I wish I could rate this less. I work on the road and spend many nights in hotels. There was a fire so all hotels were booked besides this one and I understand why. The hotel had roaches in the room. The door was left open. Bathroom tiles were broken and shower was gross. I asked for a refund with in an hour was told I wanted more then 10 minutes and can't get a refund. And I slept in my car for the night. Management was rude and hardly spoke English. read more

Beaver, Utah Trying out a low cost accommodation led to a less than stellar stay. There were a lot of pluses until a major minus: The place is very quiet, even the refrigerator is quiet. The AC which is also the heater is noisy, probably typical for this type of unit. The plumbing is loud from other guests but not an on going issue. It was very cold, I couldn't sleep with the heater on (Noisy), so I slept in my clothes and jacket. There are no extra blankets, the blanket provided is very thin and not suitable for cold conditions. I was really looking forward to a nice hot shower in the morning but the shower was barely warm. Too cold to take a shower! There was hot water in the sink basin though. The bed was comfy and the pillows were very good. My key card would not work in the lock I had to return to the office and wake up the manager again. He gave me two cards to try then, one did work, it was 2 am, I'm glad one of them got me in. read more

Horrible and UNSAFE!! Do not stay at this hotel!! I witnessed the owner give another customer the keys to an OCCUPIED room! I called to request an early check in and was told I could come at 2:00- I arrived and there was nobody there. I rang the bell, called, left a message, nothing. I waited in the parking lot for nearly an hour before there was anyone to let me in to the office- in this time three other guests arrived. The owner made no mention of our wait and was rude and dismissive in his interactions. I got my room key and it didn't work so I went back to request another one, when I watched a man storm into the office and told the owner that there was someone in his room. He was given access to an occupied room! He left and I went to my room, which had no latch or deadbolt. I felt very unsafe after the interaction I had just witnessed so I decided not to stay. The owner did not take accountability for his actions and refused to issue me a refund- telling me to contact the third party site we had booked from. He also got into a verbal confrontation with another angry customer in the parking lot- who warned me that the place was a dump and not to stay the night. The owner showed a complete disregard for safety, customer service and integrity. You would be better off sleeping in your car than staying in this hell hole read more

Stay away from this rundown, badly managed dirty hotel. The place looks completely closed with bricks on the parking lot which are dangerous for vehicles or motorcycles or pedestrians. Staff has no knowledge of running a hotel business or managing the front desk. Additionally, staff does not speak fluent English so they make you excuses. Staff does not know how process credit cards, beware of double charges. They claim they have new staff unfortunately, they do not have the capabilities to manage a hotel or an any business. First time staying here. We visit family here several times a month. Decided to see how this location stacks up against the other properties I. Town. First impressions are the exterior needs a face lift. Landscape is pretty barren, like Wyoming plains barren. Drive & parking are in need of major overhaul. Road into property is large pot holes and dirt. Checkin was interesting. Night staff was almost combative about who was staying with me, no smoking $250 fine and are you sure you don't have any pets! I really don't have an issue with these policies, but why treat your customers like they've wronged you at checkin. Doesn't look good at this point. Go to room and find it's old, but clean. No real glaring issues. Everything works as it should. Could use some paint. Bed is solid and in good shape. After the night stay we found it was quiet and got a good night sleep. Room had small flat screen TV, King size bed, newer heat/AC and carpet that was clean and newer looking. For the nightly price it stacks up better than most properties in Beaver. Staff could use some temperance on dealing with customers. They need to spend money on a lot of exterior issues. But for a one night getting down the road stay the price is right. Would do it again knowing that $40 - $50 dollar savings a night makes it a deal. So put on your shades and ignore the glaring issues and save the cash when going through Beaver. read more

My husband was sent to Beaver to work for 1 week. I got online and booked him this hotel for the whole week. The room was not clean and television didn't work. He reported to the front desk and they told him they would be right up to fix the tv and assured him the room had been thoroughly cleaned. Next day my husband returned from work to find the tv still doesn't work and sat bored in his room for the second night. Day 3 his job was canceled and he was sent to another location in another state. He returned the key and told the front desk what happened but was not able to get a refund for the remaining 4 days. I called that afternoon and was told we needed to go online to get a refund. I got online and was on hold for over an hour while they contacted the hotel. I was then told that the manager of the hotel refused to refund the 4 days that the room would not be occupied. I would not recommend stayin here. read more

Beaver Utah hotel goodness. Clean. Reasonably priced. Great air conditioning. This spot was a diamond in the rough. I booked it online. No hassle at check-in. Easy and painless. A nice day owns and operates this establishment. The room was clean and had plenty of seating as well as a table. Good lighting. Plenty of power outlets. Flat screen TV. The WiFi was a little spotty but I have backups just in case so it was not a problem. Bathtub was spacious. Water pressure was strong. Water was hot. I tried tub and shower and both worked great. Coffee pot. Microwave and refrigerator. All the trappings of a nice room was represented. I needed a clean, reasonably priced place to stay and the Country Inn was superb. Absolutely superb. If one is weary whilst traveling and need a place to stay on the travels, skip the chains and come here. Support local Beaver Utah businesses. It looks to be a great and quaint quality wholesome town. Stay, smile and sleep. You'll be glad you did. read more

iI was so exhausted after driving thru a snowstorm from colorado and these people could not have been nicer! i left the next morning on my way to California but when I stopped for gas, I realized I had left my little cross-body purse at the motel. I must have thrown the blanket over it by accident. my friend bought the gas and off we went! Once in Cali. I called the motel to find out they had my purse and would mail it to me! First, this motel is pretty cheap and you get what you pay for. I gave this Inn a four star rating because my mom and I got amazing service, and our room was what you'd expect for $50. The man at the counter went above and beyond, and provided my mom and me with a room to fit our needs. He was very kind and helped out my mom and I with everything we needed. The room was clean, save for a few areas. The sink is very low to the ground. I had to hunch over a tad and I'm just over five feet. It also leaked at the bottom which sucked. First of all it's scary that anyone rated this above 1 star. It is absolutely the worst motel I've had the displeasure of staying in. First, the smell when you walk in about knocks you over. The mattress was filthy and didn't have anything but a thin sheet on it. I didn't see any bed bugs....I'll give it that. It had a thin flat sheet and thin bedspread. I found several strands of black hair in the bed, and the bed was super uncomfortable. I barely slept, and I have a long day with family and a wedding to go to. Stayed overnight. It's nicer across the street at the Day's Inn where I stayed for a couple of days (see my review... there's good & bad), but it's $20-30 cheaper here & I'll take it. Pros: * Walk-in price was $45, but I showed the front desk agent that it was $40 on hotels .com, so she matched it. A lovely Indian family own & operate the hotel... they have a strong idea of good customer service. * A bit outdated, but clean. * Lots of extras for the cost... fridge, microwave, shampoo, box of tissues, screaming fast WiFi, vanity with a chair, flat screen TV with lots of channels, inc 1 HBO channel & plenty of towels. * Lots of lighting & outlets. * Great working wall a/c-heater... no musty smell you get at many hotels. Cons: * Yeah, there are fingerprints on the door (every hotel I've been in from $70-150/nt has had some of that), some sloppy craftsmanship in repairs & old stains on lampshades, thinner towels, etc., but HEY, it's $40-45/nt, so what difference does it make, especially in Beaver, UT, in the middle of nowhere... I can hardly believe anyone lives out here... I'd think all guests are passing through, overnight stays, like me. * The smell was a bit musty upon entry, so I sprayed my rose room freshener throughout (I've learned to travel with wipes to clean off surfaces, remote & toilet seat & to carry freshener from past bad experiences)... it was fine afterwards, but the smell did arise from time to time. Having asthma, I have to spray & run & coudn't do this at night, so the musty smell did annoy me at night. Still... I kept reminding myself that it was just $40. Good to know: * Several fast food places nearby (across the street or within 1/2-mi) that open from 5-9am or are open 24/7, so if you're leaving early to continue your trek, you're all set... Wendy's (opens at 9am), McD's (5am), Carl's Jr (6am), Subway (8am), Denny's (24/7) & both large gas stations (Flying J & Sinclair, also 24/7) have lots of snack type foods, sandwiches for $5 (not great... mostly bread, but might be better than chips & candy, if the fast food places are closed) & some $5-6 breakfast sandwiches you can heat in the hotel m/w before checking out. I have to say, I expected nothing, especially as the exterior & office were a bit rundown, but for just a couple hour's work on the computer, followed by a quick sleep & back to the road for another 400-mi commute, I didn't want to pay $20-30 extra for the Day's Inn. The inside of the room is far nicer than you'd think. Bonus is, like most motels, you can park directly outside your room, as it's only 1 level & each room has an exterior door. Day's Inn has interior doors, btw & there's no elevator to the 2nd floor... good to know if you're transporting kids, elderly or those needing crutches or canes. I love not having to navigate the parking lot & hallways with suitcases, especially cuz I'm a small girl & it always takes at least 2-3 trips for me. I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice front desk & housekeeping staff, as well. Solid 4* out of 5. Don't nitpick about a few stains & not getting brand new carpeting & the fluffiest towels... IT'S $40-45 PER NIGHT!!! If you're gonna gripe or luxury means a lot to you, stay at the Holiday Inn across the highway for $90+/nt. read more

No one cleaned our room between guests... we used our own blankets and pillows just in case because the towels looked used and dirty ... there was an empty toilet paper roll on the roll still and someone's beard hair still in our sink... the bathroom was gross and falling apart. I needed a stay for one night on September 23rd, after driving all day. At the front desk, the man was polite and helpful. I had a small service dog with me. He gave me a room in the back of the hotel. My room was dark and it look as if the carpet has not been cleaned for a month... The carpet was dark and you could see plenty of dirt. But the worst was the bathtub and sink. The tub was so dirty, I would not put my foot in it... After a few minutes of reflection, I went back to the front desk and told the man that I could not stay in his hotel, because the room was not clean and it was in an unsanitary condition. I would not even let my service dog walk on this carpet... The man at the front desk was apologetic and told me that he will not charge me for the night. A month later, when I checked my credit card statement, much to my surprise, I was charged twice!!. One charge was for $78.33 on 9/23and the second charge was for $58.75 on 9/24. Then one charge for $58.75 was reversed but the $78.33 stayed on my card. I called the hotel to dispute this charge. The man told me he will have to investigate and he will call me back. I know I shouldn't expect much for $50, but the rooms really should be priced even lower, maybe $35. First, the pluses: 1. The woman at the front counter was exceptionally nice and helpful 2. The place was quiet, at least during the night I stayed there. Now, the negatives: 1. The rooms are very dingy, dated and don't seem clean. The outlets in my room barely worked, there were low wattage bulbs, the heater literally looked (and sounded) like it was from 1955. 2. The bathrooms were dated, worn and just really in desperate need of some general upkeep, never mind being completely renovated. 3. The Internet and TV did not work, the receptionist said it was a city-wide outage. For one night, if you're desperate, then stay here. The staff is friendly and it's not in a dangerous or bad part of town. But it's really dismal to stay in. read more

OK, before anyone gets too excited about the 5 stars understand that this is probably the least expensive place to get a GOOD CLEAN room between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City along I-15. Of equal importance the couple that run the place are as warm, accommodating, helpful and friendly as you could want anyone to be. I had a serious breakdown with my car near Beaver and found the folks who run the Country Inn to be very helpful and understanding of my predicament and allowed me to leave my disabled vehicle parked on their property for a week before I was able to get it dealt with and at no charge. My other option would have been to have the car towed ($100) and paid $20 per day storage until I could have gotten the car dealt with. In my normal travels I wouldn't have reason to get a room in Beaver but I won't go whizzing down I-15 past Beaver without stopping in just to say howdy to these folks. Stayed here with my husband (less than) halfway through our move to Denver because we left Vegas (our old home) a little too early (okay, WAY too early) in the morning thinking we could make it the whole way to Denver by the end of the day, and we ended up getting so tired that we had to stop by 8AM. We were scrambling through Beaver trying to find a place to stay with our two dogs, tired as could be, and nobody seemed to have openings either because they were booked or didn't allow pets. Country Inn came to our rescue. I called, they immediately accommodated us, and the second we pulled in, we were able to check in, get our room key, and knock out so we could manage the rest of the drive the next day. Even with our odd hours (we left at 3AM the next morning), we had no problems. Granted, it may not have been our long term choice, we never utilized the shower (I see other reviewers saying theirs weren't functioning), and it was a little rough around the edges. There were a few outlets in the room that didn't work, we used our own sheets because theirs were a little scratchy, and there were some stains in the carpets, but it was for SURE worth the price and will do in a pinch if you're only staying a night or two. The staff were efficient and accommodating, and we had a quiet day-into-early-morning stay that let us rest up for the rest of our trip! This motel is hella cheap, but the next step up in town is certainly worth the small price jump. Pros: - This motel was really cheap, almost half the price of other things in town. We were able to get two rooms for the price of one elsewhere. - It wasn't outright dirty. Cons: - The WiFi went out in the evening and did not return by the time we left at 9:30 the next morning. Not just that it was slow or something, but the network actually went offline. Don't expect WiFi. - The walls were really thin. We heard our neighbors having very loud sex all night and playing trashy music at 8 a.m. the next morning. The motel only had about four of the rooms occupied, so why they were booked right next to us to begin with in the middle of the night (we heard them arrive), I can't really fathom. - There were several bugs in our room. A large beetle and many gnats, so nothing serious, but it didn't scream "clean." In fact, nothing about this motel screamed clean. - The pillows felt like someone had just stuffed blankets in pillowcases, and there weren't enough of them (3 small pillows on a king bed). - We booked two rooms, but half of our group left early because they weren't feeling well and didn't end up sleeping in the second room. We tried to see if we could get a partial refund for the second room, fully expecting and understanding that we might not be able to. What we did not expect was for both managers/owners (a husband and wife team, I think) to separately berate different members of our group about our request for this partial refund. They both had really thick accents and we kept asking for clarification but we couldn't understand what they were trying to tell us - they weren't going to give us a refund, that was for sure, but the were also talking about the cleanliness of the room (which no one ever stayed in) and the way we'd booked it, without being clear at all about what they could or couldn't do or what they expected from us. It was really frustrating and unhelpful. We weren't upset that they weren't going to refund the room - that was our mistake and we were willing to take responsibility for it - but being confusingly berated by management about we weren't even sure what was such an odd and unsettling experience. read more

So driving down I-15 I got a flat tire and was able to get a room super cheap!! The owners were so sweet and nice to me with so much compassion that I couldn't do much else but thank them! The rooms comfortable spacious plenty of hot water, the bathroom turns into pretty much a steam room when you have the hot water on. Clean sheets bathroom small fridge microwave mirrors desk table with the leather rolling chair. Pretty much awesome for me and they were able to just make me feel like I was somewhere safe and comfortable. I would recommend anybody who is passing through to stop by! Giving this place a star pains me. I would like it if there was a minus sign I could use. We just drove 12 hours and get a room with NO HOT WATER....but we don't find this out until we have been settled in for at least an hour. I went to the office to complain, and he did offer to let us change rooms, but we sre exhausted so mo. He told me that no one has ever complained before about NO HOT WATER, I find that hard to believe. I said I expect it to be hot in the morning , but guess what, here it is morning snd I am off to take a ho bath because there is NO HOT WATER I suggest that you do not stay here if yiu want to start yiur day clean read more

Pathetic I guess is nicest word I can use. I pulled up to the Country Inn today at 1:07 pm, 53 minutes before check in time, and understandably the front door was locked due to not a single car in the parking lot of this or adjacent hotel. I rang bell as sign instructed on window and no answer. I then started walking back to my one and only car in the tiny parking lot of this single story "motel" and saw someone approach front desk. I called the number on the door of lobby and someone answered then directly hung up? I called back and dead air? I went across the street to McDonalds and ate lunch and called again at 2 thinking for some reason this actually made a difference in an empty "motel" and again dead air? You would think a tiny motel that gets 95% of its business, that it actually does get, comes from reviews and word of mouth. To not answer the door or phone for me was straight up rude and a slippery way of using Covid as a possible excuse to rip off the one and only customer you have seen in months is my guess. Really really poor service considering your only job is to cater to your guests. For shame! read more

Tap won't shut of completely in shower. I unplugged the mini-fridge because it was noisy all night. $50 a night for two people, single bed no smoking or pets. I couldn't identify the stains on the walls, carpets, blankets, or chairs. The shower light was burnt out, towel rack fell out of the wall, and the water would go from scalding hot to freezing cold. I had to sleep in my sleeping bag on top of the bed. I was thankful I had brought disinfectant wipes with me. Still, I hope I didn't contract anything from this room. Has a mini fridge, and a.c. that work well, that is about the extent of the positives, room was filthy, found a black widow in the bathroom, and we have our 8 month old son. Shit under the bed, used tissues between the mattresses we found while making sure there were no more spiders. Beetles everywhere. The deadbolts in our room did not work, and our neighbor mistook our room for his, pushed the door open at 1-2am. Luckily for us it was a nice guy with a family and did loads of apologizing. Not something you want happening when you have a young child with you. Owner was rude when confronted with the issues, no refund was offered. Cat was allowed for an extra fee but we were told she must stay in her cage, in which case I'm not sure what the fee was for. Rooms say 45$ a night, got charged 71. We will never stay here again, regardless if they get new owners or not. I suggest everyone goes to any other motel in the area as it couldn't be any worse than this place. read more

FRAUD! We booked this hotel on booking.com before we arrived. We have a confirmation of the reservation and paid $50 for the room. When we arrived from our long trip at 12am, the man at the front desk said he did not have our reservation. He advised us we would have to pay $50 if we wanted a room for the night. After reaching out to Booking.com the following week, they told us the hotel did have out reservation and checked us in. DO NOT STAY HERE! This little roadside motel had the cheapest rates in town and accommodated us at 1AM on a Monday night. For two adults we were quoted $44.95 plus tax over the phone, which was also the same price a giant billboard was advertising. Initially I'd tried to call a couple of more well-reviewed motels in Beaver, but being small mom-and-pops they didn't answer the phone after midnight. When we got in around 1AM the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a king bed at no extra charge. With tax the room was just over $50 and was perfectly adequate to our needs. The room came equipped with a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It was dated but clean and the air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the thick concrete brick walls really insulated the room so that we couldn't hear anything beyond them- we slept great. The only downsides were that the room smelled a little stale, like it had been a smoking room long ago, and the wifi password we were given was incorrect and we didn't want to wake up the guy at the front desk at 2AM (he was filling in for the owners who were out of town). No breakfast or ice machine, but we were very happy with the room for the price. read more

I'm not bitter, just disappointed after my stay at The Country Inn. WiFi barely worked; super slow. Bathroom could've been cleaner. (Sheets were clean, at least, and the bed comfortable.) Shower valve needed repair; I had to turn the guts of the valve to get hot water (handle was broken). At $60, this would've been okay. But for $90, this was a rip-off. The other chain hotels were fully booked, so maybe Country Inn was simply bumping up rates on the weekend we were there. read more

Real rating -0 stars. My husband is a truck driver. Went to this hotel to get a room at 8am and was told he could have a room, but only until 11:30 am and then he would have to check out!!!! How stupid is that? He's been up driving all night and he's supposed to pay to sleep for 3 hours? So they wanted him to get up and check out and then what check back in at 3? So he left and found another hotel that had employees with common sense and that knew how to provide customer service. The hotel he stayed at checked him in with no problem. Country Inn employees idiots and their policy is just as idiotic. Never stay at this place! read more
