I had purchased a used Country Boy trailers a couple of years ago and was so impressed that when that trailer was stolen that is where I went to buy a replacement. I have owned the new trailer for a couple of months and regret my decision every time I use the new trailer. Cheap. That is the only word to describe the product that Country Boy Trailers produces. Rust is already showing on the hinges and brackets. The galvanized finish on the tow chains is coming off. They used the thinnest angle iron possible. So if you come across an older County Boy trailer I would recommend that you buy it. If you are looking to buy a new trailer DO NOT BUY the cheap product they are producing now read more

DO NOT have these guys install a receiver hitch on your vehicle or do any work to a vehicle that is either towing or will be towed. On May 10th 2017, I brought my RV to them to install a receiver hitch and purchase a tow dolly to pull my car. I sat there for several hours while they did their "work." They informed me it was ready to go, hooked the dolly up to my RV and sent me on my way. Fast forward 1.5 month. In 1.5 months, my brand new dolly had a blow out on the first trip (under 500 miles) on the right hand side. I decided not to tow with a dolly anymore and rigged my car for a flat tow with a tow bar. On my 1st trip with it, I noticed the tow bar had moved. After thorough investigation, and 2 other people looking under my rig, we discovered a 1" gap where Country Boy Trailers did NOT bolt in the back side of the receiver hitch. Curt hitches require 4 bolts. 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Country Boy only installed 2 bolts (one on each side in the front) then they did a poor job of welding the hitch to the frame of my rig. No paint was removed and they did not toe-in to form a union so the "weld" broke. In short, the hitch was coming off of my rig. Had I not noticed and had 2 other individuals went under the rig to see what was going on, I could have been sent down the road and my car would have eventually disconnected from my rig and possibly killed me and others. Needless to say, I was horrified when I discovered what they did and what the outcome could have turned out to be. Don't go to these guys. They cut corners that are major safety risks and put peoples lives in danger. read more

We came to this place with a 26', double axel trailer that we thought had an alignment issue. When we called, they said they could fit us in that day, and seemed very accommodating. When we got there, it was a large facility, but a typical trailer shop. It wasn't exactly clean or grease free in their store, but it wasn't something that I would shelter small children from. They came out to look at the trailer, and were immediately able to tell us that the alignment was fine, it was just bad tires on the trailer itself. This was a relief, and instilled some confidence in me that they were not going to try to rip us off. We did get four new tires, and an additional trailer leg welded on in the back. They did a good job, and were (surprisingly) able to get us complete the same day since we were needing to leave as soon as possible to make our next destination. They were nice there, and seemed to know what they were doing, however, in my untrained opinion only, were a bit pricey. read more

I recently purchased a 31 ft sailboat on Ebay. I live in OK & the boat is in GA. The trailer was in need of repair tha was not disclosed in the Ebay ad of by the seller. Apparently the seller was not aware of the extent of the issues & actually suggested Country Boy Trailers. He then took it to them for an estimate. Mark Mundy was VERY diligent & helpful via email & phone. He sent me pictures showing the extent of the rust damage to the trailer. . Unfortunately the seller & I could not come to terms on the undisclosed damage repair & the boat sale was canceled. Mark Mundy & Country Boy Trailers saved me untold thousands in repair costs &/or a catastrophe towing the boat to OK. THANKS MARK!!!!! read more

Came here for studs and lug nuts. Charged me $29.75 to tap in the lugs. Asked why the bill was so much, said he charged a little labor like $20. When I left and looked at the bill it was $29.75 labor for 3 minutes of work. Totally ripped off. Will not return. Wished I would've read the other reviews before coming here. Good experience with these folks. Called on phone and got information that was accurate when i visited the store. Joanne helped me and was informative, honest, and customer service oriented. Needed the ball on a trailer hitch moved up 2 holes to accommodate a new tow vehicle. Took less than 5 minutes and the only part needed was a washer. Bill was $25.50 !!. Thats the last time they will see me. read more
