This place has been our go to every year for the past 5+ years. It's peaceful and the scenery is beautiful! The owners have been extremely kind to us every time. The owner has beens especially nice to my step son and that speaks volumes to me. We will continue to come back here and make memories for years to come.

Country Bumpkins is an amazing place! As someone who camps often, I am blown away by the amenities their campground offers. There are reasonably priced cabins, RV sites and tent sites. The bathhouse is clean and has the best water pressure and hot water I have ever experienced. There is a playground, game room, waterfalls and river access. What more could you need? Diane and Mario are so kind and take such good care of their property! I'm sorry to see the negative reviews posted, as I know, they are not deserved. By keeping watch over the property, they ensure that only campers who are supposed to be here, are here. I know I am safe camping here as a single woman travelling alone and that my belongings are secure because the campground is secure. I am so thrilled that Country Bumpkins has quiet hours as well. It is a smaller campground and noise travels at night. I have been at other locations where fellow campers have stayed up all night drinking and blasting music or even watching t.v. outside!? Personally I go camping to escape all the noise and having the campground adhere to nighttime quiet hours is a blessing....especially if you are camping with your children. If you are looking to camp in Lincoln or Woodstock this is the place! Book it now! You won't regret it!

My wife and some friends spent a few nights here last month and loved this place. We had some sights right on the river and had a fantastic weekend. The prices are very reasonable. They offer bathrooms and showers, a small store and a small dish wash station. This campground is very small but it's great. It's very close to local trails, restaurants, stores and tourist attractions. The bathrooms were pretty clean, the stalls suck tho when your on the toilet there is a door right in your face It's very tight that's really my only complaint about this campground. We will definitely be back here and I would recommend this campground to others.

We are middle-aged RVers with a teen daughter and two adult sons who occasionally will join us when we camp and we all absolutely love this place! We're back for the fourth year in a row and plan to return as long as we're campers. Very clean bath house (though the stalls are a little cramped) and a little laundry facility on site. Country Bumpkin is conveniently located: walking distance to Clark's Trading Post and just a short drive to Loon Mountain and the Kankamagus Highway. There's so much to do nearby and our hosts, Diane and Mario, have always been welcoming and accommodating. I like that the campground rules are enforced as it makes for a relaxing getaway for families. If your plan is to party into the wee hours, this isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for a scenic campground where you can sit and listen to the river trickle by while enjoying a cocktail or two, definitely book a stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend in September 2020 with our dogs in our tent. We LOVED it! The owners were friendly and personable, and everything was so clean!! We had a site right by the creek and it was just so peaceful. The bathrooms were heated, hot water shower, and SO CLEAN! They have free WiFi which is great, but we believe the whole point of camping is to cut off the rest of the world for a time and just enjoy nature and what it has to offer, and this is the perfect place to do it! The location is very central to so many things! We hiked Mount Lafayette and Mount Lincoln while we were there. We found a cute breakfast place for coffee and bagels, and the little Main Street area had a couple of cute stores and some restaurants. It's the perfect place for a relaxing weekend and even better that you can bring your dogs!! We can't wait to go back!

First I was looking for a camping close to the trails without lots of people. I decided country bumpkins because the reviews and the name. Cute name! Once I got here I was afraid to be very close to the street. I was wrong. Once we did the check in with Amy, on of the nicest person I met, we move to our site. OMG this is amazing!!! We are at the river, close to a little waterfall. We had one of the best night of sleep ever! The water in the shower is awesome, makes you stay a little longer. They have wifi, each I'm using right now to place this review. Gotta go take a nap... The sounds around are very relaxing!

We are on a road trip from Montreal to Maine. We wanted to hike White Mountains so this place was idally located. For 25$ we got a very nice spot to pitch our tant that included a picnic table and a metal thing for fire/barbeque. The place is very scenic located along a river you have wifi and hot showers. The tant sites are without electricity or water but you can charge your phones at the office and the site is small so the showers are not far. You also have a small playground for kids and the office is also a small grocery store. Bottom line great site, scenic l, good location, wifi and reasonably priced.

Very unprofessional and then Tomtxted me from a different number POSING AS ANOTHER AGENT FROM ANOTHER REALTY! I knew it wasn't who it was supp to be but I played along and in the end I called him out on his bs of his fake identity. I'm pretty sure they broke some sort of law posing as someone else. Shady ppl like this u don't want to trust your money with! I have also filed a claim with the BBB. *u have to read the txt backwards as the pics are posted in order back wards so start from "Tommy, I am 25 min away"... and read them backwards. If you're looking for property in the area look faaaaar away from this group of inexperienced clowns. UPDATE: 3 days ago (4 mos after my review) John S wrote a 5 star review and no surprise I get an email from yelp saying they removed my posted pics of text messages I spoke of in my first review. Clearly John S is a friend or probably them posing as someone else AGAIN to remedy their ONE review of mine.

(I found this out because another real estate company called to see if we wanted to list with them) Called Dave on that, he said it was a sale's strategy. ...but would get that up right away.........so we missed out on May. Fast forward 30 days, Turns out he didn't even list it as a Commercial property....so anyone looking for commercial, our building wouldn't even show up.....Called Dave again, ...again he says it was a sale's strategy ....but would fix that immediately.....2 weeks later , our commercial building is still listed as a single family home. So basically, we contracted with O'Rourke 10 weeks ago and our property still isn't listed properly for someone looking for commercial real estate in our area, missing the Prime selling season....We will be pulling our listing as soon as Dave gets back from his 2 week vacation, as he can't be bothered to do his job properly and lies about his so called "sale's strategy" ......really if I could give a Negative Star, I would, that's how truly terrible this agency is.

I am almost afraid to do this review because then the word will get out about this amazing place…read more We cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was. Igor, the owner, checks in on you without being intrusive. He is always around if you need anything and is very accommodating. We stayed in Cabin#9. There were 5 of us. We stayed for 6 nights. You walk through a covered porch into an open concept living room/eat in kitchen. There are 2 full bathrooms side by side with walk in showers. Then you walk through each bathroom to get to a bedroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed. Each bathroom and bedroom were nearly identical. Each bedroom had an in-wall air conditioner. There were no air conditioners in the main living space, but we kept the bedroom and bathroom doors open and it kept the place cool. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full sized refrigerator and freezer, stove with oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and drip coffee maker. There was an extra leaf for the kitchen table, if needed, and additional folding chairs, if needed. There was a tv in both bedrooms and the living room. One of our kids slept on the couch, which opens to a bed, but she opted to not open it up. There were bath towels for 6 people. Igor offered to provide more if needed. There is no daily cleaning. The cottage came with 3 small bars of soap in each bathroom and some extra toilet paper. There was also dish soap and sponge in kitchen. Some things to consider bringing: toiletries, charcoal and lighter, hair dryer, iron and ironing board (if you are into ironing), pool towels, and board games and playing cards. These were not provided. Also, note there are no on-site guest laundry facilities. There is a laundromat in town, if needed. The outside pool was wonderful. It was between 85 and 87 degrees every day. There were also horseshoes and corn hole. There were tubes to float on by the pool. In the back of each cabin was a small Weber charcoal grill . Bring your own charcoal. There is also a fire pit with cooking grate. The Pemi river runs behind all of the cabins except Cabin#1. The river is too rocky to swim in behind the cabins, but there are other places you can swim in the Pemi, including Cascade Park in the center of North Woodstock, Otter Rocks and Lower Falls. The cabins are very close in walking distance to downtown North Woodstock and there are sidewalks to make it safe. There are wonderful restaurants and quaint shops there. The cabins are very close to the Kangamagus Scenic Byway, which has great pull offs for hiking and scenery, Franconia Notch State Park (less than 10 minutes drive), Lincoln and the Riverwalk by Loon (3 minute drive), White Mountains National Forest (less than 20 minutes). Loon Mountain (5 minutes drive) Cannon Mountain (10 minute drive) Bretton Woods (35-40 minute drive). Firewood was available for sale on site for $6, bags of ice were available for $3.

Rating: 4.7 Tried…read moretheir zip line course during the off season since there were limited things open around the area. We booked online a head of time and made a reservation for a time. We got there 10minutes early and were informed some guidelines to follow. Got myself a hat since I forgot to bring one was pretty cold. Since it was during offseason we were only ones there. We were escorted to the gear house and equipped with helmet, safety harness and a latch. The staff gave us a ride to the zip line course and took a truck up the hill. They did tell us to make sure to keep helmet on and seatbelt because it was going to be rough ride up due to it being mud season. It sure was a rough ride up and probably was in the air quite a few times during the ride. I looked at one of the staff and used my foot to secure myself like he was doing to keep myself stable which helped. It was definitely the toughest part of the experience. Once we got to the zip line area we were given a brief instructions for safety and we buckled up and started our zip line session. In the beginning it was a bit intimidating but the staffs were all very nice and made us feel safe during the experience. Once we got going it was very enjoyable and thrilling. It was cold but we were mostly prepared and dressed warm and the hat I purchased helped. The views were also beautiful. At the end we got to go in a treehouse and take some picture at the end. After we finished we were escorted back to the truck and took the van to the main facility which was a mild ride compared to on the way. We dropped off our equipments and left the facility. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and had a great time. Everyone was nice and accommodating made us feel safe. It was also nice that we were only ones there because we got a private session and full attention during the experience. Definitely would recommend for those that enjoy or beginner who would like to try zip lining. My partner who can be la little anxious about these experience enjoyed it and was perfectly fine throughout the experience. The experience was a bit on pricier side but I think it was worth it.

The car ride is very bumpy, and it for the faint of heart. If you have back problems, this is not the car ride for you~ apparently during the summer, guests have to hike up rather than use the trucks which seems like a moderate level walk in my opinion. We were the only guest since it was spring off season~ plenty of mud but it was great! We prepped with our hiking boots, layers, and hats are a must. Gloves helped our hands stay warm. The staff seem close and look like they enjoy what they do~ really great experience filled with views and good happy adrenaline screams!
