We had no hot water and they didn't offer to move us to another room. Dead cockroach in the shower. Our keys didn't open the outside door to let us into the building to get to our room. Absolutely the most disgusting hotel. My husband and I have ever stayed at. They arrived at 1:30 AM in the morning after driving a long day. We arrived into a room with filthy horses, torn up bathroom ripped curtains, and basically filthy all around. Breakfast was OK. We will never stay here again. Beware of this hotel. I was in my room naked when the hotel manager gave another guest access to my room. Because I didn't feel safe I asked to cancel the last night of my reservation. Additionally, the room lock was broken. The owner of the property told me that they were all booked out and couldn't switch our room until the next day. Also, the put us in the pet section and dogs were barking all night. Additionally, they didn't make the beds or take out the trash when asked for service. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. I booked it because I have always had good luck with Wyndham, but will never book with them again. read more

We booked for 4 nights with my mother in law. They placed us in the pet section of the hotel when we did not have any animals and we wished we had known because we were up every night with dogs barking. My mother in law was in our room alone when the front desk gave access to our room to other guests that entered our room twice! Our door also did not properly lock as well and made us uncomfortable to stay our last night. Due to their mistake of giving keys to our room to other guests we asked to cancel our last night but because we booked through a third party they refused and then continued to raise their voice arguing with my mother in law while being barefoot WTF! Very unprofessional and rude and I don't understand why they wouldn't want to correct their mistake and make it better by refunding us our last night when they created such an uncomfortable situation! The manager gave my husband a hard time, arguing and asking for email address. It was bizzare! He wanted to charge us $30. For our 3 ounce bird that sits in the cage and hardly ever comes out or makes any noise. My husband had a business meeting to attend on zoom and all of a sudden we hear this loud whisle sound coming from the bathroom. So I look for a phone to call front desk, there is no phone in the room. I go to the front desk and the manager follows me to the room, goes straight to the bathroom and openes the tank and does something and then flushes the toilet! And then we notice the sealing (posting the picture) and the electric outlet with no cover. The bottom of the wall left undone painting. I will never use your Hotels .com again, and I will advise all of my friends not to use you. This is a scam! You could not even get them to answer the phone on the day of the reservation. As most reviewers note, this hotel could use some spiffing up--paint that isn't completed, etc. But, I had a good experience that probably isn't captured by the other reviews. I realized after I left the hotel and got to my destination that I was missing my DSLR camera bag. And all the pictures in it that I'd taken at Bryce Canyon. Called the hotel, and yes, they had found it. The manager carefully explained to me how to get it shipped: go to UPS, buy a pre-paid box, fill it with air pockets, mail it to the hotel, they mail it back. Yes, it cost me $71 to do this, but within days I had my camera and pictures back as well as a travel pillow I had forgotten. And I didn't have to spend 11 hrs of driving to retrieve it. So, forgive the budget but adequate quality of the hotel, in favor of the reasonable price and the care that they showed for a guest's belongings. read more

Hard to believe that this hotel has such low ratings. I stayed here on a trip to Park City and liked it so much, I am here for a night on my return. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with the TV and they sent someone down to fix it in minutes. The hot breakfast includes waffles, eggs, and sausage. What more do you want for a $75 room? And if you drive a Tesla, a supercharger is in the parking lot. read more

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Stains on the walls, no baseboards, dirty bathroom, dried up food splatter on wall. The sheets were dirty and hairy like a dog had slept in them and then they just made the bed without changing the sheets. The room was so disgusting I asked to be switched to a new room. When I got to the second room there was packing tape holding the doorknob together. I walked in to an overwhelming smell like mildew or mold. At this point I went back to the front desk and asked to be refunded. I ended up driving 50 miles south at midnight to find another room. I do not know how this hotel has a Wingate/Wyndham name. Don't Stay Here! Horrible place. The room has a big hole in the wall and it STINKS. The guy at the front desk told me not to drink the water in the room, but his English is so bad I couldn't make out the reason. I was afraid to shower here, and I'm certainly not going to eat their breakfast in the morning. I'll never stay at a Wingate motel again. Trip Advisor gives this place 2.5 stars. That needs to change. It shouldn't get any stars at all. It's a crap motel run badly. Deferred maintenance is their motto. read more

I would give a negative review but 1 star is all I can give. We had a family member who had car trouble so we decided to stop here and let me tell you what I seen. When I get to my room before my kids touch anything I check the room and I see dirt stains and boogers on the comforters. Then see what looks like Semen on the side of the bed. I found drinks open and half full in our refrigerator (that wasn't ours). Microwave doesn't work. Then in the morning I discover more what looks to be human semen stains on the sheets and now I'm angry and livid, because I had kids sleep in that damn bed. Very disgusted and disappointed. Absolutely horrible. Arrived around 4am to an almost empty parking lot and checked in via the kiosk. Every single feature of the kiosk didn't work; ID scanner didn't work, card reader didn't work, receipt printer, you guessed it, didn't work. The virtual woman who was working the kiosk had to have us manually type our card number into the phone number section so she could run our card. When checking in we asked about late checkout since we had arrived so late. The kiosk woman told us to call the front desk at checkout in the morning to ask the general manger about a later checkout as she was unsure. Got to our room which was in okay shape but right next door to another room that was unlocked and open with construction going on. Lots of patches on the walls in our room, missing paint and needing repairs. Everything was fine but just dingy in general. We went to sleep and woke up at 10:55 to call the front desk and ask about a later checkout. At 10:58 "housekeeping" started BANGING on our door, saying that we needed to exit the room. We explained, through a closed door, that we were calling the front desk to ask for a late checkout like the kiosk lady had told us to do. The woman at our door genuinely screamed "THERE IS NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK! OPEN THE DOOR!" We are two young girls, traveling alone. I am not going to open the door for a random woman at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. This woman continued to yell and bang on the door. At some point a man joined her and they both yelled and banged. I have never in my life been treated like this, being absolutely berated and commanded to open the door. We finally opened the door after a few minutes of calling the front desk with no answer as the, i assume, only two employees continued to knock and yell. Upon opening the door, the "housekeeper" just stared at me and shrugged her shoulders. I assumed she had something to say since she had been losing her mind about opening the door but we just stared silently at each other until I began to, once again, explain to her that the woman at the kiosk had told us to call for late checkout. She told me that checkout was 11. I, again, reiterated what I had said and she called another man over to speak to us. This man walked INTO our room to speak to us. I, for ANOTHER time, explained what the woman at the kiosk had told us. He told us checkout was at 11, firm and any time we were in the room past 11 would be $30/MINUTE. We said okay, and that we'd be out in 5 minutes as there was nothing else to do. Him and the housekeeper turned around and walked away. We shut the door and sure enough were out in 5 minutes. I would never ever recommend this place. If the employees are the ones to make you feel unsafe then there is a bigger issue here. We'll see if we are charged an extra $150 for the 5 minutes we were in the room. If that's the case I will be fighting those charges. $140 for a 7 hour stay in a dingy hotel, where we spent our time arguing with hotel staff. 0 stars. read more

The hotel is in dire need of renovation. The building grounds are a bit trashy. It's probably a great options for truckers. The rooms are furnished with old beds, sheets and towels. The tub appears to be patched up. You can hear when some in another room flushes the toilet or takes a shower. As I write this, a spring in the mattress keeps springing beneath me. This hotel is dingy and old. They have a kiosk that checks you in even though the manager is standing right there. He does not hep you. He fights with the kiosk. It took us 35 minutes to check in. We thought since it was by Wyndham it would be a nice hotel it is far from it. They advertise HBO and Showtime but do not have the actual channels. This was a huge rip off. read more
