As a handicapped person, I have had them do several modifications to make my home more accessible; they have even made suggestions I had not thought of. They came in at estimation or checked with me on suggestions for improvement before anything was added to project. When my cleaners came in after the construction, they said it was the cleanest they had ever seen a crew leave it. They even made sure it was picked up and cleaned when they left each night. They are enjoyable to work with.I have worked with many constructions crews over the years and I can say they are best in area.

Truly amazed by how great this company is. In 2016 decided to build a new home. We were unsure…read morehow to heat/cool our house. Very limited options where we built. Someone suggested Geothermal. Did a little research and found this company. From the beginning, from the first meeting at their office, until the closing on my house, their professionalism, knowledge, understanding, and willing to work with me on my vision, was nothing short of exceptional. Even after the closing when I was having water issues, not directly related to the Geothermal system, they continued to go above and beyond to help address the issue and worked with me until it was resolved. The Geo system itself is incredible. It's quite, efficient, and hardly generates any electric. It's computerized as well so they can monitor the system from their office and adjust it to give me and my wallet the max benefits. I wouldn't choose any other geothermal company if you are considering geothermal. I'd choose them on their professionalism alone. Their involvement every step of the way was second to none. Start to finish, no one beats Aztech!

Can't say enough good about this company. Totally professional and trustworthy from top to bottom…read more Incredibly responsive, excellent communicators, and tops in meeting their commitments. In 2013 they installed my geothermal HVAC, retrofitting my 100 year old farmhouse without ripping it apart when they installed ductwork. They even incorporated my propane furnace (at my request) to use that blower system and provide backup heat in severe cold. When the furnace blower failed earlier this year, they replaced it temporarily with a spare furnace of theirs, and now have installed the long term solution, a hydronic air handler with electric coil for back up on severe cold. So now my heat is efficiently provided just with electricity, and since I generate my own electric with photovoltaic, I now live in a near net zero home. No more propane bill, and I've paid in advance for a lifetime of electrify, so no more electric bills! And a home that is evenly heated and comfortable all the time. If you are considering geothermal, this is the company to contact. DO NOT go to a plumber! Aztech has real engineers who calculate heat loads after testing how tight the house is and design the system accordingly, not seat of the pants like your plumber.

While this company's concierge service was decorating a local Saratoga house (as they do every…read moreyear) with mostly absent homeowners, one of the staff they employ to do the work was absolutely rude to a neighborhood of year round Saratogian residents. Using a lift crane to decorate their customers home they completely blocked the street for hours and yelled at the residents to "go around the block" and at one point even gave the middle finger to two of us. Rather than say "sorry for the inconvenience and would you mind going around temporarily", they chose to be extremely rude. I find this unacceptable for a company that touts themselves as "local".

Everybody's contractor experience is unique so please read my review with this in mind…read more We moved to Saratoga in 2009 and bought a "problem" home... a Victorian which had been carved into units by owners who had little regard for the integrity of the building. Our goal was to restore it to its original liveability as a single family home. Teakwood has a reputation as expensive and our initial bid, to do everything on a wish list, was pretty high. But they worked with us and a revised bid was significantly lower and we went with them. This bid entailed a clear-eyed distinction between "need to" and "nice to" improvements so we ended up with a price we were happy with. The quality of the work, both by Teakwood carpenters and their subs, is superb. Teakwood has a philosophy of assigning a master carpenter to oversee the job and our guy, Dan Decenzo, could not be better. Josh, the guy who did a number of built-ins, is a master of his craft and we now have benches and bookcases that look like they have been there 130 years like the rest of the structure. We were offered a 1 year satisfaction guarantee and I'm prompted to write because, well over 1 year after the fact, Dan has been back recently to fix a couple minor things. Bottom line, we are really happy with Teakwood and would definitely recommend you bid out your project to them.

Steve didn't recall any of it after my husband told him specific info about the conversation.
