My wife and I decided to visit here about 6:30PM on the Fourth of July. Normally we stay inside…read morebecause we hate holidays where everything is closed but we were delighted to find out this place was open. The entrance to the farm kind of sneaks up on you fast; the whole place appears much smaller on the outside, but once you pull in and get to the gravel parking lot, you realize how much bigger it is inside. There was live outdoor music playing and kids laughing and cheering while playing with the nearby caged animals. This place was a great vibe. We weren't particularly hungry so I can't comment on the food, but we did take a walk around and paid for a quart box for blueberry picking. This was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing, but soon enough we filled up our little box very nicely. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

Recently discovered this hidden gem. Always saw the signs on the road, but never dropped into see…read morewhat it was all about. Amazing Orchard, great shopping facility, outdoor food, fireplace... It has it all going on. This location is amazingly popular and I'm surprised after living in the area for one year I'm just now discovering it. Definitely will return for more exploration. Great place to bring kids. Make sure you pack your wallet with plenty of cash. You won't get out of here cheaply.

EDIT- I altered my review to Four Stars since they are under new ownership and I want to give them…read morethe benefit of the doubt-- I'm pretty certain the service can only go up. I'll update once I've been back. Here is my original Two Star Review with the old owners; This should be a great place. I don't know why some of the people who work here seem so miserable and stressed. We've gone a few times, and when the college girls are working, or if the woman is there making pies everything is great and the service is solid. But if you happen to stop in and the two middle aged women are working you better get ready for some bad service. Not only were they complaining about both the schedule and someone who wasn't coming into work but when I ordered turkey and macaroni salad from the deli the woman stressed out over it. There were no people in the store besides my wife and I and they acted like there was a crazy rush. I'm standing in front of the deli and the woman waiting on me yells over to the woman at the register to ask her how much the macaroni salad is. Now keep in mind I'm standing there in front of the sign which reads $2.99lb. The woman at the register yells back "I don't know, um $3.99 a pound!" So I say to the woman behind the counter "actually it's $2.99 a lb, says so right here." And I point to the sign. The woman looks at me, and hands me the macaroni salad, marked $3.99 a pound. Then she turns her back on me, doesn't ask if I want anything else. So I ask for a pound of turkey and she gasps. She gasps like I just called in a bar mitzvah order for 300 people and I'm picking it up in ten minutes. She slices off the turkey and hands it to me. Hands it to me over the empty tip jar at the deli. If there had been a quarter in it I would have taken it, the service was that bad. At the register I tell the woman the macaroni salad is $2.99 a lb. SHE gasps and waddles over to the deli to see it for herself. She's over there for like three minutes, as if she can't possibly believe it's $2.99 She comes back, no apology, no nothing, giving me an attitude like I just got caught shoplifting (yes this is a grand macaroni salad scheme I'm running) and hands me the bag over her empty tip jar. Yes two tip jars in the store and both if them empty. Gee I wonder why?

I always drive by this place and had never stopped inside. I went in today to get some local corn…read moreand noticed there was a deli, so my husband and I both ordered sandwiches. They have a great variety of Boars Head Meats for their sandwich offerings. The prices are good too- only $6.49 for a pretty loaded sandwich on a bulkie that came with a pickle and chips. There was also a good variety of fresh baked goods and the staff was extremely kind and friendly- I was actually shocked when I read the other review of staff being rude. Great spot for a lunchtime sandwich, baked goods, seasonal produce, and old style candy!

I love this little joint! This whole central western/northern/centralish mass area is absolutely…read moredevoid of ... most things... but it's a refreshing change to find something between a big box grocery store (non existent around here) or a convenience store that has limited things - but this is the BEST location to buy produce, meat and frozen items in the area - period. It rivals that of farmer's markets which makes the name stand out. I really enjoy taking a ride there and taking my time in each department or aisle I feel that there's always something new each time I go there. It's almost like a boutique grocery store? Nah not like Whole Foods - think more like sodas from France, a loaded deli full of items and brands you are familiar with but some you just don't see at stop n shop or Costco - also have to mention that yes I know there barely anywhere to get a bit to eat so I have to recommend trying the pizza, incredible sandwich menu as well as the best deal in town - the smash burger ! A meal with fries will cost you FAR less than the drive thru crap and about 20,000 times better ! I would say it's the best kept secret but unless I go early on a weekday morning it's typically kind of busy. Absolutely love the mini liquor store - ultra convenient and love love love the selections of ciders and craft beers- it's actually almost staggering and overwhelming but then you realize 89% is local breweries/wineries/distilleries and it makes it better :) my only complaint at all is the high prices on a lot of things that's curely cheaper elsewhere like your Tostitos chips and polar seltzer but if you go with these expectations- you will enjoy your shopping experience here !!
