As they are famous for their peaches and apples at the local farmer's market, I really wanted to see the orchard itself as well as have an in-depth chat with one of the owners, Alan, who I got to know when purchasing their amazing produce. They have a really cute farm stand with lots of pumpkins and apples around this time of the year. You also have the option on going apple picking in the orchard and see how the different apples are grown. Alan, who usually doesn't take people on a tour around the orchard, showed me around and explained all their operations throughout the year. It was really eye opening to the farming industry around this region (compared to California where it never stops). Picked up some apples and cider, enjoyed the fall colors before driving through the back route where you can see the Boston skyline from quite a distance. Definitely recommend the non-touristy experience here.

The brands have changed. The orchards are overgrown and covered in poison ivy with no landscaping to protect patrons, not even warnings. They no longer prepare ordered sandwiches fresh or pastries and soups. Instead just throw together a couple premade soggy sandwiches. Who makes a turkey and ham with a piece of lettuce sandwich and charges $8? I don't know if management changed, but the delightful and welcoming service is now void. I felt as if I was a bother and got the drift I wasn't at all welcomed with underlying tones of "ok get what you see and get out." I miss the kind ladies from 15-20 years ago who treated you like old friends. I had driven about 20 miles, excited to visit this old orchard I adored for years as a summer day escape to refresh. I left feeling heavily disappointed, turned away and realizing the age of kind service, pleasant and genuine "how do you do's" are a thing of the past. The sadness leaving was palpable. I really used to love this place. I could tell the staff just wanted to do the least and clock out. It left a very poor taste in my mouth. Dare I say a broken heart. The soul is gone. I ask that I don't receive a response from ownership because it will just hurt more.

Our bill was brought to us right away and we were helped frequently through lunch. What more can you ask for?! Oh good music, they had that too :)

The least amount of peaches I could get would've been $8.50. I only wanted to try a few. Overall produce selection was lacking. They didn't seem to have a great selection of fresh baked goods. I did pick up some local spreadable cheese that I like, but it was pricey compared to other places I've purchased in the past (Smith's country cheese is very good if you want to try it out). They sell fruits and veggies from local farms nearby. Fresh baked breads, local honey. There is even a local meat and poultry stand that has decent prices on grassfed beef and free range chicken! I joined a friend on a hot and humid summer morning to indulge in the fun of unlimited time in the fields/rows of flowers. It's as simple as trading your keys for the loan of a set of "snips" and walk the fields, cutting what looks good to you and creating bouquets as you go. For $20 you can fill a mason jar, or for $75, you can have a basket that hooks over your arms to fill with as many stems as you can! There are limits to certain varieties- like only 5 dahlias, please. The rows are very obviously and carefully marked with any restrictions. I filled my jar with enough flowers to create two arrangements once I got home! I made the rookie mistake of trying to trim and arrange as I was picking- I won't do that again bc it limits creativity once you're home. Frejulian's offers a subscription to the farm so you can visit every week for new bouquets! This runs July-October. Frejulian's also has a robust fruit and veggie stand. The produce was more expensive than the grocery store but looked beautiful. I was not in the market for food today. The only negatives to the experience are choosing how to create your bouquet out of the multitudes of choices and while the bees are certainly needed for the pollination of these beauties, there are a lot. The friend I was with had been stung last week and was nervous about any repeat experiences. I will most definitely be back- this is a fun addiction!!

We got a mason jar from the stand for $20 dollars and you can pick as many flowers as you please that will fit into the jar. The environment was amazing and very relaxing with all the rows of flower beds you were able to pick from and each row had different breeds of flowers. The staff was very friendly and helpful and explains where to cut the flower stems from and how many of each flower you can take to make sure everyone has a chance to get specific flowers. There is a farmers market also next to the flower picking fields that sells fruit, vegetables, and snacks. I look forward to coming back and definitely recommend this place to people who haven't been before.

That's about all I can say for them. The prices are higher than at Dick's Market Garden in Lunenburg. Not everything is price marked either. I liked that they offered beets without all the leaves on them. Then I got home and opened the bag to find they didn't clean the dirt off the bottoms, great big clumps of dirt. Cooked them and when I went to peel them they were white inside. Beets might have white or pale areas due to nutrient deficiencies. They don't give you a detailed receipt so you can see what you bought for how much and comparison shop because they are more than the competition. More money for less.
