was a lie because my PCP is very thorough and faxed the referral last Thursday - with transmission confirmation. I had them re-fax the referral on Friday after calling to set up the appointment. I waited until Monday late afternoon before calling again. Once again I was told by Donna, that "we haven't received the referral yet." When I pressed more and indicated that my PCP had confirmed that the faxes each transmitted successfully, I was put on hold. When Donna came back, she said "both the orthopedist and neurologist have reviewed your referral, and there is nothing we can do to help you. We've released the referral back to your PCP." Really? Without seeing me for a proper evaluation, you know that there's nothing you can do? I've been in chronic pain for the better part of a year, to the point where I can't sit comfortably, and there's nothing you can do? I find this not only unprofessional, but I've never heard of it happening. Sounds like they just don't want to see any new patients. My advice - go somewhere else that takes you and your pain seriously.

Dr. Peter Eyvazzadeh is a rude doctor who doesn't care about his patients. I went in complaining…read moreabout constant knee pain and terrible popping that result in difficulty standing after. I had osgood schlatter disease growing up and was worried about the condition of my ligaments and tendons. After the first appointment, I was sent to do 6 weeks of PT and booked a follow up. I did a general PT for my knee. After the 6 weeks, I went back and reported it had gotten worse, it was getting more difficult to drive. He ordered a MRI. Eyvazzadeh said the MRI did not show any tears or signs my knee had ever been dislocated when though it pops in and out very painfully. Do not get me wrong, I was glad there were no tears but confused why I was in pain. Eyvazzadeh did not show or go over the MRI with myself and my brother that came with me. He said I needed a Cortisone shot. He said it was my choice but I felt that I wasn't given a choice. I agreed because he did not give me any other options to help relieve the pain. He left the room to get it and I started sobbing. When the assistant came in, they had the wrong patient on the ultra sound machine, and asked if I was getting the injection in my shoulder. I corrected and when Eyvazzadeh came in the room, he did not even remember what leg it was going into. They start the prep, not telling me what was happening. My brother, who does work in the medical industry, starts explaining what they are doing. He then stops Eyvazzadeh saying "my sister does not understand what you are doing, why and even really what a cortisone shot is. Explain it to her." Eyvazzadeh gave a very short and not helpful reply saying it was a steroid injection. When I asked Eyvazzadeh if he could explain the pain and popping, he said no. I was sent on my way with more questions than answers. I decided to get a second opinion and getting my records was very difficult. I paid the fee and was only given the notes from my appointments. When I called and asked why the imaging was not a part of the records I requested and PAID for, they said its another department. I got a hold of them and finally had all my imaging. The second doctor I went to was surprised that I was not given answers. He shows me the MRI and explains I have a plica under my IT band that is the source of the popping and pain. It is in the exact spot on my leg that is always bruised and painful to the touch, all information I discussed with Eyvazzadeh. The second doctor explains how all the things I complain about can be explained by this and it is in fact visible on the MRI which means Eyvazzadeh could have looked closely and seen the source of the pain. And I had to get another cortisone shot due to the first not being put directly into the source of my pain which means it did nothing for me, which it hadn't. The second shot, I was shown the ultrasound the whole time, it was explained to me what was being done, why and what I needed to look out for to know if it was working. It was also explained to me how long I could expect the shot to be painful and what to look out for as a sign of infection. And this doctor called me about a week after the shot to see how I was doing and make sure there were no signs of infection. Eyvazzadeh did not even tell me it could get infected or how long it would hurt for before I can expect some relief which never came. I have been going to New Hampshire Orthopedics since I was about 11. I saw Dr. Lynn before he retired and he was amazing. He retired shortly after I stopped needing care at around the age of 16. Years later when the pain started, I called and asked to be seen and they sent me to Eyvazzadeh. I went there in pain and looking for someone to tell me why and help me fix it. I left with more questions. The second doctor I went to looked at all the same imaging Eyvazzadeh did and could tell me why. Eyvazzadeh had all the information to help me but he did not care. I believe he wanted to charge me for an expensive surgery and when he could not, he did not care to help me with my pain. I will never go back. I never review doctor's but I am putting this review everywhere. I do not want other people to experience what I have.
