Also, the financial aspect of dealing with cash requires the utmost in honesty. I'm so relieved to have found EstateSalesAZ! My parent's house was VERY full of everything collected over the lifetime of having a family. A husband who loved audio/video equipment and enjoyed having every tool and power equipment. A wife with hobbies and a hesitancy to throw anything away. The home was wall to wall with furniture and household items. An estate sale seemed overwhelming and we knew we needed to find an estate sale company. After interviewing 5 different types of estate sale companies which included online auctions, in-person auctions, consignment sale companies, buy-outright companies, and traditional estate sale companies...we carefully decided to hire EstateSalesAZ. We were impressed with their straight-forward flat fee pricing with no hidden costs. Other companies wanted to nickel and dime for every small item...not this company! Everything was included in their flat fee...credit card transaction fees, handling donations, garbage removal, clean-out and clean-up at the end. The owner, Joe Cestaro, is efficient and high energy. He went through the whole house to sort, organize and stage. He came with all the tables, he set up quickly and it all looked amazing when ready. He was smart about prices and researched those that he didn't know. He was personable and you could tell that the customers at the sale really liked him. He ran the sale on-time each day. He advertised all over the internet and it all lead to a great turn-out. He sold items that we never thought in a million years would sell...and for prices we never believed he would get...but he did! The sale was a huge success, almost everything sold and we made more money than we ever expected. At the end of the sale, everything was out of the house...just as promised. Walking in...I couldn't believe it was vacuumed, mopped, super clean and even smelled lemon-fresh! The only negative I could comment would be that Joe had a few equipment glitches with his computer and printer but he worked around the issues and was able to fix them quickly. I also think he could have used a little more help on the first day of the sale...his advertising and signs worked almost too good...people were everywhere! But, I'd say that was a high-quality problem to have as I was happy and relieved to see the big turnout. I am a happy customer and will be telling everyone I know about my experience...one of the reasons I'm leaving this review for others to see.

do not be fooled by this woman. i highly recommend you not use this person…read more she is extremely unprofessional. we hired her to do an appraisal, and she walked off of the job with zero explanation. if she did not want the job she should not havr taken it. if she changed her mind after accepting it, that would be fine too, but she walked off the job with no phone call, no explanation. she will not return our phone calls or texts. i use alot of professional services and i have excellent judgement of character, and i also have alot of grace for bad behavior or a bad day, but this woman has stepped beyond unprofessional and unethical. please do yourself a favor and find someone else. she has costed us alot of time and frustration. dont be fooled by her friendly, outgoing personality, or her obvious knowledge of real estate. she does seem to know real estate, but you can find someone else. she left us completely hanging. please save yourself the money and frustration. do not be fooled like we were. Update: She still has not given us to courtesy of a phone call and refuses to return our phone calls. That's all we've asked for is a courtesy phone call. Seriously, she walked off the job without explanation or a call.

Poorly organized, many, many items not priced and only one person was authorized to give out prices - she was constantly busy. The items that were priced were way over priced for an estate sale; they were priced almost as if it were a high end antique store. There was only one cashier and she was slow, slow, slow and somewhat rude. Luckily, there are several quality estate sale companies in this area and I'll be sticking with them.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that some quirky little stores like this one [which inhabits the old Rambling Roads storefront] are springing from the ashes of what used to be one of the nation's best antique districts, but which seems to be "in transition"--and not in a good way. We picked up a Hupa basket bottle [you hafta to see it to believe it] for just $100, and just the cutest 1930s mini bookshelf/curio/weird stuff holder for $130. Folks, this is less than estate sale prices! This stuff is priced to sell, unlike some of those "other" stores [and you know who you are!!] who place outrageous prices on everything thinking that some sucker is gonna want his/her item[s] SO BADLY that they'll pay anything for it! Now I admit that the urge to drop way more than something is REALLY worth has hit me a couple times, but I've always managed to get a grip--peeps, if it shows up in a store once, IT WILL SHOW UP AGAIN SOMEDAY. So head on down to Glendale Avenue for this great little new store--BTW, the staff is pretty knowledgeable, one of the ladies has a couple of appraisal certifications so she does know her stuff! [guess I'd better get back down there before all the good stuff is gone...]
