I can't say enough about Jason and his team at OPT. I went to see him after having rotator cuff surgery and was very leary about physical therapy because the surgery was so painful. Jason was very gentle in his approach to my recovery, and after several months under his care I had full use of my shoulder again. One thing I like about OPT is the personal one on one attention and private treatment rooms. I have been to other PT clinics before going to OPT and did not receive the same kind of care - the other clinics had a more impersonal, assembly line approach. I have seen Jason and the crew at OPT both pre-op and post-op for my left hip replacement. The pre-op care started with conditioning my muscles and joints for the strain of performing the duties of a professional landscaper. When x-rays reveals osteoarthritis in the left hip, exercises prepared my body for the inevitable trauma of hip replacement. The surgery was performed first thing in the morning and I was up walking that day! I was driving just four days after surgery (once I weaned myself off narcotics.) OPT is AWESOME! I broke my ankle in January and have been seeing the OPT team twice a week for the past month. My improvement has been tremendous and I owe it all to them. When I started 3 weeks ago I couldn't even walk down stairs, now I'm walking down stairs with no problem, not to mention walking at least 1 mile per day. On top of having a well trained and dedicated staff, OPT has specialty treadmill equipment that allows for movement while taking the pressure off of the back.
