Key facts: - Deposit (July 2024): Months of "paperwork is submitted" messages, yet we never received a permit number or proof of submittal/approval. In Jan 2025 we were told paperwork had been submitted "yesterday," contradicting prior assurances. - Permitting (Winter-Spring 2025): The City issued adjudication orders and the permit was not approved until May 2025--~10 months after signing. (We can provide documentation if needed.) - No on-site work (through July 2025): Despite promises of a March start, there was still no crew on site and no schedule we could rely on. - Shell left exposed: The fiberglass shell sat outside uncovered for months with no start date in sight. We ultimately had them drop the shell at our property while we hired another installer to complete the project. Bottom line: After 13 months, aside from dropping the shell at our home, no installation work was performed. Communication was pleasant at times, but pleasant texts don't build pools. Sellers totally ripped out my water and electric for my lawn irrigation system. Which ran under my driveway. That I had to repair - labor and cost. After I repaired the system, sellers broke the line again (3) times. When I mentioned that, Sellers stated " Is that all, only 3? " Sellers also splashed concrete and broke my picket fence in the front of my house. I told sellers I thought, the complete job should be replaced. Sellers said he could not afford to do that. Sellers will not return our calls, or meet with us. He has sent a letter stating "He is still willing to put in a French Drain". I told him only if the drain is connected to a drain system, not a hole. He is not willing to do that. I am afraid to have them dig a hole for a drain that will clog. Stanziano gave me 80% of my contracted cement . Down sized the concrete pad . The excavator did…read moreit correctly and then they changed it . The owner blamed me. He was there and measured the 9'6'' width and I dug down 8'' right in front of him from the pine tree and hit no roots. All they had to do was put the form where the excavator (foreman of the job marked it. (9'6'') and the apron 10' which some how got changed to 8' !!! . Then claimed the apron had to be uniform with the front of the pad. NOT TRUE. That`s why it`s called an apron. I waisted 3000 dollars on that job. Not wide enough to park on; plus when the forms were removed, nothing was under the right rear of the pad bur AIR !!!,. To add insult to injury, the owner has one of his workers dump a bucket of gravel by the corner; plus the concrete there was only 2 '' thick. THEY OWE ME 600 dollars over charge, plus I`d like my receipt paid in full, that I requested several times. They claimed they were the best around ! I beg to differ !! Don D.
