The prices were perfectly reasonable and their plans to get better discounts soon was well thought out. This is there first week after all. I visited specifically for pokemon and lorcana and we were happy to see a wonderful selection. They even bought some of our cards for a great trade percentage. I've traded a few cards for store credit and they take the time to look up how much the cards are going for and offer a decent trade rate. This place is always packed and full of both kid and adult collectors alike. I've sat down and gone through the boxes that they keep at the table a few times and even the customers I've sat with are kind and willing to help you hunt for the cards that you are looking for. It's nice to have a place where the Pokemon loving community can come together like that. They recently rearranged the store to allow for a more open layout and I like it. This store was open until midnight on the day I visited. That's not something I've encountered at a…read morelocal gaming store before. It also offered a selection of beers including one called Batsquatch IPA I didn't have time to try (heavy sigh). A lot of gamers were here having a good time. The selection of board games and tabletop role playing games was excellent. I came in looking for two great games I'd been introduced to by family on vacation -- Codenames and Squalor -- and it had both. There's also an OSR (Old School Renaissance) display of adventures and related products for Dungeon Crawl Classics. That's not something I find at most RPG stores. I'm looking forward to going here again. I hope it still has Batsquatch.

Went to Casual Heroes to play Magic The Gathering Prerelease this past weekend. Had a great time,…read moregot some great pulls, and even tied for first! It was an easy process to pay online at their website to make sure I got a spot. Recommended doing that rather than driving across town and waiting or not knowing. Many stores in the area were sold for the prerelease event, so just glad I got to get in here through the website purchase. The distributors were delayed on release day, but the UPS hero showed up just in time. The owner assured me though that if by chance the shipment was delayed and they would need to postpone the event they would ship my prerelease kit to my home in Texas...great customer service! The owner and staff have been very cordial and you can tell they care for their regulars and all customers! Their products range from board games to miniatures and all look like a good value. They have a computer in the back to search their card singles inventory. You can even setup a store account and accrue store credit on all you purchases. I have played Commander on Friday nights here, too. The parking can get crowded and you'll have to park in the back lot, so keep that in mind when coming. The pods are always running it seems like, but usually from 7pm-midnight is for their event sponsored by WoTC where they'll do a random winner of a pack or something. Free to sign up and play! They have a cEDH group I got many games in with and they were all nice people. Definitely coming back to hangout when I get back to JAX!
