We came here for breakfast with a small group of 4. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is very…read morespacious, and were seated quickly. As far as the service, everyone was very polite, and food came fairly quickly. The menu had some limited time biscuit beignets that were so good. They were nice and fluffy and chewy and covered in cinnamon. Fried pickles were also very good and not overfried. They had a strong pickle taste which is a good thing, they tasted fresh. The portion size was huge as well, we couldn't finish them all and had leftovers. For my main entree i ordered the sausage and egg breakfast casserole. It was good but lacked something. I added some tobasco sauce to it and that gave it a bit of a kick. I probably would have ordered the steak and egg casserole instead had i noticed it before. There was the cutest store attached to the restaurant that really taste my self control. I bought 2 really cute aprons, one was a Dolly Parton Apron and the other was a mushroom apron for a gift. I definitely reccomend looking here if you want to get a gift for someone as they have a variety of kids and adults items. Some very unique items as well. Overall i highly reccomend this place, it's a good value all around, and the food is good

It's been so long since I went to a Cracker Barrel I had to give it a go! Ambiance is obviously 5…read morestars. Cracker Barrel has a vibe and they hit it out of the park. Unfortunately the food doesn't match up. It's clearly all premade like most other large franchises. I did enjoy the onion petals and dip. Honestly they're better than Outback. We also got the duo shareable deal and ordered the cinnamon rolls to take home. So we got an appetizer and desert for the whole family for $14.99. My sister and I split the classic sampler, I had the country fried chicken which was the best thing in the sampler. It was crunchy and flavorful though I do wish I ordered a sauce. The mac and cheese was so bad my sister spit out the first bite and did not take the leftovers home. The chicken and dumplings were beige and BLAND! As was the loaded hash browns and the broccoli was an afterthought of the afterthought. Barely cooked, unsalted, and unbuttered. You can buy microwaveable broccoli with more flavor than this. The cornbread was salty, not even a hint of sweetness, and dry. I had to use one of the butters for the cornbread on the broccoli though because no one is raw dogging half cooked plain broccoli. The cinnamon rolls though, yum! Best thing all night! So I'm thinking 2 stars for food quality since the only items worth eating were the chicken, onion petals, and cinnamon rolls. Please consider putting some herbs in the chicken and dumplings like parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, add butter, salt, and maybe even fresh garlic to the broccoli, and a touch of honey or maple syrup to the corn bread with another 1 or 2 eggs as well for moisture. The hasbrowns needed salt as well, garlic powder, onion powder, and a better cook on those would have gone a long way. I can't help your mac and cheese unfortunately since I was not able to taste it. Except maybe try cooking by the noodles to more of an al dente rather than mush. However since it is all likely ordered from a warehouse, I don't see changes being made any time soon. Food freshness gains 1 star since it's all ordered and prepackaged. Service was an easy 5 stars as was cleanliness. This brings our average to 3.6 stars which I am rounding down since the most important part of the meal was so lacking. Overall, now I recall why I don't come here more than once a decade.

This place is an awesome, eclectic, and personable spot with incredible food as well as service…read more The BIzzy Grizzys or whatever they called them were one of my favorite appetizers ever, and I don't typically like things like that. At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. It's worth every penny. We'll be back for dessert, they have seasonal crème brûlées!

I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.

The green beans and macaroni & cheese were my favorites! We came in for lunch. We were about the second table seated around 11:30am. The place quickly filled up! However, there was only one server. It's not her fault. But it kinda sucked after a while. And it was our first time trying this place. Since it got so busy, our server got tied up taking orders and she seemed to be answering the phone too. I noticed that our food was ready and under the warmer. Unfortunately, our food was not that hot when it got to us, finally. The ribs were overdone. My pulled chicken was very good although it was a tad on the cool side. We were celebrating a special occasion and I hate that our special lunch was kind of ruined. I think I would probably try this place again at dinner time.
