I definitely wanted to take the time to write this review based on my experience at this cute little spot in Menlo Park. I flew in for a 2 day work trip into Silicon Valley and stayed at Hotel Nia which is a town over. I stumbled upon this cafe on a whim looking through options to have some food before heading to Palo Alto and so happy I did! The location was a little strange to find as it was located inside a very corporate business center but the lovely thing about it was all the free parking. The property in itself is aesthetically pleasing and a lot of open space which I was later informed by one of the cafe managers can be rented out for private events or business meetings which is great for future endeavors* They had a full coffee bar for an afternoon pick me up, and a delicious lunch menu. I opted for the portabello sandwich which was perfectly executed. The sandwich was explosive in flavor loaded with crisp and fresh veggies paired with some French fries of course Service was fast and amicable and prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back soon!!!

New Business Alert!! This restaurant serves American breakfast and lunch fares in the Stanford business park in MP! They literally just opened and it's a beautiful space with inside and outside seating ! So far I have had the chicken and veggies and it's been tender and flavorful! Staff is amazing and very friendly! Parking is plentiful ! Clean amenities and they offer fruit infused water ! Highly recommend but bring card not cash !!! They don't accept cash :)

I haven't tried the basque cheesecakes and the puddings, but have been a repeat customer for their roll cakes. So far I've tried their matcha, coffee, and black sesame roll cakes and all are fantastic. Super strong flavors and the chiffon cake isn't too dry. Ordered: Hojicha Einspanner (go to), Espresso Tonic (go to), Seasonal Drinks, Pour Over Covour is one of our favorite coffee shops and we always come during the weekends! Highly recommend going early because the parking fills up fast, therefore, the seating in the coffee shop fills up fast as well. Our go-tos are usually an Iced Hojicha Einspanner and a pour over, Iced Americano, or an Espresso Tonic. We've tried their matcha as well, which is also solid! Every single time we have gone (which is usually when they open), there is already a line forming outside the door. Depending on how busy it is, we have waited between 12-18 minutes for our drinks (on the high end), but the drinks are always so yummy! They also have an amazing selection of pastries including an everything croissant, cookies, mochi, pistachio raspberry croissant, spinach and feta croissant, and a mushroom croissant to name a few! Their Hojicha Einspanner is sooo good. The Einspanner is so creamy and their Hojicha is the perfect, balanced amount of nutty flavors. Whenever I have ordered this drink, people are always eyeing to see what it is because the presentation is also that good! The Espresso Tonic is also a perfect summer drink and the shot was pulled perfectly. If you want to get some work done here, I'd highly recommend coming early so you can grab a table and to also bring your headphones because it does get busy and loud. They also have WiFi and one single bathroom. Thanks Covour Coffee!

The coffee bean choice is in question here. Seems to be the root of all the bad drinks. Well the toppings are sub par as well. The everything croissant with cream cheese saved this from a ZERO star. The people who go here are not real coffee connoisseurs. Careful with the reviews. For the connoisseurs - the drinks are not refined. It's slapped together. It doesn't have the layering connoisseurs seek. Iykyk. I had so much hope, I mean, how bad can a coffee shop be if it's in a coffee town. The decor and vibe is nice, however.

Parking: Underground garage, stairs or lift (elevator) up one floor to the Cafe Barrone and Keplers Book Store. We were lucky as I was able to find a table outside. Indoor seating is available and that is also where you place your order. When you pay, you are given a number to place on your table. Order regular coffee here and hot chocolate, or special coffees at another counter. They forgot to give the Duchess the regular coffee, but noticed the mistake at the special counter and brought the coffee to the Duchess while she was picking up her hot chocolate. Smoked Salmon Bagel Platter $22.00: Smoked Salmon, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Capers, Red Onion, & Whipped Cream Cheese with your choice of toasted bagel. My choice: Forever bagel. The dish was was plentiful, smelling and tasting deliciously fresh. Large dollop of cream cheese was much appreciated. Bagel was nicely toasted and there was no hole for ingredients to fall through. Loved that! ORGANIC BEET SALAD $15.00 Roasted organic beets, grapefruit, pickled fennel, avocado, goat cheese, & house balsamic vinaigrette. Title should have said ORGASMIC, because the Duchess proclaimed it to be the very best salad she has ever been served in her realm (wink!) CUSTARD sorry no price, my bad. Duchess says she could eat a 55 gallon drum of this creamy rich dessert. Covered with a dusting of fresh nutmeg making it downright addictive. Drinks: Regular Coffee Taylor Maid Farms Drip $4.75 was nothing to write home about. Would not order it again. It looked like coffee, but no taste on the tongue Hot Chocolate $5.00 Duchess made a rookie mistake and tried to sip it before sucking off some of the whip cream, the chocolate milk flowing lovingly down her white flowery dress. Being the "quite proper" Brit, there was no audible curse. Still, she found it very tasty, with a strong chocolate flavor, which left her wishing she had ordered the large cup. Trendy, bustling, loud crowd. Casual dress is the order. Noise level is not so much as to be painful. If your wearing hearing aids, you may enjoy removing one. Sadly, all the staff were walking around with seriously sullen faces. Our server delivered our order with word unspoken, expressionless. So we were pleasantly surprised with Miguel, who while bussing our table was smiling and downright charming. 5 stars to this young man. Yes, we were here to eat, but it is nice to not feel your attending a funeral, when your spending dollars. Tips start at 18% and up. For what? You basically wait on yourself. Two types of beans with cards describing where they come from and what flavors to expect. Experience was pleasant, even though the place was crowded. The coffees themselves were just ok. I was told what order to drink them in and I finished (90%), all but the iced version - something about the light roast with sour notes really put me off. Reasons to return: People watching- excellent. So many strollers with human and canines in them. Stayed for 1.5 hrs Coffee- good. Didn't love everything they served but they were purposeful in teaching about beans and prep. Service- fine. Person taking the order was lovely, person serving the order was clinical. No smiles on this guy.

They also have a fun selection of cards and gifts by local artists, although some of the prices are a bit unreasonable (like $40 for a tiny planter pot). The coffee shop is fine, but less exciting.
