Great for a quick soda or snack. Always friendly service and treat customers well. Family run.

Fast forward to today - such a disaster. The place has definitely fallen apart - everything Mo did to keep this afloat has gone down hill. Definitely have been skipping this spot and will do so until they bring Mo back.

The Slurpee Store in Hanover…read more This 7-Eleven is my go to Slurpee Store when I'm close to Hanover. It is clean, bright, safe, has an abundance of drinks and snacks. Sometimes it smells like armpits... But I've been to 7-Elevens that have been/smelled worse. Aside from the occasional errant smell, this place is great if you are looking for a place to grab a quick drink or snack from. My wife who loves Slurpees a mere fraction that I do has asked me to drive us to this specific location for a Slurpee when she's thirsty. The drink counters are well stocked and clean. The Slurpees have consistently been at the right consistency when we've come. And the Slurpee flavors they carry tend to include the latest offerings. Getting in and out of here is easy and I appreciate that. This location was giving away free small Slurpees on 7/11 to celebrate Free Slurpee Day. There was no gimmick or hassle to get one, just pour yourself a small Slurpee between 11am and 7pm, show the cashier, get the thumbs up, and be on your way. If you have the 7-Eleven app there is No Hassle to use it here. What's not to love about getting a free drink after buying any 6 drinks from 7-Eleven? If you're looking for a quick drink or snack in the Hanover you should check this place out.

I have shopped at this establishment for many years and for many years I have tolerated the cold…read moredirect demeanor of this one salesman. However, tonight was the last straw. This guys always has a nasty attitude with the customers and I always try to ask him how's it going or leave the conversation with be safe. Tonight I went in and was about to buy 3 drinks from the fridge and an x-large big gulp, but there was no lid for the big gulp and no straw. So not to cause an issue I took one of the slurpee lids and a slurpee straw. Got to the counter and mentioned there were no more lids or straws for the x-large big gulps. He said really and walked away. My son said I'll tell him we also need a straw, I said ok. So as he was walking off my son said excuse me sir we also need a straw. He continues walking and acted like he didn't hear him, so on his way back with the wrong lid my son said, I don't think he heard me because he only brought a different lid. So as he walked away the second time, my son said again, we also need a (before he could finish the word) straw, the salesman said (in a very aggressive and aggravated tone) I heard you!! Right there I watched my son a very vibrant, polite and respectful young black man get a defeated look that shook me. I didn't want to take on the role of the angry black woman and didn't want to be disrespectful in front of my son. So I asked my son to please put the drinks back in the fridge and waited for the salesman to come back. When he came back he threw the straw down on the counter next to the x-large big gulp and changed the lid and said there. I said ok thank you, but I won't be buying this again. He said what you don't want it? I said nope, won't be buying it not with that attitude...have a good night and left. This was so unnecessary....I've seen him treat big rough looking pickup truck driving black and mild, Marlboro Newport smoking dudes in such a different manner and never acted out of pocket with them, no matter how they acted with him and to witness him asserting his machismo over a 12yr old 5ft 90lb kid the way he did to make his balls feel bigger was so hurtful. I hope he will be safe at that location, but god forbid one day he will come off with that attitude on the wrong person and he will regret the outcome...that is if he doesn't change his behavior.

He greeted me upon entering, asked me how my day was, made me aware of the 7-Eleven rewards program, and gave me a fond farewell...and I wasn't the only one who was receiving this treatment. Seriously this guy either needs a raise, promotion, or needs to work in fine dining because he's solid and knows how to make a guest leave his house happy.
